Very welcoming reception, a very friendly and helpful place to stay, we had a meal with friends on the night and the food was excellent, you won't be dissapointed, I overheard the owner explaining to a member of staff about the shopping she had purchased for a group of cyclists who were going to arrive too late to purchase some provisions, she had went above and beyond to get these provisions for them arriving, not many people would've done this for complete strangers, a really kind thought from lovely people, I'd highly recommend staying here 5* service, thank you for a great stay.
There was nothing to dislike!

Spent one night here recently. Super friendly staff in both the hotel and the bistro restaurant. Great location in the centre of quiet Killin. The property looks as though it has been recently renovated and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We booked dinner in the bistro - advisable to book in advance as it’s popular - and had breakfast. Both meals were great. There is a bar in the property which seems very popular with locals and guests and has some outdoor seating. Easy to walk anywhere in Killin from property.
Nothing major. It was a Saturday night and the bar was pretty noisy - it may have been a special occasion. But it didn’t stop us getting to sleep.

We liked the location in the middle of the village. The owners and staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Both our rooms were clean, comfy beds and had plenty of tea & coffee. The bathroom had lovely toiletries and plenty of hot water with nice clean towels. All our meals were amazing. The hotel also catered for our 2 Scottie dogs. Parking was in front of the hotel. We will definitely be staying again and would recommend it as a hotel in Killin.
Absolutely nothing!

The room on the top floor ( Fingal's Rest) was small but well decorated & perfectly ok for a couple of nights stay. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts had kindly put out two bottles of water in addition to the tea/coffee etc facilities. The shower was excellent and enough toiletries for our 1 night were provided. The location is lovely
Not exactly a dislike but the radiator was blasting out heat, which resulted in an extremely warm room. I had to turn it off in order to remain comfortable overnight as the duvet was super warm!

Welcoming, friendly and kind hosts. We chose the hotel to celebrate my birthday and the owner and staff wished me happy birthday when I arrived and put a birthday banner up above my table in the restaurant which was a lovely touch when we went for dinner. The hosts upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. Great atmosphere in the bar and even handed out free pies to all during the rugby. Really nice touches. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Definitely the best place to stay in Killin.

Beautiful room, exceptionally clean!!! Bedding was so comfy, the pillows were my fave. The bath was amazing, roll top, claw footed bath made me happy. Food was fresh and delicious
I loved all the natural light from the huge windows however, some type of privacy screen (net curtains perhaps?) would be nice as the houses across look straight in. This didn't affect our stay and if I could afford to, I'd stay every weekend 🤣

Beautiful area of Scotland, surrounded by mountains. Saw many hikers enjoying their time here. Lovely little inn with a nice size room, comfortable bed and good shower. Bonus chocolates in room were a nice touch. Downstairs is a lovely pub full of folk enjoying life, but quieted down nicely as the evening went on. We booked dinner at their restaurant too and it was very good, and hopping! Included breakfast which was well prepared and kindly served.

We all absolutely loved the Courie Inn! The owners and staff couldn't do enough for us, were really friendly and the place certainly lived up to its name. The kids slept in bunks and we had a double and we all slept like logs. We were travelling across Scotland and were running out of clothes and they agreed to do a wash for us. Beautifully decorated rooms, a stunning bathroom complete with rolltop bath and lots of towels. It was just lovely to wake up to that mountain view followed by a superb cooked breakfast! Fantastic hosts, excellent restaurant - a real old fashioned Scottish welcome.
Really can't think of anything except we wished we'd stayed longer!

We arrived well after the last check in time (8pm - hadn't spotted that when we booked). I always forget how early things close in Scotland. Thankfully we'd called in advance and they were able to accomodate us. The room was very comfortable, but a bit on the small side to qualify as real 'luxury'. Breakfast was good. We were off almost before we arrived!
Nothing significant

The Courie Inn is a real gem in the heart of the Southern Highlands. The hotel is well appointed and has an excellent bar and restaurant. The staff were lovely and the restaurant meals were superb. I found the full cooked Scottish breakfast an ideal start to a good day in the mountains. I shall certainly return.
