staff were very friendly and food in the restaurant was excellent. we also were given some toiletries and a snack and drink for our little girl which was a wonderful touch. never had that before.

we had to pay £10 per person to use the spa facilities for the day and children were not allowed for most of it so only one of us could go at a time.

The food and staff were brilliant. Rooms are nice, bathroom could do with updating.

You had to pay £10 to use the spa if you book with booking.com which should have been stated when I booked it.

Front of house and restaurant were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and maintained to a good standard. The food was to a good standard. I liked how the pool was divided into two for swimmers and an area for families to play. The swimming pool area was pleasant and changing room clean with good facilities. My children loved the welcome pack on arriving into the room which was beautifully presented. . The stay over all was good and I would go back.

Not much variety for vegan and gluten free guests. I managed to find one thing for dinner on their specials, and they had to adapt something on the menu for breakfast. We were in a family room and my son and daughter complained of feeling springs comic up through their mattress on the bed settee and so didn't have a great sleep. My children were excited that they had dressing gowns and slippers, however we soon found out they were to small for them to use which they found disappointing. The ages of my children were given on the initial booking.

Our experience , the room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The TV was a large screen and worked. The swimming pool fascilities were great. The staff were lovely The chef did accomodate my dietry needs, as I am dairy free. The meal we did get was very nice and well presented.This actually made it for me. Therefore we would come back and stay again. A bit of luxury. Biggest issue we had was finding the hotel. Sat nav sent us all over the place. Need to review the postcode.

For the price we paid for 2 nights accom breakfast should have been included.. The menu at the restaurant and bar menu were very similar and very pricey.

The beds were super comfortable! I booked a weekend away for Mothers day with my mum, with twin beds and it was fantastic! We had a couple dietary requirements which the staff adhered to (GF biscuits & Oat milk) and made everything so smooth. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always within reach. The pool facilities were the main reason for the visit, the price was very reasonable and it had everything we wanted. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the meals looked fantastic. Such a great location to hop into Altrincham for the market and an easy tram ride away to get to Manchester. We'll definitely be back in the future!

No faults!

Staff were incredibly attentive. The staff really made the hotel experience! Also there were lovely extra touches that made a fuss of the children... mini bath robes and slippers, choc dips in the room for them, etc. And the pool was fabulous for families!

Food was ok, but not great. I had fish and chips... the fish was beautiful but the batter was thick and nearly twice the size and weight of the fish. Room service chips were over cooked, ok to eat, and not bad enough to complain, but a bit disappointing when everything else was so spot on. And breakfast omelette was very underwhelming. The full English was good though!

Good facilities. Comfy beds. Nice bathroom. Very good spa facilities. Almost all of the staff we met were very friendly, polite and helpful.

Breakfast was poor. We were not asked to book a time then we were told that they couldn’t seat us for an hour and a half. The food was cold and not cooked well. The hostess was not very friendly or welcoming but all of the other staff were fantastic and super helpful. My wife and I booked a massage - she loved hers and was really taken care of, mine was rushed and the masseuse just seemed to be going through the motions so she could get finished.

Our room was lovely - very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. There was a mark on the carpet near one of the bedside tables which wasn't very sightly, but everything else was lovely. The spa was fab, (thanks to the super-friendly Phil for his warm welcome!) and the breakfast delicious, served once again by lovely friendly people.

There really wasn't anything to dislike, except for the mark on the carpet as mentioned above.

Can never reach reception by phone - they never pick up. Tried to order room service and ended up having to walk down myself. This is the fourth time this has happened. Room cleanliness was a lot better than the previous trips where there was extensive mould in the bathrooms, but still could be improved. One of the saucers in the room was covered in brown filth. However, overall loads better than in previous years.
