Lovely Farmhouse in beautiful setting just outside of Oxford. The cottage was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Graham our host was very friendly and welcoming and gave a great recommendation for our evening meal at the Trout Inn, which was fantastic! and only 10 minutes drive. Breakfast at Hill Farm was superb.
Everything was perfect

Lovely owners, Graeme was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and great breakfast.
Bed was tiny (though it is fairly advertised as a twin/double), was quite uncomfortable for two average size adults. Comfortable mattress and pillows were great however.

We stayed here as it's convenient for The Churchill Hospital, where my wife was having treatment. Laura, our host, was very accommodating as we needed access to a freezer for our cool bag ice packs. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a decent ensuite. We only had breakfast once but it was delicious. I had the full English and my wife enjoyed the continental.
We couldn't get the towel rail in the bathroom to work and the toilet had a regular "gentle flush" noise which wasn't an issue when the door was closed. These are minor points which didn't detract from our enjoyment of the property.

Hill Farm was quite comfortable but they need to pay attention to the decor, I know it was an old property but there was a bit of damp in the bedroom and the wall paper on the ceiling was pealing off. Breakfast was in a separate building a couple of minutes from the house itself which on a wet morning wasn't great, however the breakfast was very good and the bed comfortable although it could do with new pillows. The position was a little difficult as it was on the wrong side of the ring road so you were constantly going up and down the A40 to get to the park and ride or back to the B&B.
The decor needed some attention and the walk to breakfast should be highlighted in the details.

We arrived by train & caught a taxi from Oxford station. We did not need to book a taxi as there were several at the taxi queue. It is important to give the taxi the full post code for Hill Farm to avoid any confusion. The room was presented as promised - clean with lovely amenities. The breakfast offering is fabulous - continental or full breakfast. Hill Farm recommended that we use the Peartree Park & Ride service vs trying to park in Oxford. Very good advice. When we arrived in Oxford we joined a free walking tour of Oxford through the information centre. Chris, the tour guide, was fabulous. Would recommend Hill Farm to family & friends without hesitation.

The location is superb for visiting Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Cotswolds Wildlife Park and other Cotswold attractions. The hosts are friendly. Our room was well decorated and very clean. Tea/coffee facilities were provided with biscuits which were replenished daily. The room was fairly small but had everything in it necessary for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had lots of room for storing wash/makeup bags etc. The shower was again small but did not pose a problem for us - may be different for larger guests.
Our room would have benefitted from a larger drawer unit for clothes storage as well as the wardrobe. The one provided only had 2 very shallow small drawers so we left underwear, tee shirts etc. in our suitcases. The pressure on the shower had a tendency to vary greatly, probably due to more than one guest using it at the same time - possibly due to the location. A Guest Information pack would have been useful with local restaurants etc. listed, as would a written breakfast menu (our friends had a book in their room which they discovered in a drawer a couple of days into our stay).

The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom (with good size bathwith mixer shower) was also roomy, and all was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, I had the cooked option and my wife had the continental, both of which were delicious. The breakfast is served in the pavilion of the show jumping course, just a short walk from the farmhouse or cottage, which gives a very pleasant outlook whilst having your breakfast. Athough the farm is not far from the dual carriageway you can hear no traffic noise, just the sound of nature, and the public transport into Oxford from the park and ride, (about ten minutes away) is extremely good, with very helpful drivers. We would love to highly recommend this property but feel that if we do it may mean it would be fully booked next time we want to visit. definately five stars.
As far as we are concerned there wasn't anything not to like.

Great room with stunning four poster bed. Lovely setting and friendly welcome accommodating an earlier check-in. Excellent poached eggs at breakfast.
Overall very good but just a few things to flag if being picky. Breakfast was good but is a two minute walk in a different building. Not ideal in inclement weather. Would have preferred a few self service options such as cereals with the continental breakfast. Sink in bathroom not draining well and no hand towel. Tea tray refilled but not biscuits for second night. Peacock lovely to look at but was particularly vocal on one night! Wi-fi not great. Lovely setting but road noise can be heard.

Our room was stunning and had a beautiful outlook onto a huge lawn. Very clean and tastefully decorated, with hot drinks and water provided. We enjoyed sitting out on the garden chairs. We were greeted by the Peacock! Lovely lounge diner available for our use. The breakfast was very nice and we received friendly service from the staff in the Club House. The park and ride was easily accessible and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oxford.
I didn't see the hosts during the entire stay. I would have liked to have been greeted and shown around. It was almost all self service! The shower wasn't great.

This is a little treasure! Now I dream of living on a farm again, one day was not enough. Our room was nice and very cozy, all the necessary things were in it: water, tea and coffee, hairdryer, iron and fresh linen and towels. The shower gel and soap have an amazing scent, I really liked it. Breakfast was top notch! Delicious coffee in huge mugs, fresh toast with butter and jam. Thank you very much to the whole team for your hospitality! As a bonus, we watched the horse races! It was very interesting and exciting to watch the horses and riders. And we woke up with peacock singing in the morning 🦚😍
It is a warning - if you are tall, be careful in the bathroom as the ceiling is low 😅
