The property was very easy to find ,it is directly opposite Murrayfield Stadium and located on a main thoroughfare with very visible signage.Parking spaces were provided in the front of the property . Ideal place to relax after a journey or during your stay and have refreshments .A good choice of beers are available on tap and the food on the menu is made with the highest quality ingredients.Kieran & Jack provided great service during my visit and they were very knowledgeable of the local area and provided accurate information.of amenities that were available and transport into the city centre which is just a short bus ride away .The breakfast was great and it is more than enough to get you through to dinner time. I would definitely recommend the Hampton Inn and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Kieran & Jack for providing an excellent service.

There is nothing that I disliked about this property .

Staying in room #1 above a quaint bar and restaurant was like a step back in time. My room overlooked the back and I didnt hear any noises from below. Being a mile from the Haymarket station was a nice walk. The airport shuttle bus has a stop very close so this is a great option for those early flights. The restaurant and bar are nice and very convenient. Deffinitely worth paying for breakfast there since no other options seemed close. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom was efficirnt and the biggest bath towels Ive ever seen. Bed was comfortable.

Room #1 was very warm. In fact, the window was up a bit when i arrived and I never shut it.

comfy bed in a small room which along with the ensuite is beginning to look a little tired. kettle, iron and small tv in the room. good restaurant and bar downstairs. bus stop nearby to get into the centre

there are only 6 parking places for patrons. 3 of these are marked for use of electric vehicles only not a single electric car in site and these spaces were empty the whole time. if I'm being fair these spaces were probably given to an external company to put on the chargers. however had i not gotten parked i would have ignored the signs

Good from start to finish got the soup and bread wen arrived as we where cold and it done the trick room clean and tidy booked some Amazing places to vist and was good as bus stop 2 mins walk also shop 5 min walk very handy 😀 room clean and tidy bed very comfy had one drink in bar people seemed friendly had music on but having room above bar didn't hear it in our room so 10 out a 10 from us

Light shades above bed could have done with a we feather dust but nothing to worry about 🫠

We originally didn’t book for breakfast as we thought we’d end up out and about but decided to go for it, and we’re so glad we did! The “build your breakfast” option was great and meant we didn’t waste anything. It was really well cooked and you could tell everything was freshly made. Also, the staff were lovely, and helpful with directions. It helped when it started raining for our zoo trip and they lent us an umbrella for the day! We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night of our stay and the food was really lovely. Definitely worth the price. The room was delightful, lovely size for two people and kept nice and warm in the winter month. We would definitely stay here again.

The ambiance of the bar A place where you wanted to spend time relaxing with a drink Staff were very friendly and were so helpful advising us times and numbers of buses to take us into town which was much appreciated Room was very comfortable and quiet during the night Location was very good if you want a quiet stay away from city centre Breakfast was excellent

Shower and extractor fan were extremely noisy Decor could do with an upgrade but otherwise the room was very comfortable

Parking on site is limited but we were ok. Breakfast is cooked to order and was very good, as was the meal we had on arrival. Great location 5 mins from town by bus (loads of them) over the road from Murrayfield Stadium. Staff friendly and helpful. Good shower. Iron and ironing board provided.

Rooms need a makeover. The furniture is a bit shabby and close to falling apart. Not many 3 pin plugs, girlfriend had to use an extension cable we were given ( the wired in kettle didn't work.) to dry her hair in the bathroom as this was the only mirror she could use. Overall it needs a renovation, but if its full of drunken rugby trips on a regular basis I can see why it wouldn't be a top priority.

Great place to stay, very close to Murrayfield Stadium. Easily accessible to the town centre and airport by bus. Super friendly staff who care about their customers having a good stay with good recommendations off things to do and see around Edinburgh. The breakfast and restaurant food were top notch. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I’ll definitely choose Hampton Hotel by Greene Kings Inn again when I return to Edinburgh.

I had no issues at all with the property during my stay.

Clean beautiful inn, great location with parking. Easy straightforward walk into main attraction 's or you can catch choice of buses outside which run a every 10 mind into city centre including night buses. The breakfast were fab made fresh to order. Evening meals in resteraunt were lovely which shows as a mix of locals are there every night too. Staff where friendly and welcoming.

Leaving Edinburgh

Location, straight forward walk/bus into city. Shower. Breakfast and fabulous hosts. In room 4, view across road to Murrayfield stadium, which Nissan a 2min walk.

Shower tray filled in no time, spilling over onto floor. Mentioned to staff, they were unaware, sorted in no time. Drawers, in room 4, need a bit of basic d.iy. one between bed needs some wood glue to hold front on. Others on main one don't stay in, just slide out on their own.
