Very good value for money and the location was absolutely perfect. The bus stop is literally outside the door for both the bus into the city and the return from the city. There are 3 busses (4, 34 and 44) that run every 15 minutes and only £2 each. 10 minute taxi ride from the station with cases. The room had everything we needed, absolutely spotless and the bed was so comfortable! The shared bathroom was lovely and again, absolutely spotless and huge! Sue was an amazing hostess, very friendly and super helpful. The cooked breakfast was exceptional and the continental breakfast had so much choice with super quality products and produce. Cannot recommend Badajo enough and we will definitely be back!

Sue is an amazing host and really welcoming and accomodating. She really made my stay and the comfort of her guests is her number one priority. Local transport network is good despite not being in the City centre and also don't forget the train station is just along the road which will get you to Haymarket and the west end of Princes Street. Everything is very clean, the bed is very comforatable and the the breakfast options were great. All round I was very happy and comfortable and cannot recommend Badjao highly enough.

Really nothing that i can think of. Sue will take good care of you and your needs.

It took me a little time to get used to the B&B, but I was very satisfied in the end. It's expensive but so is everything else in Edinburgh. For Edinburgh standards, it's not expensive at all. Rooms are small and comfort is very basic, but you will find everything you need and it's clean. There's a bus stop right in front of the B&B that will bring you straight to the city centre in about 15 minutes. And the hostess is absolutely lovely! If I'm ever to go back to Edinburgh, I'll definitely stay here again.

Very well located apartment right on the direct bus routes into the city. The breakfast was amazing, expertly prepared by Sue who is a great host and is very happy to stay and chat whilst she prepares breakfast your you in her kitchen. It is well organised so that those staying in the property are scheduled at different slots. Sue even made my bed and tidied the room whilst I was out. There are two nice bathrooms shared amongst the guests (I think there are 3 rooms so not much sharing really) But, bring a dressing gown because you have to walk from your room to the bathroom..its not far, only a few steps, but if you are a shy or private person you might not like this. It definitely wouldn't stop me from going back though.

If I have to pick one thing, it would be the pillows and bedding. They were freshly laundered and spotlessly clean but I think that if the pillows were a bit more full and, the bedlinen a nice crisp good quality Egyptian cotton it would have been perfect. This is purely a personal and view others may disagree with me.

Breakfast was lovely and host looked after us at all times. Asking for refills of coffee and toast at breakfast. Place was very clean and well looked after. Rooms were serviced and toiletries provided in the bathroom. Sue was kind enough to give us a spare duvet on request too. Good location and bus stop near the place. Takes 15 min to city centre.

Room did feel a little chilly as radiators were not used but nevertheless extra duvet solved the problem.

Good to find a single accommodation and not have to pay for a two person accommodation price. Close to bus stops, supermarket and fish and chips/restaurant. I was leaving very early in morning to attend show and was given fruit and biscuits to cover breakfast, where some wouldn’t bother.

Room abit warm and stuffy. Could do with fan or air conditioning. Window could open more. Lace curtain over window in summer, rather than thick curtain would help, as overlooked by over road building. Quite a steep set of stairs after entering property, I was travelling light but heavy suitcases would be a lug, with steps quite narrow and carpeted.

The one who welcomed us very well. She is wonderful, good conversational, pleasant and did everything to make us feel at home. Excellent location, room with blackout curtains, very clean bathroom, quite area. Very clean sheets and towels.

The breakfast was great. Our host was very accomodating as we needed to leave rather early in the morning. It was very clean & neat and nothing wrong with our rooms at all. They were very nice & our host was extremely nice.

The location was a bit too far away from town. Needed to get ubers, as we didn't know what the public transport was going to be like - esp at night. I didn't realise it was shared bathrooms - would have preferred to have our own. Unfortunately the accom was upstairs so again we were lugging suitcases. Parking was atrocious - it was street parking & really hard to find a space - ended up parking two blocks way. On a very general note - every place we stayed throughout UK/EU had double beds and quite soft in accomodations. Way to small for 6'+ heights.

Sue, the host was amazing, very helpful and breakfast was terrific !! The room was clean as well as the shared bathrooms. i liked being a bit away from the city center, went to many local pubs away from the other tourists..love to have a pint with the locals !

Make sure you see the 4pm check in time ! If you are really just looking for somewhere nice and clean to sleep for the night, great. You can't do much else and the 3 bed room is tight..but we made it work.
