Good location for airport, not so expensive as hotels nearby airport, old windows let the outside noise to hear cars if you have room front to the street. A bit cold overnight as the heating is switched off later at night. Nice and clean. Quadruple room.

Clean and well stocked in terms of amenities in the room and bathroom.

There was a draft coming from the window, cold air was coming from it despite being closed - it’s single glazed so no matter how much heating works the room can never keep warm.

We stayed for one night because the hotel is close to the airport. The airport bus stop is just across the street from the hotel. It is a ten minute bus ride from the hotel to the airport. We were early for our check in at the hotel. We were able to leave our bags, catch a bus outside of the hotel, and visit the city centre.

Beautiful big and airy family bedroom with an ensuite Staff were very friendly We were 15mins from the airport and 15mins from the city centre and the buses provide an excellent service We didn't have breakfast at the hotel only because we enjoyed our lie in both mornings but across the road is the fantastic Village Cafe and the service and food is excellent there We also enjoyed the Indian cuisine in the Paranha Restaurant also across the street and Tobys Carvery is also great which is just a 5mins walk further along

Everything was great.We really loved the hotel and the area

We had a very positive experience from the start. As requested we got a rear room that was more silent because it was not facing the main road which was great with our toddler. We were impressed by the amability of the staff, Adam was a great host! We arrived super early and we got the possibility to drop our bags there which made a huge difference for our day. A very positive thing for us as a family as well was th existence of a microwave near the dining area that really helped with our toddler food.

Our room had a little infiltration on the right top om the ceiling. It was merely aesthetically not pleasant but it did not impacted our experience.

The staff were so helpful, patient, and considerate. The food at breaj fast was outstanding. Immaculately clean dining area The food was plentiful, and all I asked for. The quality and presentation , taste and all of ghe breakfast was 1st class! The staff helped me with little needs I had and were quick to help me just adjust shower temp, and to see of there was another room available for md to stay another night. I loved the location. It was a quick bus ride to where I was going the next morning. The bus route and stops are just along from this hotel, and it is perfect to get back into Princes St. and other locations in Edinburgh I also was blessed to find a Gideon's Bible in the top draw next to my bed. Such a great find! I did not have my Bible with me, so this was such a blessing to have one available in my room. I was told that they have one in every room. Wonderful.

Only the cold tap did not run as quickly and easily as the hot tap. This was not an inconvenience. And when I showed on of the staff, he was straight on it to have it attended to .

Nice old school style hotel, real keys for the door and big rooms. It's old and shows some wear and tear which adds to the appeal in my view. I much prefer this to modern, cramped, multi-storey city centre type hotels. Traditional breakfast very good, continental option disappointing. 30 minute bus ride into the city centre, bus stop very close to the hotel and lots of buses until late. Given hotel prices during the festival, this is a good choice as a cheaper option out of the city centre.

The location was quite nice. The city is quite small, so it took around 20 minutes to ride to city center and there are 2 bus stops near the hotel. It is easy to get from the airport as well and also takes around 20 minutes. You can order a breakfast it is normal, at the end of our trip we discovered another hotel with Swedish breakfast, which was cheaper and better. The staff was nice and friendly Heating worked fine

The room was fine, the only thing I didn't like that the bad was 140 cm, which is quite small for 2 people and it was a little bit noisy during the night as windows are entering the main street

I had a room in the roof so sloping ceilings and a couple of big velux windows giving a nice view of the garden. Firm but comfortable bed. ensuite bathroom was fine - i would have preferred a shower to a bath with a shower over it but perfectly adequate. Kettle, tea and coffee provided. perhaps a bit mean with the tea bags but I had a few with me so not a problem. Staff were very helpful and stayed late to let me in when I was delayed arriving - thankyou for that. I needed a taxi in the morning and they arranged that for me.

Nothing really - its a good guest house and was reasonably priced so I got what I paid for. If I needed fancy I could have paid 3 X as much and gone to a fancier hotel near the city centre.
