Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and a girl who served it was nice. It is a modern new place in a nice vibrant area full of shops and cozy cafes.

Take into account that it is a hilly area and elder people or people with health problems can be challenged by this.

We had the most spectacular room (Presidential suite) and view of Istanbul’s from the huge balcony. Every day, the room was flooded with the warm winter sun and we just spent hours watching the beautiful city, the sun set behind Galata Tower. The facilities and comfort of the room were unparalleled. The hotel is a steep walk up from the Main Street , but it’s hardly 300mtrs and you find yourself thick in the action with Galataport right there. Breakfast was very healthy and we liked that it’s a small hotel so very calm during breakfast time.

Spacious, comfortable and very clean suite. Attitude of staff - all very friendly and helpful. Good choice and quality of food at breakfast. Roof terrace had amazing views.

We booked a suite with a balcony on booking.com's website. When we arrived, our room did not have a balcony. It was a French Balcony (railings across the French Doors) which we were unable to sit out on - very disappointing. We queried this immediately - the staff member we spoke to said that this has happened before with Booking.com. We were offered a room with a balcony to sit out on for 3 of our 6 nights (due to availability) for an extra 240 euros per night. The terrace needs more tables and chairs. There is a very steep hill from the tram stop to the suites.

The hotel and staff were as we expected. They were extremely helpful. The only suggestion I would make is for them to have a more rounded list of suggested restaurants at different price points. It is great to have fine dining but it would have been nice if they would have suggested a few reasonably priced places as well. P.S. The hill up to the hotel is no joke but we felt like it provided good exercise so we didn't mind it. Overall, it was an excellent stay at a boutique hotel close to everything.

Maybe a happy hour time around sunset would have been nice.

The design and size of the room were amazing! Knowing this was the former Turkish headquarters for Ogilvy and Mather, the setting gave off "Mad Men" vibes. The server at breakfast was attentive and friendly. Staff were helpful. I would recommend staying here again in the future - it is a bit more off the beaten path location wise, but having stayed in Istanbul before in a more tourist-central location, this was perfectly suited for our needs. The rooftop views were stunning.

The breakfast could have included a bit more Turkish specialities. They would run out of items and not replenish.

Love this boutique hotel. In a great area of Istanbul , 5 stops in tram from the square with most tourist attractions. Nice to be out of the business. We had a lovely spacious suite, lovely furniture, lots of big windows and an amazing view. Breakfast and staff were lovely.

Not that I didn’t like it…… but he warned the hill to get to the hotel is ‘short but very steep ‘ not for the faint hearted but good exercise!

The room was really great value for money, spacious, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful, with a warm and friendly welcome. Fantastic location, easy walking distance from some great local restaurants, the metro link and the harbour. The view from the roof terrace is magnificent.

My only criticism would be that the tv should also be able to be viewed from the bed and the roof terrace needs some sun loungers and maybe some bistro tables and dining chairs with sun parasols . Beautiful views up there, but the space could be better utilised with a little additional furniture.

The staff at the hotel reception was absolutely wonderful. Took care of my airport transfers with ease and made a change easily when I requested. Communication was great regarding the transfers, hotel charges, etc. Superb location in a quieter, more residential area of the city but close to the happening neighborhood of Beygolu and an easy walk to the tram, ferry port and across the water to the main attractions. Comfortable beds, easy temperature controls, great balcony, awesome rainshower and appreciated complimentary coffee and tea in rooms, as well as the turn-down service. Clean and room re-stocked each day. Fantastic breakfast spread. Rooftop view was amazing!

Design of the room. Nothing that was a rule-breaker, just strange. TV not in front of bed and angle couldn't be adjusted, poorr lighting in mini-bar area, super limited vanity space due to the crater shaped sink and one tiny trashcan in the bathroom for the whole room

We were greeted by Ozan on reception and he was the most helpful and efficient person. The hotel is very modern and stylish. Great breakfast too! Our room was on the top floor with amazing views. Very well appointed and spotlessly clean. All the staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything.

Yes there is a steep hill up to the hotel but we managed it and it wouldn’t put us off returning.

I found the beds a little too firm. I know that some guest might prefer this, but perhaps memory foam toppers could be kept in storage as an option for guests that need a softer sleeping experience. That would be great. The memory foam hybrid matress and sleep experience is becoming more and more popular in homes everywhere, so a traveler like myself would sleep better with something similar, and the removable topper say 2” inches could be applied or removed to accommodate a variety of tastes.
