We were treated so well from start to finish. It was a huge bonus that my husband was a Marriott Rewards member as we were given a complimentary drink on arrival and voucher to use the rooftop bar. We ate breakfast, which was decent but a fair few of the options available had run low/out and weren't replenished which isn't ideal before 10 am. We were in town for a wedding and stopped by the bar for a bucks fizz/mimosa but as they were out of glasses we were also given these on the house! Overall a comfortable, quiet room with the right amount of attentiveness. Location was perfect too! Would highly recommend

Halloween decorations everywhere. Not that I'm against the decorations but they were a little tacky rather than tasteful

Lovely atmosphere, we got a welcome cocktail, food, games etc. Really comfy bed.

Breakfast wasn't great.

Our stay was exceptional! The hotel was amazing, with super friendly staff and a great location. On the second day of our stay, we discovered that the heating system in our room wasn’t working and informed the managers. Within minutes, they offered us another room (along with help moving our belongings!) and complimentary drinks at the bar as an apology. While we didn’t end up using the drink vouchers, it was a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their efforts!

There’s only one tiny suggestion for improvement — perhaps adding a small chest of drawers and a mini fridge

The hotel was in a great location and the bus stop outside was extremely useful.the decoration was great and the employees were kind and helpful.

Now regarding the room, there were no amenities like toothpaste kits or disposable slippers etc. Additionally i did not quite understand the reason for which there was no phone in the room, we had t get downstairs every time that we needed something like an extra towel. By the way when one afternoon i went and ask fr extra small towel the receptionist told me that she will bring it her self to our room, when she arrived two big towels unfolded like there where taken straight frm the laundry arrived and of course we have not used them. Furthermore ,breakfast was not included eve-though the price was 200 e / night .

I liked the hotel it’s self and a room, and it’s location. It was easy to get to the city centre by taxi.

It was strange for me when a lady at the reception denied me the booked and paid room, in spite of the fact that we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. She couldn’t tell me when our room would be ready. I tried to explain her that we had a long trip and we were extremely tired. She asked me to wait on the side. At that time other guests could get their room’s key by their request. After 10 minutes, I decided to ask one more time the key and she gave it to me without any explanation. It looked very strange for me, why did she acted like that? The second note is the cutlery for breakfast was dirty, with food on it and some glasses had traces of lipstick.

Good location - further from the centre so it was quiet but good connections via public transport. Lovely rooftop bar, with two very dedicated bartenders who were really devoted to their craft. We didn't catch their names but a young man and a young woman served us and were wonderful. We only had breakfast on our last morning but it was delicious, as always. Bed was comfy and soft. There were useful motion sensitive lights under the bed so you could see to the toilet without waking yourself up too much. Good noise cancelling, didn't hear any neighbours. Lovely reception/bar with lots of games to play. I saw a variety of people of all ages enjoying this area (children, young couples and older groups). Really nicely decorated. Free cocktail on arrival, a punch mix drink. There is a gym but we didn't use it.

The bathroom was very compact, I've had bigger bathrooms at other Moxys. There was a male member of staff who appeared to be management working in the main seating area on multiple days we were there. Multiple times he was shouting down the phone and it made us feel uncomfortable. We didn't say anything as we were unsure who he was, but he did this multiple times. Whilst the free drink is a nice touch, it wasn't very good. May be better to have some choice at similar price points? The night before our last day, we asked at the desk what time breakfast was and they told us. The next day we came down and found out there was a different charge depending on whether it was prebooked or not. This could have been mentioned when we asked about the time.

The room, although fairly compact, was well laid out with some hangers and hooks in the bedroom. The downstairs was nice. We did not sample any breakfast, but we did buy some nuts in the upstairs bar to eat in the downstairs bar. Weirdly, these nuts were not available in the ground floor bar. (Yes, I know, they are run by different organisations.)

There was nowhere to hang damp towels to let them dry out. Hooks in the bathroom for hanging toiletry bags would be useful. The bed was noisy - I assume it has a waterproof under sheet. The upstairs bar had a strong room fragrance and high tables to the right of the entrance had stools that were much higher than the bench seating, which was very weird. Together, the fragrance and mismatched heights put us off using the bar.

Overall a good value for the price. Walkable to both the Royal Mile and the Haymarket station, and good bus connections to the whole city. The staff were consistently very helpful and friendly and took very good care of us, had excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and generally went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was of quite good quality with a large variety of foods on offer, but it's a better value for the money if you book it with your room instead of paying separately. The room overlooked a closed courtyard, and the linens, beds, pillows, gym, and other amenities were adequate and serviceable, if unremarkable. They provided a computer and printer for guest use, which ended up being very helpful in dealing with a cancelled flight. The decor is corny as can be, and the fake graffiti is just embarrassing, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience.

No laundry service available whatsoever. Really that was my only complaint, everything else was excellent. The staff did suggest a local laundry that we could walk to, but it was closed on the day we checked in and wouldn't be open at a point when we could realistically stop by. I can understand not having on-site guest laundry machines, but it hadn't occurred to me that there would be no provision for drop-off laundry in such a large hotel.

good location, helpful staff, decent breakfast and a great lobby to hang out. Rooftop bar was a bit quiet when we visited but should be a nice vibe when there's more people around

No hook for your towel in the bathroom (fix this plz). No closet so you are practically living out of your suitcase. There is construction going on next door. This is outside the powers of the hotel but it makes for a but more noise in the morning.

The atmosphere of the hotel is really nice, relaxed and energetic. An early check-in was arranged without any hick-ups. Room was spacious and the bed veeeeery comfortable. We were a bit worried about the fact that our room was on the road-facing-side, but the windows are well insulated and none of the road noise could be heard in the room. Breakfast is a bit pricey but very good and provides lots of options to choose from. Also the evening menu at the bar was good and sufficient for those "just a bit of something"-cravings.

The gym is not the comfiest one but gets the job done.
