I stayed two nights while visiting friends and family. Hotel offers exceptional value for the area, and the room (a budget single) was unexpectedly large! Breakfast was basic, but adequate. Private bathroom was two steps over the corridor and although a little cramped, was spotlessly clean.

The Hotel was very helpful in offering me a late check in. Unfortunately the instructions given with the room key led me to climb several flights of stairs looking for a room that was on the ground floor!

Very handy location for getting my husband to Papworth Hospital for his operation. The room was small but warm and clean with a good shower and nice fluffy towels. There was a good amount of parking at the rear. Breakfast was simple but adequate with good choice of cereals, toast, brioche buns, jams, marmalade, yoghurt and savoury selection.

A kettle in the room would have been useful as I brought coffee sachets & a flask. Managed to use the kettle in the breakfast room though so thanks for that.

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was spaceous and clean and I also had my own shower/toilet room next door. The food arrangements were very good - the "breakfast room" was available all day and night, so you could make hot drinks and heat up food in the microwave, or make toast. Bread, breakfast serials and jam were made available. The hotel is outside Cambridge, but on the bus route, though I chose to walk along the river, via Granchester.

No complaints

Stayed here while visiting a friend in Addenbrookes Hospital and so expectations were not high. The property was conveniently positioned for that purpose and all that was wanted was a bed for the night. With this in mind, it very much fitted the bill and the value for money was exceptional - a quarter of the cost of Premier Inn!

Nothing to complain about.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The privacy, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, drinking water available, and parking. The price was reasonable, the area was accessible to catch busses and taxi on reasonable time. In all I had a good stay.

After two weeks the breakfast was becoming boring the same things every morning.

Pretty basic could do with being refurbed that being said still comfortable clean and warm, staff were welcoming and helpful ,breakfast is included and self serve continental which was fine all in all for 61 pounds per night for two of us it was great value for money with easy trasnport links into the city centre only a couple of minutes walk away would we stay again? Yes the grounds are pleasent and peacful too

Staff were flexible and accomodating with check in time after my trains were delayed. The room was basic but comfortable, not luxurious, just good value for money. The breakfast was included and was, again basic but very good value. No complaints whatsoever.

I was travelling to visit Cambridge and probably didn't appreciate how far from the centre it is. It takes about an hour to walk and 30 minutes on the bus. But this isn't a criticism of the hotel, just something I should have been more aware of.

Although this lodge has a vintage theme going on ,the place was clean ,the staff were helpful both on the phone and in person and the food provided was basic but the variety covered all needs for the price and unbelievable bargain

Honestly I didn't even want to check out on my day cos I was really happy in my single room...it was so quiet and nice..lady in the reception was very warm and welcoming I felt at home..she even offered to book a taxi for me waaaw such friendly people there..I enjoyed my room so much with beautiful shower with nice warm water..I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed all of them..thanks very much for being so nice and caring...

Friendly and accommodating staff, it did it's purpose, it is what it is.. it's a nice place to stay if you need a base to stop off. It's basic, it's clean & decent, if you just need a base to stay. We are a colourful group of people of friends that stayed here, and we able to group together and chill in each others rooms, without any issues and disturbing anyone else's stay.. this was a plan B, as our 1st reservation was cancelled, last min.. but it was a good option, and did us good.. simple breakfast was included also, which was a nice option, to have. It's a great stop off, if you need something simple. Top marks from me and my group
