Located opposite the Liverpool Philharmonic hall which was convenient as we were attending a show there. New Year’s Eve meal was very good, staff so helpful as usual ! Breakfast busy but we’ll cooked and good quality as ever. Rooms well appointed, toiletries excellent quality, forgot my toothpaste but reception have complimentary paste. I have not been to the Spa but had a look and will consider booking a treat in the future

I like a hand held shower to rinse off, also I’m only short and had difficulty closing Bath plug as it’s behind a glass screen so had to get into the bath first to shut it , apart from that everything else was really lovely .

Great hotel staff, high quality food at breakfast. Nice bar with very good drink selection. Room had VERY comfortable beds and the bathroom shower was excellent. A separate bath was also within the bathroom

Bar closed 11ish even for guests. Spa more like a party venue on a Fri between 4pm and 6pm with large group quaffing drinks in the hot tub. At £55 for 2 hours not good value for me. There was also a black tie dentist function on the Friday night until 2pm. I am a light sleeper and was kept awake until it finished at 2pm by the faint bass beat. In fairness my partner said never heard a thing...

Staff were really welcoming, common areas were clean fresh and stylish with great interiors and attention to detail. The whole place was infused with gorgeous aromas wafting up from the spa. Thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, water, waffle robes and temple spa toiletries in the room. We were travelling with a dog and they provided a water bowl and treats for him to use. Wish we had time for a longer stay: Menu for Carriage Works restaurant looked amazing. Wish I had taken photos but my hands were full a lot of the time! Great position. Lots to see and do on the doorstep

Urm.... Hmm.... Nothing I can think of. Oh, a little bit of unsettled flooring near the lift creaked a bit, Parking needed some thought, but it wasn't a problem. Metered and max 2 hrs outside the hotel, but several secure parking facilities a short stroll away

Lovely location . Just by the Baltic markets Spa was the nicest spa I have been to & the gym . The staff were all lovely . Hotel spotless ,and is so nicely decorated throughout . Not one area was run down .

There was nothing I didn't like . Just two pointers No mini fridge in the room . Woke up in the night for a drink . Would have liked a fridge filled with drinks and goodies. Which I would have purchased and paid for . Drinks in the bar £13 a cocktail which is a fair price for a hotel , when they came they where so small . Not good value for money I would definitely stay again . Staff hotel and spa was stunning throughout Thank you

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely hotel bar, where we had pre-dinner drinks. Bedroom had a huge bathroom and was a decent size, with good views of the Liverpool skyline.

The only fault is, like most hotels, there is no vanity mirror to use when applying make up / drying hair. There was obviously a mirror in the bathroom, but that is not practical for the above purpose. The full-length mirror in the room had a luggage rack in front of it, and when the hair dryer was plugged in, the cable did not stretch far enough for the mirror to be of any use.

The spa is stunning, without doubt one of the best I've been to - location is perfect for walking to the many eateries nearby or even down to the water for a lovely walk along Kings Parade to the Port & Liver Buildings and the famous Beatles Statue

Staff on check in were not great (one in particular) we were laden down with luggage and clothes from the spa no offer of help or to even let us into the room so that we could do 2 trips - rooms were on different floors despite us asking if they could be together - different person on check out though, who was lovely

Room was spacious and well appointed. Robes are a nice touch in the room. Reception staff are really friendly and welcoming Breakfast was good if bought the day before

It's a shame hotel guests don't get access to the pool without the £45 spa charge. It's nice to be able to have a quick swim after working, but the only option is to pay for the spa charge even though only using the pool for a small amount of time. Our party of about 15 people wanted to have drinks together in the bar in the evening, however the manager told us this was not possible. We have stayed as a group before and were accommodated that time, but not this one, so we went elsewhere which was a shame.

Relaxing in a contemporary space. Friendly, helpful staff.

On the Saturday evening of our stay the relaxing atmosphere in the bar was shattered by the screams of a very young baby...and this was after 9.00 pm This continued for long enough to send us early to our room. I dont know if you have any policy regarding this situation but we have not experienced such a young child in any hotel bar we have stayed in at such a late hour. I appreciate this is not the hotels fault, and speaks more of the families lack of awareness but they could have been politely asked to leave if you had some policy regarding the time limit of babies in the bar.

For us, Hope Street Hotel remains the best city centre hotel in Liverpool. Only a 5 min walk down the hill into heart of the town centre, the hotel has that luxury vibe to it. Staff are always super helpful too. The rooms are simple, modern and high quality, Amazing beds, and the bath and shower room was superb too. We had a 4th floor room this time with great views across the city centre.

You do get what you pay for I know, and Hppe Street is a little pricey but it's worth it if you can afford to treat yourself.

I stayed at Hope Street hotel the night before and the night of my wedding (separate rooms). On arrival the staff were so welcoming and helpful, and helped my mum, bridesmaid and I take my many bags/cases/dresses/flowers etc up to the room. I say help; they offered with kindness. Shortly after arriving to our room on the first night, Damien (shout out to you Damien!!) welcomed us with a bottle of fizz and reassured me as the bride that if we needed anything throughout our stay he would sort it. Damien is a flippin’ legend and didn’t let us down. In the morning, he directed the correct people (hair dressers, photographers, champagne buckets etc ) our way and was more than happy to do so. During the wedding (at a nearby alternative venue) Damien and his staff transferred everything from my initial bridal suite to the honeymoon suite with no fuss. I even left a brand new dress in the cupboard of my bridal suite in all the hurry of the wedding day and the team exchanged everything over without me even asking. On our actual wedding night we were greeted with a gorgeous chocolate platter, temple spa treats and had the most amazing stay in the rooftop suite. We have vowed to come back each year to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you hope street hotel but a special thanks to Damien and his team. 🙏🏻❤️
