First of all, the location is perfect, for motorists as well as for train (me) or coach users. Quite high quality hotel, but I found the rate slightly too high ; of course, it was summertime, when rates are on the high side everywhere ! By booking directly with the hotel, and could perhaps have got a slightly better rate than via booking.com, but I have been lazy .... As far as the restaurant is concerned, I went there for dinner as well as for breakfast, and it was OK in both cases. Highly recommendable !
Nothing, really ; expect the rain, butthis is Scotland, isn't it ?

Great experience here as part of our west highland way. We were running a little late with our walk having trekked all the way from drymen. We were really hoping for an evening meal and phoned ahead to keep the hotel updated with an arrival time. With food due to stop being served at 9 and our arrival time slowly heading towards 10pm. They held off cooking our food as late as possible and it was still warm when we arrived. Very friendly and polite staff on arrival, the bar and for breakfast in the morning. Great experience. Thank you

Peaceful and relaxing location. Great views from front window. Stairs and lift were very good. There was a drop off area at the front of reception which is very handy. Very good transport links with station nearby and intercity bus stop outside.
Parking was on the opposite side of the main road which was not a problem for us but it could have been an issue for drivers with mobility problems. The drop off point could have accommodated disabled parking but was used for general parking by some drivers.

Warm welcome , traditional Scottish decor , stuffed animals and antlers , tartan carpets etc but warm and modern as well. Breakfast offered a good mix and salmon and scrambled eggs excellent. Ate in restaurant on one night and it was very good- well presented Scottish food at very reasonable cost. I didn't bring a dog but hotel seemed to be genuinely dog friendly to those who did. .
Wifi very slow, but apparently due an upgrade. Otherwise no faults.

Hotel was perfect location for adventuring with my husband and our 1 year old labrador. Lovely view from our room and we did alot of walking nearby. Had dinner in the restaurant and food was perfect and good big portions! Breakfast the next morning was also fabulous! Piper our dog was spoiled rotten with staff giving her lots of attention and sausages! Will stay again.
A bit of a bigger room would have been great for all our stuff but nothing to complain about at all

A classy establishment, furnished to a high standard, with classic upmarket provision like a busy bar, candles on the tables, plenty of food options cooked to a high standard. Outstanding shower, very comfortable bed, quiet and peaceful, yet located at a popular spot in the village of Crianlarich. Very helpful staff, well-organised, friendly and accommodating - a place to feel welcome. Expensive, but, if the wifi is sorted out, it's a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Breakfast particularly well-organised and flexible.
Wifi is hopeless and no 4G signal; walked up to the station for 4G! TV also pretty hopeless - couldn't sort aspect ratio out, and was plagued with messages about satellite TV system needing upgrading.

Friendly staff, nice food, window actually mostly blocked out road noise which is almost unheard of in hotels I've stayed at! Shower was good -- decent pressure and plenty warm enough.
The wifi was hit and miss -- I could stream video while simultaneously be unable to search the internet. Once something was connected, that page generally worked OK on that device. Very unusual. Decor is quite passable but is getting a bit tired in places, and floors are a little creaky.

My husband and I stayed for one night on route to Glencoe. We stayed in a superior king room. The room was big and comfortable. We had a good restful night sleep. We also had dinner at the restaurant and used the bar. Service was of a good standard. Breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh on order. There is also a car charging point at the hotel which was a bonus. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

A hotel we visited many years ago has clearly been transformed by a modern extension with good rooms and dining room. The menu was varied with local produce and GF options. Staff were very friendly. A lift to upper floors was appreciated. The location was perfect for an overnight stop on the way to the Oban ferry terminal.
The gluten free steak pie came without pastry - one sure way of ensuring no gluten!

Location was perfect for trains and West Highland Way. Characteristic and comfy hotel. A very dog friendly place. Complimentary breakfast sausage for our dog, daily delivered by super friendly hotel staff. Nice Scottish breakfast with vegan breakfast options as well.
Wifi signal was very poor throughout the hotel. Dinner and breakfast plates were a bit small. Loud noise of ventilators in our room all day (but was turned off at night).
