The whole place is spotless. A lot of attention is paid to the details. It's located less then 10 mins walk from the towns main street. The bedroom was big, as was the bathroom. The bed clothes were changed every day, unless you asked them not to. The shower was powerful. There was a nice big TV with free to air channels for the rainy days. The host was welcoming and helpful. WIFI was good. There was a tiny fridge in the room which is always handy. All in all, a lovely comfortable room.

Despite the guesthouse being a pretty new construction. There is almost no soundproofing between the rooms and the outside. If you are on the second floor, like I was. You can hear footsteps above you, conversations beside you and snoring at night. Plus road traffic if you are at the front. There are signs asking for no noise to be made between 11pm and 8am. Which to be fair on my stay, people were. But you can't stop snoring. So if you are a light sleeper, another place might suit you better. Or wear ear plugs. It's a shame, as in every other way, this is an superb place to stay.

Spacious ground floor modern laid out room in an older building with a great ensuite with n main road into Fort William. Tea and Coffee making essentials including sachets of Oat Milk if desired. A communal cart in the main foyer had wine glasses, larger drinking glasses, replenishment for tea/coffee making and wooden disposal knives, forks and spoons. If you are wanting to take Jacobite train literally 320 steps to platform. Also walking distance to the High Street with so many restaurants and breakfast cafes ( including one at the railway station). An Tesco Express also nearby. Off main road carpark with heaps of spaces.

The walls, ceiling and main door to the room paper thin as you could hear neighbours talking, snoring walking around.

Location was brilliant for our needs, very close to the train station. Brandy welcomed us when we arrived, and she was really friendly and helpful. The tips for our sightseeing day were appreciated, though in fact we had time to walk under the Glenfinnan Viaduct and up the other side, to have the best view of the Jacobite crossing it. We took Brandy's recommendation to take the coastal route (B8008) to Mallaig, though, and that was a really good tip. The room was a decent size and comfortable if a little warm, but opening windows a bit and/or using the fan provided sorted that. There's a good smart TV with buttons for Amazon Prime and Netflix as well. Tghe bathroom is a good size, with a powerful shower and good towels.

The mattress was a little soft for our taste, but that's a matter of personal preference, not a criticism. Be aware this is room only, no breakfast is provided - again, not a criticism, this was perfectly clear when we booked.

Before booking I contacted the guest house to ask if we could park our car in their car park a few hours before check in. They were very obliging and said we could which was great as we were travelling on the Jacobite Express and parking near the station is difficult. The location of the guest house was very central which was ideal. Our room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The bed was a superking and extremely comfortable.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that 'soundproofing' was highligted as a plus point. We could hear the guests next door drawing their curtains, the children upstairs running around early in the morning and someone's TV. Everyone accepts that there will be noise when you stay in a hotel, so perhaps the good soundproofing promised was better not to be highlighted. I also felt at £135 per night without breakfast it was fairly expensive.

Excellent location. Car parking and check in were easy. Staff is lovely. The room was sparkling clean as was the bathroom. The room and bathroom were also quite large and comfortable. Mini fridge was a nice touch.

Bring earplugs. We could hear everything being said in the room above us and heard every step and pee they took! We had a room facing the street- some ambient noise but that was less noticeable than the noise above us. We put ear plugs in and slept fine.

Great place to stay if you are passing through. The room was spacious enough for all our luggage but no elevators obviously because it’s a house none the less it had cute decor with the highland cows all over. Brandy was there to greet us when we arrived. Great location, walking distance to some restaurants. They have parking which is a plus! Would stay here again.

Not a deal breaker but because we are from the US I wish they had a hair dryer. Again not a deal breaker!

It was very clean and nicely presented. The bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean, spacious and modern. The shower had very good water pressure. The small bar fridge was handy. Also we asked Brandy if she could keep a bag of our refrigeratoratables in her fridge overnight and she was willing to do this for us.

The noise insulation between the rooms was very bad. We could here other guests walking around their room above us and talking beside us. We were woken during the night by the loud flushing of the adjoining rooms toilets.

This property is exceptionally clean and easily accessible. you can walk across the street to catch the train, and the local shops, restaurants and pubs are lovely.

we really loved everything. The only thing we’re biting, but I think it applies generally to everywhere we’ve been staying, is managing the temperature. The room and bath are heated comfortably but we think the weather this past week has been unusually warm (from what we’re hearing) so being able to use a fan, cool air, etc would be helpful. our room does have an overhead fan so we were content; I would just advise travelers to be flexible with managing heating and air conditioning that might be different than what they’re used to :) (pack warm weather pajamas AND cool weather pajamas!)

We stayed in the luxury suite which was perfect for our family of 4 (two kids, 5 and 7). I'm not sure if we booked that suite or if it was just the family room option--either way, it was great. There room was really spacious. There was one large bed (maybe a king) and two twin beds divided by a half wall. The bathroom was gorgeous and had a big jacuzzi tub (even though the jets did not work, it was really nice). Upon check in the owner was really nice and friendly and had great suggestions for dinner and a hike to do the following day. We were only there one night, but we were very pleased with the accommodation.

We liked everything. The kids might have complained that the walk to the main street in town where the restaurants were was far, but it really wasn't a long walk.

The property’s warm and inviting ambience, comfortable amenities, and friendly staff stood out as highlights of the stay.

The walls might be thin ..possible to hear conversations from next room. Despite this, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make it a charming choice for accommodation.
