The staff were lovely and kind; we really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them a bit. Breakfast was brilliant -- generous portions made to order. The business is a pub and restaurant with a few rooms so we thought it might be noisy, but the rooms are in a separate building and despite being there on a Friday and Saturday night, the pub/restaurant noise wasn't troublesome at all. We *loved* the food at the restaurant and ended up eating there every night of our stay -- there was a brilliant Thai vegetarian selection. The room was cheaper than many of the other rooms on offer in/near Cambridge, but the room had everything -- there were lovely details (like nice toiletries, tea/coffee, etc.), a full bath and a comfy bed. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely!
The only tiny thing to note is that sound carried a bit from the adjoining room, so if you had noisy neighbours that could be a slight issue, but we had no problem whatsoever -- we slept well without interruption. There was next to no noise from the pub/restaurant; we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was during our stay.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Warm. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were great as well. Loved the real fires in both the bar area and the comfy room next to it.
WiFi wasn't available in the rooms only in the bar. That's fine in most cases but I was working remotely and needed to not have the distractions of a bar. Also, the television in the bedroom could've been larger.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was a lovely charming building, near to where was visiting. The proprietor , Jeremy, meet me as I arrived and introduced himself. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, nothing was to any trouble for him. He gave us advice and help. We will be going back to stay at the premises again. Highly recommend.

The inn has two rooms in an outbuilding detached from the pub, so I didn't find noise to be an issue at all. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating. Room was large and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom to match. The inn is an a quiet village outside of Cambridge, which I guess could be good or bad, depending on your tastes. There is a bus stop directly in front of the pub if you don't have a car. The hot breakfast (full english for me) was delicious and generously portioned. I would absolutely stay again.
Nitpicking, the TV was a little small, and WiFi is weak in the rooms themselves but strong in the pub (the description notes this, to be fair).

This is my 2nd stay in this place. I appreciate the good location and being able to reach most of Cambridge within 10 min. car drive. In spite of the location by the road, the room was quiet. All was clean (private bathroom) and functional (fridge, coffee/tea). It's not a 5* establishment but well worth the price. The new management introduced some positive changes inside and outside. The host was very friendly and we had very nice chats. In the morning we had a typical English breakfast. For the evening dinner, we chose various options from the Thai menu. The food was really good and inexpensive. Overall I am very happy with my stay.
Only the internet was available in the bar/restaurant and not in the rooms.

Jeremey the owner was very friendly and helpful. We were also provided a very nice cooked breakfast (didn't think this was included in the room charge!) but was very much appreciated. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of space available. Bathroom and shower was absolutely fine. The room seemed to be completely unaffected by the hot weather.
Very minor but maybe black out curtains would be better - curtains still let a bit of daylight in but otherwise absolutely fine. Could also hear the guests in the adjacent room, so could possibly do with some acoustic membrane / lining to the walls but again this was very minor and didn't bother us at all.

The whole experience was excellent. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The evening meal in the restaurant with an ingle nook fireplace with the fire lit was excellent. Thai food at its best. Quality excellent and decent size portions. Breakfast was enjoyale with eggs from the garden.

Room was in a little outside chalet and even had a fridge. Breakfast was cooked fresh and as I only had a bacon sandwich the lady was concerned and brought me fresh banana, grapes and strawberries. We drove to a wedding 31/2 mile away and left our car overnight, the host offered to drive us the next morning to pick it up but we wanted to walk. There is a small Thai restararunt on site which unfortunatley we were unable to try as there for a wedding. We would definitely stay there again.

Location, Thai restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, ensuite, beer garden, friendly pub atmosphere, fresh herb and greens garden
No complaints. A comment for consideration concerns limited wifi signsl. Was told it was only in bar area but it did just make it to my room occasionally. A plug in wifi booster placed between router and accommodation rooms may be a simple solution to get wifi to rooms.

Very convenient for our plans. Room seperate to the pub so apart from some road noise, quiet. Excellent breakfasts with good choice. Comfortable bed and good quality towels. The Inn is know for its Tai food which we shared with friends and was outstanding.
Shower pressure was low.
