Didn’t appreciate the add’l fees for parking our golf cart while staying there. Paying $600.00 per night should included parking.

The grounds of the property are very tropical, lovely, and well kept. We stayed in the Annex, which is across a small side street from the main property, and it was very private and quiet (only 10 rooms). The Bungalow Bar poured good drinks. We had a king room with a private patio space that was great. I've seen reviews about the complimentary breakfast being meager, but that wasn't our experience. The spread was more than adequate and had some type of hot option each day (egg, bacon, and cheese quesadilla one day, pancakes the next, etc.), plus the normal continental breakfast items.

It's a minor point, but the pool areas get busy throughout the day and can use a little more attention/cleanup. The hotel's location is good and it is only 2 blocks to Duval Street, but it is more the quieter end of Duval. Expect to walk a good 15-20 minutes to get to the livelier end, Mallory Square, etc.

The staff is very accommodating and service oriented. This is a great location near all the places you’d want to see but minus the crazy. It’s like a little village of cottages and old houses with paths that meandered throughout, with several small swimming pools placed here and there, giving it a very intimate feel. They also have a delicious complimentary continental breakfast, plenty of healthy options and yummy stuff too….with so much more offered to eat than any continental breakfast I’ve had before.

The things that could be improved are more functional storage. The full length mirror was mounted behind the rack where your clothes hang. They need to put a light and outlet near the little vanities. I know these are minor things but they would make the rooms more comfortable.

Very nice secluded in the trees it felt wonderful during rainstorms. Parking was on site but it did cost us per day.

That you charged us $30 to park in your parking lot after paying to stay there.

It's a nice property. Preserved, old-style bungalows that are grouped ~10 per building. It's kind of like being in apartments but better with an old-style vibe. The two pools are nice, and so is the breakfast / bar area. The persons at the reception desk were genuine at check-in and again when we checked out. This location met my expectations, being a couple streets off Duval Street. It can take ~10min walk to be in the middle of the Duval Street action.

The air conditioner is loud. I could rest with it, but it kept my wife from sleeping through the night. Also, repair or improvement work with hammering and power tools started on the room next to ours around 7:30AM on the morning that we wanted sleep in. Couldn't they take into consideration in planning that guests might want quiet at that time of day?

At check in I was upgraded to a room with a patio. The property was like an oasis but you are right in the heart of key west. We loved the free drinks, and refreshments at the pool and the breakfast was more than we had hoped for. Pool was exceptionally clean and relaxing on a hot day. Staff was quick to offer help and was easy to text when questions came up.

The room smelled musty when you walked in, it’s historic so we aren’t sure if that is why. Also, the floor seemed a little dirty like they weren’t mopped before we arrived. Parking was steep, compared to other properties we’ve stayed at.

We loved the lush garden surroundings and the charm of the old style bungalows. The whole place both inside and out was well appointed. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom clean and nice. The location was excellent, within walking distance of so many wonderful spots. And we adored the breakfast!

The walls are quite thin and we heard our neighbors engaging in frequent quite intimate behavior. We are all for young love, but it was not something we wanted to hear. Had to put on white noise so we wouldn't be awakened.

What a beautiful property! Very clean, close to Duval , almost next to Hemingway house, we very also impressed by the territory itself, as it very well arranged , pools very clean and cozy, fresh towels, a bar and nice breakfast. I have read some reviews and actually was expecting something less impressive, but our room was fresh, no humidity, super clean and with a patio, so we really enjoyed our stay! Especially we liked that it was a historical property very well maintained!

Sonya greeted us with a beautiful friendly welcome! The property is lush and gorgeous with plenty of outdoor seating to sit, relax and recharge! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom was large and clean. 3 pools with one being comfortably heated. Property is far enough away to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere but close enough to get to everything within a short walking distance! I love this place and will be returning!

Staff friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was a great way to begin our day and the heated pool to end it! Walking distance to everything!

We like the layout and spacious room and closets, etc. Lighting was good and functional, with plenty of options. Location was terrific, very easy to walk into downtown, Duval etc. Public transportation was nearby. Breakfast area near the pool, bar, and outside was wonderful. Tasty breakfast, but no variety, so after three straight days of the same items, we ventured off property for a full breakfast. Fresh fruit would have been nice, but the FL ORANGES never tasted better. Pool area was terrific, three options. Unfortunately only one day out of five had sun bathing options in mid January. We picked the wrong week for sunning.

The bathroom was on the small side, and the shower door only could get half way open due to it being right up against the toilet --- obviously this was an older property design. AC was very noisy though when the fan was on, not sure if that can be changed w/o a change in units. I'm a fitness buff, so having an on-site fitness room would have made the property complete for me. I had to pay $25 per day to work out at a local gym nearby.
