What a great find! A lovely small hotel with comfy, very clean rooms and a great choice for breakfast. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

I LOVED the bed. The most comfy hotel bed I've ever slept on, and I've stayed at £500 a night hotels. The receptionist was very nice and friendly and gave me local information. The shower! Fantastic shower and products left in the room. Cleanliness, tea/coffee offerings, free WiFi.

The white curtain over the little window. Let too much light through. Personally, I'd change it to a grey or darker colour. My rooms need to be blacked out when I sleep. So, despite the bed being like a fluffy hug, the glow through the curtain actually disturbed my sleep. Which is a shame.

We really loved our stay at the Heathmont. Beds were super comfy and made me not want to leave. Awesome bathrooms with electronic shower controls and lighting. Location is near High Street making it easy to swing into Inverness for the night. Bar staff was super friendly and accommodating. Good food and drinks too. Everything was very clean and the rooms smelled pleasant.

The location of the hotel parking lot is in the middle of a 5 way intersection making getting in and out a bit of a hassle. There were no elevators that I found making hauling bags a bit of a chore. The view in our particular room was a bit meh but mostly because the window was so small. Honestly none of these items annoyed me all that much aside from the parking.

What a super small hotel the room was large modern in style and tastefully decorated the bathroom was large and well appointed great bath and huge rain shower nice toiletries. In a quiet location but only a few minutes walk to the centre and tourist attractions. The staff were very welcoming helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and a variety of choices. We had dinner there also and this was very good interesting menu very tasty food good service at a reasonable price. The bar/restaurant areas are bright and airy modern but not impersonal again all staff excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel

While the design was somewhat quirky, everything was comfortably large and cozy. There was ample storage in the room and multiple heating sources so the temperature was just as we liked, including heated towel racks. Bar and restaurant served adequate food when we didn’t feel like going out, and the staff was beyond friendly and excellent. Location was on a hill above where most of the sites are, with an easy walk down. The neighborhood was charming. Mostly Victorian. I consider this a little gem.

There is no lift so caring luggage up could be a struggle. However, the staff cheerfully helped us.

The room was gorgeous! We only stayed for one night, but we wished we were able to stay longer. We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and each was very good. The dining area is lovely, with great atmosphere.

The only exception to this great review was the stairs, as it's difficult to get up and down stairs with heavy luggage. However, I understand that the hotel is old and putting in an elevator is likely not feasible. My suggestion would be that hotel staff offer to help you with your luggage upon check-in and check-out.

The hotel was recently and tastefully updated. In addition, our room and bathroom was very spacious and our bed was clean, crisp and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite and seemed to genuinely care that we were happy and had a great experience. The food and service in the restaurant was also excellent. The Heathmount is a short walk from the main shopping street with lots of stores for all tastes and needs. I have no hesitation in recommending The Heathmount and would definitely stay again if returning to Inverness.

We were upgraded to a different room upon arrival, which never hurts 😅 I was traveling with my dog; the fee for her stay was very reasonable at £10 pounds. The hotel also offered free parking (the only one during this trip). The bed was very comfortable. The room (#1) was fairly spacious with a small desk, and a nice view onto the street. It was clean, and the bathroom was quite nice as well. There is a small coffee shop across the street that has great espresso and paninis. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from High St, and conveniently located near some great coffee shops.

You have to get a token to exit the parking lot, and the machine isn't very conveniently located but it really was a fairly minor thing. Nothing to report really.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They took time to help us out a great deal.when they did not have to and it was greatly appreciated.

Be very careful when booking rooms. Read the room description thoroughly. I am 6'9 and my partner is 6'. The ceiling is very low in the rooms on the top floor and made it very uncomfortable. The booking.com ad does mention this but you have to go searching and isn't something you would usually think would be an issue.

bsolutely Loved Our recent stay at this Immaculate, Cosy, Stylish and Very Friendly Hotel. We along with our small dog were Warmly Welcomed after a very long drive from Liverpool. Our Room (No3) was ready and had the Wow Factor, we found it incredibly Snuggly, Warm, Cosy, Tasteful decor, very comfortable decent sized bed, Immaculately Clean, Very Quiet even tho by a road that was busy at times. Breakfast was lovely, I ordered the Vegetarian, plenty to keep you going for hours, including coffee, juices, toast - Perfect ! The staff were the friendliest we’ve met on our many travels, especially one of the Housekeepers who made a huge fuss of our dog Luna and the Chef that made Luna her own sausage for breakfast. Nothing was ever too much trouble - a huge Credit to the Owners / Management for their Happy Helpful Team. The Hotel is located in a lovely quieter part of Inverness but still just a very short and easy walk into a bustling but not over busy town centre while Our car enjoyed Free parking on the Hotel’s small Car Park directly outside. We cannot fault anything about this Hotel, we would happily stay over & again and recommend to everyone who is looking for a hotel with a 5* experience without a 5* price tag … Thank You for making our first adventure to Scotland memorable for All the Right reasons x
