The room had everything you needed,kept lovely and warm. The staff were so welcoming and helpful in both hotel and restaurant, food great and great value.

Pillows we're a little too firm for me but nothing you couldn't deal with, the noise from the event on at the venue was OK as we expected is we were informed a few days prior to arrival event was happening, as our room was directly above the doors lots of loud people smoking right below our room till midnight, couldn't of opened windows even is we had wanted to. But with that said second night was really quiet so it was all good.

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice and friendly staff.

The staff were lovely and friendly, apart from the first person I spoke to at the bar to make my food order on the first night. He was very grumpy, no eye contact or smile and didn’t make me feel very comfortable or welcome. Not at all like all the other staff I met subsequently, which was a relief, as they were great. First impressions do count and after a 6 hour drive it would have made all the difference to be made welcome when ordering food at the bar. Otherwise, everyone else was fantastic.

On arrival, greeted by a very cheerful, personable and efficient receptionist (named Alice). She kindly obliged by storing some gift cheese items in the fridge overnight for me. When I went to my room, the soap dispenser had fallen off the wall, into the bath and was broken as a result. When I explained to her what I had found, within a very short time she arrived in my room with the maintenance man and a new dispenser was promptly and efficiently fixed back on to the wall. She also supplied me with extra coffee sachets as I like strong coffee. Her whole demeanour was one of being a good communicator, efficient, pleasant and cheerful. She deserves to do well in her hospitality career! The room and facilities were ideal for my one night stay. Parking was also plentiful.

Some road signage to aid drivers to locate the hotel more easily would be of great assistance.

On arrival at reception we was met by Lewis whom was very friendly, checking in was a breeze and was given information about the the hotel, eating, drinking including contacting staff if any problems, we had arrived early evening as we had been to truckfest at the showground that day and enquired about getting food Lewis explained that they were quite busy, explained that when we were ready to eat to come down and he would sort a table for us. Lewis kept his word and we were sat down eating within 30 minutes of arriving at the venue. The family room was lovely, very spacious and clean, the beds beds really comfy and plenty of pillows 😁. I would definitely recommend staying here and this will be our go to stop-over when we come back for truckfest next year.

I visited with my youngest daughter who likes to take up a lot of space when co-sleeping so I asked for a room with a queen bed. I ended up with a room with a super king-size bed and an extra single put-up bed all made up separately for her to sleep in. It was heaven! this is the second year in a row we have stayed and every time the staff have been exceptional! Seeing Bluey at breakfast was just the icing on the cake for my daughter!

Great location for Lincoln with a bonus of connecting train into the city a few minutes away with free car park 😃 Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was good with comfy beds and the food was great value for both evening meals and breakfast with a good selection and atmosphere. I will certainly recommend this place to others.

The corridor carpet was a little threadbare in places and our shower head was abit old

The staff were warm and welcoming and provided the extras I needed to ask for due to my disability. The bed, wow, so comfortable. The bathroom we had been told wasn't fully accessible but was great for my needs and so clean. The room was very clean, and the all important Teas and coffees in the room were great. The disabled parking was right in front of the hotel and was really accessible. Evening carvery, dear lord, there was so much food and well cooked lovely food. Breakfast was plentiful and set you up for the day.

We had come back from our sons graduation and really would have like an alcohol free drink, but the bar was closed and cashed out at 2230hrs, which is unusual for us as we live in Spain and bars never close so early. I am a porridge eater, strange I know, but that would have been nice as an extra.

The room was really nice and staff were friendly and approachable . The only issue we had was the room was cold due the radiator not working which reported when we went out and by the time we came back, the radiator had been fixed and there was a heater in the room too for added warmth.

The bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh. The taps on the sink were a little difficult to turn and the extractor fan didn’t work .

Super friendly and helpful reception. Excellent customer service in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The treacle sponge was the biggest we had ever seen and is a big favorite of ours! They went above and beyond to make our experience amazing for both myself and my children. The room was spacious with everything you would typically expect and need in a hotel room. The sweeping grand staircase decorated with flowers leading up to the rooms was a wonderful sight, my daughter felt like a princess walking up them.

Unable to risk the shower because there was no grab rail at all and only a shower curtain apart from a 7 inch strip of glass near the shower head. In the event of a slip or loss of balance a fall could have resulted in serious injury or even proved fatal for anyone, especially anyone of 70 + years.
