For Los Angeles, where accommodation is very expensive and even harder to find if you don't have a car and need access to public transport, this accommodation was good value. It was clean and the room was quite large by European standards. There is a heater/air-conditioning and it can get a little chilly at night in Los Angeles in early November but they kindly provided me with an extra blanket.

I was a little nervous about staying here due to the neighborhood and due to the fact that it's about 10 minutes walk from the metro stop Hollywood/ Western. Los angeles has a serious homelessness problem and occasionally you do come across individuals who are obviously disturbed. However, it was not as if there were huge numbers of such people around the accommodation and so in terms of safety it was ok. The plumbing was very noisy and so if someone next door used the shower or flushed the toilet when I was asleep it was very loud. They did not clean my room while I was there but for three nights that was ok.

Perfect location - close to Hollywood Walk of Fame and Griffith's observatory, shops and café nearby. Clean accommodation, comfortable beds, working A/C, running hot water, free parking - excellent value for money.

This place met our expectations so we can't say we didn't like things. The flooring was uneven. Our room window was on the main street so it was a bit noisy but not enough to disrupt our sleep - we are deep sleepers, but if you are a light sleeper ask for a room on the other side.

location was excellent, very close to shops,walgreens and Starbuck for tea/coffee early morning etc...easy to get around for sightseeing and close to many shops. Family ran and so friendly and any requests they will try and accommodate for you, and that goes a long way when you book into accommodation miles from home

we couldnt use the bath as they didnt have a plug but it wasnt a big deal, and the economy inn suited our needs so we felt it was ok

It pretty much has everything you need. A place to lay your head, a place to shower, and convenient parking. Not to mention there's a lot of good food places that are within walking distance. It's surprisingly quiet.

Some of their stuff could be updated like their floors and some of their furniture. Not to mention if you're not familiar with LA the area, then be prepared to see a lot of homelessness. They don't really bother but it could be a culture shock if you're not familiar with California. Otherwise I wouldn't mind going back there again.

Met our expectations for an Economy Inn. Tired but clean room with large comfortable bed. Bathroom ok with no bugs. Fridge in room Quiet room for central Los Angeles within walking distance of Avenue of the Stars etc. On site car parking included.

Fridge in room had no icebox and interior fittings broken. No kettle, coffee maker or microwave.

Comfortable , clean room with all you need for a stay in LA. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and staff were helpful. It is close to major attractions, metro and buses. The area is safe after dark as long as you take the usual precautions in any city. Shops and restaurants are very close.

A kettle in the room would be nice.

Staff (who live on property) went above and beyond. This is a clean, safe, affordable option with parking, albeit tight, but well worth it since the location on sunset Blvd is ideal. They don't require a deposit which is a nice plus as well. I stay here every time I have a short trip to LA

Check-in process was easy. Plenty of lighting in the room (some rooms don't have overhead lights, only nightstand ones, but this one did). The parking lot was small but I never had a problem finding a parking spot for a Friday night. The location was great and an Uber anywhere was cheap and convenient.

Hotel room was a little older. No fan in the bathroom which caused it to fog up and condense quickly. Bed was already a little stained, but adequate.

It was a good price for the room. The staff was nice, even tho it was difficult to communicate because of the language they helped us with everything we needed and even kept our bag for us the last day so we could go sightseeing one last time. The beds were comfortable and decent size. Everything was generally clean. Overall a nice experience.

The location was a hard reality to face. The neighborhood didn't feel safe, there was a lot of homeless people around. The bed sheets were more stained than I was comfortable with, there were even some dry blood stains, not very nice. The toilet was loud when flushing but we didn't really mind.

Lovely owners, very helpful. Kept our room tidy and the price was really good for just over one week. The bed was really comfortable.

Bathroom could have done with a mirror in it and the room was a little outdated. The car park is a little small and the location is a bit dodgy. Homeless hanging around outside but to be honest that's just Hollywood!
