It was in a beautiful location overlooking a pond, with sheep and rolling hills. It was very comfortable and spacious, we even had our own living room. Breakfast was delicious. Would love to have stayed longer. We booked very last minute, so pleased we found this treasure.

It was all great! Maybe if we were picky we would have had the landing lights off, as light came in. We like darkness.

Very relaxing place .lovely scenery, owner Jonny was attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely presented.. Would definitely stay again, hopefully with a walking partner to enjoy the walks

Can honestly say I can't think of anything . My husband would've preferred a more supportive mattress but I had no problems.

My sister and I were visiting relatives in the area. On arrival the room was warm and clean. When we came back in later they were happy to open the bar for us and were friendly. Breakfast had a very good choice and the view from the dining room was lovely. We were only there for 1 night but if we needed accommodation again, would definitely come back.

A lovely quiet location, yet just a short distance from Llandod itself. The room was clean, bright and quiet. A good shower experience was nice, too. Breakfast was excellent, very tasty made/consisting of much local produce. My host was friendly and welcoming. I will happily visit again.

rooms were warm comfy and clean staff were very helpful and friendly ... slept well and the dogs enjoyed walking round the lake .... breakfast was hot tasty and delivered very quickly. will be coming back again when in the area..happy with everything i saw .nice touch having local teas in the room & extra things like nuts kitkat and packet of crisps

Close to towns and villages in the area. Decent breakfast. Once we sorted out the room it was quite comfortable The crisps and Kit Kat were a welcomed treat

The host wasn’t the most welcoming although did act when we complained about our room but we were the only customers

Lovely clean,comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with a choice of traditional or continental. Very quiet location. Pleasant host and convenient for Builth Wells where we attended the All Wales Cub Fun Day at the Royal Welsh Showgrounds.

Didn’t realise there were so many different levels so would try to book the ground floor accommodation next time.

The lovely individual decor touches…eg room divider, window frame on the wall and the location was beautiful!

Although it wasn’t cold, there didn’t appear to be any heating in the room. We would have liked dinner service but understand after talking with the proprietor the importance of work life balance for a young family. Shame there wasn’t a food delivery service in the area as we didn’t have a car.

The property was situated opposite a small lake and had a nice terrace for having a drink from their bar on a sunny day. Our room was spacious, decorated in a modern style and well equipped. Breakfast was very nice too.

Perfect stay for 1 night Room was clean tea & coffee plenty view from the room excellent staff very helpful breakfast excellent and a good choice plenty of coffee will definately stay again
