Location not far from the airport, the facilities, late night access, the comfort...

The price of the taxi from and to the airport which made the stay prohibitively expensive, but that is not the fault of the hotel. If I had a car it would make sense or if the hotel and other hotels in the area got together and organised a shuttle for a reasonable price, it would make a lot of sense.

The place is very cozy, they packed the place with anything you might need, there were a lot of useful extras, had a small problem and they solved it immediately, price was really good, room was full of informations with everything you might need.

Didn't received the email with the self check-in instructions so had to call, but they helped me immediately. The shower had a noisy leak (intermittent, coming from the wide dish-like nozzle on the roof) that disrupted my sleep. Room Aqua.

Communication, check-in and overall stay went really well. The breakfast in the fridge was nicely planned and coffee, tea and water waiting for us were really delightful. The bathroom was just lovely as well as the general design of the room.

The house is so cute but due to the pretty old and dirty carpets the overall feeling was a bit untidy. Unfortunately the nearby road was also very loud and the garden a bit abandoned - wasn't quite as idyllic as in the pictures.

Fantastic location close to Stanstead airport. Lovely rustic setting in tranquil garden able to leave car for duration of holiday fantastic sole use roll top bathroom in a period property. Owner exceptionally helpful left us a wonderful selection of vegan friendly continental breakfast items.

Could not fault at all. Homely setting where owner lives in a separate part of building if you are looking for the usual commercial feeling of a travel lodge type accommodation this is not the setting for you.

Very nice accomodation - large beautiful room with comfy beds and a sofa. The self check in process was very easy and convenient, so we had no problems despite our delayed flight and late arrival. Contact with the owner is great - we had many last minute questions and requests (including a change in the time of arrival due to the delay) . Very convenient location close to Stansted airport. The staff was very nice, helpful and understanding - they modified my breakfast upon request to meet my dietery requirements. Breakfast itself was great - fresh and ready waiting for us in a little fridge in our room. The Nespresso coffee maker is a nice touch, and there is also a kettle and instant coffee / tea.

Everything was perfect!

The host was very helpful and have complementary water tea and coffee. Also very close to the airport.

The bathroom although it was for our sole use still you have to go out of the room ,also although the bathroom was big it wasn't comfortable because there is only a bath which is to high to enter. Regarding the breakfast it was good and plenty but there is no table so you can only have breakfast on the bed .

Great place. Breakfast was nice to have in the room ready for us. The owners were great and answered all questions quickly via email or in person.

It is an older house, but very clean. It didn't bother us at all but may not be some peoples' "cup of tea". The doors in the house are very low (and I am very tall), but after getting into the bathroom, I fit in the shower :) The taxi/uber from the airport to the B and B was 25-30 euros FYI

Room was comfortable with mentioned items- fridge, toiletries, robes, coffee machine and toaster. Lovely jet shower. Quiet surroundings. Good WiFi connection. Lovely pub down the road.

Accommodation is on the main road, but the road doesn't have many lights at night and is very dark in parts. Entry was self check in so felt more like an airbnb. Breakfast needed to be prebooked for my room but had a lovely breakfast at a place called The Coffee Shop. TV reception was interment but managed to get it working on one channel.

Arrived at 11.30pm and had to leave at 5am, and the owners were so accommodating so checking in and out was very easy even at such early hours. The room also surpassed my expectations and was really lovely! Location was great for the airport too, I walked to Stanstead in 40 mins which was great as meant not having to rely on a taxi.

The walk had no streetlights for some of the way so wouldn't do it in middle of night, but after dawn was okay.

Close to the venue we were visiting so very handy and it was in a nice location , very quiet easy access into the property and it was nice that we could get in before the standard booking time as we arrived earlier than expected

The room was okay but could do with a little modernising , I know it's a period building but the carpet could do with replacing in the room we stayed but all in all it was lovely
