The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy and comfortable enough for a short stay. When the wifi stopped working the person at the reception helped us reseting the router without a problem. The kitchen seemed good. It had a great connection via underground. We stayed there to attend to a show in Wembley stadium and we were able to go back at night without any problems thanks to how close it is of the Underground station.

There's only two showers and 2 toilets per floor so it can be very crowded and slow. It didn't had lockers availables in the rooms, so you had to leave your bags and belongings either in your bed or in the lockers available in the reception

The room is okay; it is warm, so it's perfect for sleeping despite the cold weather. There is a pub downstairs from the rooms, but it was not a problem for me at any moment. The location is very good. You can walk to many different places in the city.

The location is realy good to access many places and the price is fair. I really recomend. A problem of my room was just the bed beside of the bed I sleeped because it don't have power outset. So I recommend the place.

There was a problem about Wifi connection in my floor, I asked the receptionist to solve the issue, they quickly resolved it. Thanks for that. The location was pretty good as I was able to access to the city centre of London by walking within 10 or 15 minutes.

There should be curtains around the beds in order to cover people’s privacy. But There is no such thing in the hostel.

I liked how friendly and clear the reception was in explaining how to use the facilities. The people I stayed with were very respectful of not making noise and not disturbing the privacy or sleep of the roommates. The bed was surprisingly extremely comfortable and I slept really well every single night.

The showers were a bit tough to handle. The one on the third floor is extremely hot and made it very difficult to shower. The one on the first floor was not bad. But they all lacked the functionality to get the specific temperature one would prefer to shower. I managed though by using the first floor shower and turning it on and off again to get a good temperature.

The hostel is very close to Borough metro station, very convenient, and also is 15 mins walk from Elephant & Castle. The hostel is cleaner than the previous time I went. The people at the counter are super nice. Reimbursement of the key fee is fast and even there is a lot of noise outside, the rooms are quiet.

At night, the lighting in the street in the area is scarce; some streets around can be very dark, but the area is busy. You need to pay extra for the lockers, even though I had no problem in the room, should be a good idea to be included. There is no complimentary body soap in the shower. The showers on the second floor have no doors (only a thin curtain) between showers.

The room was very well ventilated and spacious. The kitchen area was quite comfortable with a homely feel and very easy to strike up a conversation with people. Clean toilets and showers. The hostel is literally 2 minutes walk from Borough Tube station which was very handy for me. Peter downstairs at check in/out was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning lady was very busy cleaning up every day which is a good sign. Enjoyed the luxury of a big screen to watch Netflix etc. Downstairs is a lively bar which I didn`t go to this time. I was up on the third floor so noise levels weren`t too disruptive when trying to sleep. Room mates were very well behaved and considerate.

Great pity you are only allowed a maximum stay here of 6 days within 6 months but I can understand why you do this. The fridge was a bit smelly every time somebody opened it although non of my food was in there.

First of all a very big thanks to Liam on reception who was very helpful indeed so much appreciated. This is one of my favourite hostels in London and a great pity that you are restricted in how long you can stay here, but I understand the reasoning behind it. The kitchen/living room communal area is very cosy and is great for being able to chat with others. Great place to self cater. The cleaning staff do an excellent job in ensuring this hostel is kept up to standard including toilets and showers. The security here is excellent. The dorm was very good and fairly spacious. Very comfortable bed and I managed a couple of full nights sleep. Despite being above a lively bar the noise is barely much of a distraction. The hostel is immediately around the corner from Borough Tube Station and within easy access to the rest of London. Will definitely return here again. Cheers everybody, Richard

Great location near London bridge and 2 minutes from Borough Hall subway station. Great value for your money. Nice kitchen where you can cook. Bathrooms and rooms are super clean. You can use the bathroom and showers on every floor. You can store your bags for free if needed. Staff is friendly. Definitely will be back again. I come every year.

This time the room I was in on the third floor was a bit tiny and then one guy had its big suitcase inside the room that took a lot of space. No elevator. Everyone is kind of on their own. Pub downstairs can be loud on a Friday night.

Location was great, pretty clean, nice staff

The wife was a bit of a let down: when it worked it worked really fast, but out of my week of staying it would go off at least 2 or 3 times during the day. Wasn’t a big issue for me since I had a mobile internet but if I were relying only on wi fi it would have been a huge problem. So that’s something to consider as a traveler. Plus, small thing but the place said that each bed has an electricity circuit next to the bed but mine was by the window wall so it didn’t get a circuit other beds had. Not a huge issue since I could use the circuit near the door but was there nevertheless
