Staff very helpful I called them from airport asked about taxi they gave me a number to call taxi was there in about 15 minutes and price was half the price I received from taxi at airport Room very clean and comfortable

The decent size of the executive room. The interactive TV services. Room and bathroom were clean. It was cold weather and cold inside as well. However, shortly after our arrival, the room temperature got comfortable. Restaurant just on the premises. Close vicinity to Gatwick Airport. 🙂👍🏼

Noisy neighbours who were not considering the others, loud chatting on the hallway in the middle of the might and banging doors. Of course it is a matter if common sense. But in the meantime, perhaps some extra signs around the hallways to remind people they are not alone in the hotel and not everyone have the same sleep routine. 🙂

It exceeded our expectations in every way.

I was travelling with my 89 yr old grandmother, we initially booked the accessible room but I found out this can not be set as a twin room, only double. We ended up making do in a regular twin but the accessible room would have been safer and more convenient for us. It seems to me that lots of people with additional needs might travel with someone they can’t or don’t want to share a bed with . . . employed carer, friend, family. It’s took away some of the independence she has at home and I had to be more alert where I can relax more when the setting is better suited. Outside the room was all very accessible though and staff went out of their way to be helpful for us.

The room was very clean, and exactly what I would have expected. Quiet area and not hard to find using phone maps. The room service available at most times was very convenient. The parking worked well and had no issues with leaving the car for 2 days. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in the area.

The flush on the toilet was a bit temperamental. Maybe better to offer small bottles of bathroom stuff like the shower gel and shampoo etc for each customer rather than a big bottle that stays in there.

The room was comfortable, nice big bed and lovely bathroom. The staff were so lovely. We went to the wrong hotel and by the time we checked in here it was 4am or later and we requested late checkout which they allowed as they could see we were super stressed out by the time we got to the hotel. Parking was nice and easy. Clean reception area etc. Offered 24 hour room service but quite expensive for what you get.

nothing! It would be good if you could specify on the booking.com site that there are 2 different hotels with the same name because we went to the wrong one to begin with. We ordered 2 sandwiches.. each sandwich cost something like £8 or £9 - overpriced for what they were.

Impressed from the minute we walked in having used other Holiday Inn hotels. We were not heading to Gatwick but I think if we were we would book the one at Horley as it is closer ( we have done that) but for a random night away we were very impressed. The staff who greeted us were friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable with the added bonus of air con. The motorway is fairly close but with air con no windows needed to be open. Bar staff were friendly. Cannot comment on food as we ate out but the restaurant looked busy with afternoon tea being sold out.

I do ate having to pay for parking when I am not going to fly out of Gatwick.

Everything was 10 out of 10, comfortable, spotlessly, clean and very friendly and really close to Gatwick. I definitely recommend this property and I will definitely be back. It was an amazing hotel with staff that couldn’t have been more oblige to help.

Upon our return, we had a second night there and unfortunately, we were put on a floor with a really bad view of construction and the housekeepers started slamming doors at 6:30 in the morning and we had had a really long haul flight the day before and we were trying to have a sleep in since we were kindly given a late check out.

The Hotels location is perfect! It's not on the airport site so it's quiet and tranquil and about 10 mins drive to south terminal. It has a huge camera safe car park ( payable on check in) . The terrace outside the front of the hotel is lovely, particularly during our stay when the weather was plus 30 degrees. ( 19.7. 24) The only negative was the room was 27 degrees and the air-conditioning system was totally unable to cope with this. Even with both windows open we were sweltering. The restaurant food was unexpectedly good! The staff were excellent and the negative point above wouldn't put me off booking this hotel again in a heartbeat. .

Too hot in room but it was unseasonably warm 30 plus degrees. We could only get the air system down to 19 on the screen but the room remained up at 27 degrees all night even with the windows open..

Things we liked: - Reasonable price for the room - we booked the executive room (I think the upgrade came from booking.com) and paid £115 with the parking (which is £12.50 per night) - The bed was massive - either 200cmx200cm or even bigger! - Staff were excellent. Big shout to the reception staff who were somehow not tired of me asking about the wifi password again and again :) - Okay food and great cocktails (Passion fruit martini in a Holiday Inn? YEAH!) - Lovely lobby

- Obviously the design of the rooms is sooooo outdated but all was good otherwise. - No bottled water available in the rooms - It would be fab if the prices of the room had the parking included as an option

We had decided to stay overnight near Gatwick before an early flight on the first day of a school holiday. We had expected good, functional and basic accommodation but this was so much better than I'd expected. The room was spacious and well-equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the default temperature setting was perfect. Coffee and tea were provided, the toiletries and towels were very good quality, and everything worked. After an awful Friday afternoon journey to get there, we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant and this proved a real highlight. We were well looked-after and the quality of the food (from an extensive menu) was much better than average. All the staff that we met at any point were cheerful and helpful. This will almost certainly become my go-to overnight hotel for a pre-Gatwick departure. It was a short and well-signposted drive to the terminal the next morning. This hotel is just far enough away from the airport to be peaceful, but close enough to be practical. We had our own car with us, but transfers by taxi would be easily arranged.

I have a personal preference for the price of car parking to be included in the original quote. It wasn't a surprise, but two transactions rather than one would be my preference.
