A fantastic stay, cannot thank the staff enough for the very warm welcome, and all my needs were met. The location is great as you can jump on the tram which is 2 mins walk away and get into the city centre very cheaply. The rooms were nicely fitted and well looked after

Probably only two small things I could point out. One is the balcony door did not seem to shut or lock correctly, as the balcony area is shared this did present a small worry. And at night, as the location is near a busy road, you can still hear the hum of traffic, however I knew the location when I booked so was mostly prepared for this. Perhaps if the balcony door could be fully shut, the soundproofing would be better.

The staff were lovely, pool was lovely and warm, the best sauna and steam room I've visited recently. The bas had a good selection, a few different cocktails would be great. The room was big, shower was amazing ! .

The parking was £7 per day despite me being an ALL member ( online states it should be cheaper ) the breakfast was £19.99 per person and not the best, luke warm food, hard sausages, not the best selection overall. Our bedroom was big but no sofa bed like we'd booked, had some dirt on the walls and stained bedding, something I'm guessing housekeeping just rushed past. Beds are OK not as comfy as other budget hotels.

The bar closed at 10pm and asked to leave. Only seating available is in a cold foyer or to return your room which is unacceptable when you are with company The bar closing time was not conveyed during check in. This is ridiculous and not the standard you would expect from a 4 star hotel

Absolutely everything!!! The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for us (1 adult, 3 children). The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Especially to families woth small children and pets. The restaurant also served delicious food. Which was perfect after an 8 hour drive. The swimming pool, steam room, and gym are compact, but pack a punch. The kids and I enjoyed splashing around and relaxing after each day in the city. The tram is a stone throw away from the hotel and makes for quick, cheap travel to and from the city at only £20 for 3 days for all of us. As well as the tram. There are tesco, aldi, and home bargains across the street for anything you may need. As well as a KFC and Krispy Kreme doughnut shop. Parking is also very cheap at only £6 per day if you sign up for the membership, which is completely free. Earning you points for future stays, upgrades, etc. We will definitely be staying here again when we next venture to Edinburgh!!!

There wasn't anything to dislike!!!

Was pleasantly surprised with this 4 Star hotel. It was really good. Hotel has wonder surroundings and is about a 5 min walk to the train station. Trains are available frequently and is about 10 - 15 min ride to the heart of the city (Princes St). It has good and secure parking available . Rooms are spacious and bright. Bathrooms are neat and clean. Bed was just right. Had lovely sleep with nice pillows and no disturbance from around. Breakfast spread was nice with enough options available. Kids will be happy, as were mine. Staff were attentive and helpful. There is a KFC / Krispy Kreme / Costa just outside the hotel gate. Plus there is a Tesco & Aldi stores less than 5 minutes walk for all your needs. Will i be coming again. You sure bet, i will.

Parking is expensive. We were charged GBP 8 per night (and that too after a discount for members). Breakfast, although nice, can get repetitive if you are in for longer stays

My stay at Novotel Edinburgh Park was absolutely excellent. The location is perfect, with easy access to the main attractions of the city, which made our visit very convenient. Additionally, the price-quality ratio completely met our expectations, offering quality service at a reasonable price. I would like to make a special mention and express my gratitude to the person who welcomed us. Their kindness and attention were exceptional, and it's incredible how excellent service can truly make a stay memorable. The outstanding work of the staff who attended to us that night is also worth recognizing. Their professionalism and dedication really made a difference. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasant experience!

It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, it was such a good location right next to a massive shopping park, the pool was great, it had showers and washing facilities in the changing rooms which hair dryers, the lift from the pool went straight up to your room so there was no need to get changed you could just go up in your towel, it hand shampoo, body wash, hand wash and body lotion in the hotel room so no need to bring your own toiletries, the tv was very big and you could connect your phone to it so you can watch your own Netflix, Disney + ect and even play Spotify. The location was good because the tram stop was right outside the hotel so it was easy to get into the city centre, it only took us half an hour to come from the train station, and if your flying to Edinburgh even better as the airport is so close. The beds were clean and the bedding got changed every day, it was very comfortable, the fridge was very use full too as we could buy drinks and store them in there. It was that good we have booked to come back in February

The only issues we had were, I paid on booking.com and when I arrived they asked for a payment as it wasn’t showing up, also when we checked out they asked for a payment too, I showed them my confirmation email afterwards and it was all sorted, my advice would be to keep the payment confirmation emails just incase, unfortunately the heating or air con didn’t work in our room too, and the toilet was difficult to flush you had to hold the button in for 30 seconds I’m not sure if they are meant to be like that or ours didn’t work but other than that it was great

Amazing experience, friendly staff and great facilities

Excellent breakfast plenty of choice My wife and I stayed at the Novotel Edinburgh park on the 18th and 19th of April First mention for the reception staff who were on top of their game both friendly and extremely efficient, booking in was faultless our room was ready for us early as we were going to an afternoon show in Edinburgh Restaurant was good value and once again the friendliness of the staff was an added bonus, nothing was too much trouble The swimming pool,sauna and steam room were an added bonus Room was spotless and again the staff made every effort to fulfill our needs for extra coffee etc Would we use this hotel again? Most certainly, the staff were exemplary and the Tram into the city centre a 3 minute stroll from the reception

The reception staff were lovely and helpful when we arrived, and the room was very nice and the bed was so comfy! The shower was great as well.

When we booked our room, the photos for our specific room showed that it had a bath, which we were very excited for and were prepared to have. We were quite disappointed that when we arrived that was not the case. Also, the staff in the bar area were quite rude, didn’t acknowledge we were waiting to order for about 5 minutes even though they saw us waiting at the counter, then took about 15 minutes to make two drinks when the bar was not busy. Normally I would not be bothered about how long it can take for service as I realise there can be lots going on behind the scenes for things to be delayed, but there was no communication with us about this and their standoff attitude wasn’t very welcoming.
