Was a bit dubious post booking our stay after reading some reviews regarding size of room and noise, all concerns were unfounded. Lovely size room, massive TV, decent coffee machine, lots of space to sprawl out all our belongings and for myself and teenage daughter to get ready. The room wasn’t too noisy and the staff were really friendly. The location was excellent to explore both Camden, and just across the road from northern line to explore more of the city. Really happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

A few of the lights weren’t working and the milk wasn’t replaced when room was cleaned. But they probably would have fixed these issues if I had raised them. But neither were really important for me to bother with.

- Overall, it was much more comfortable that I expected and could be considered a value-based boutique hotel. I had read some of the previous reviews, and I was a bit concerned. However, it looks like the current management is trying to improve the place. Everything looked new and cleaned up, and they had provided some wonderful touches like water in glass bottles that you wouldn't have expected. - The location is terrific. It's right off the Northern tube that's within 30 minutes of most London attractions, and a short walk to Camden Market. The food options are great, not just at the location but a short walk away. Camden Town is one of the quirkier London neighborhoods, which I find more comfortable that some of the other places in London. - The breakfast at the restaurant was terrific. Kind of a mix between an American and British breakfast that was enjoyable and served in the prompt manner. - Downstairs there was a sitting area you could use as an office.

- Shower wasn't quite warm enough - Bigger towels would have been nice - A real chair would have been nice

The Hotel is at a great location, we stayed one night as we attended a concert at the Electric Ballroom, which was a 10 minute walk away. The room was cozy and clean with all the amenities we would expect. The bathroom was very nice as well. The hotel is located above a restaurant which was really convenient as we didn't have a lot of time to walk around and go out for food. The staff seemed helpful and friendly.

The one point that made our stay less comfortable was that you could hear everything from the hallway within the room. It would be nicer if the soundproofing was somewhat better, as we're both very light sleepers this made our night a bit less restful, so might be worth packing some earplugs next time.

Stayed in a standard double, the bed & pillows were really comfortable, clean, kettle & nice selection of teas/coffees in room, generous amount of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel provided which smelled really nice, hot powerful shower, hair dryer provided in room, escalator up to rooms, air con in room, bottled water in room was a nice touch, American style diner downstairs, had some good vegan options for breakfast including pancakes, bottomless coffee with choice of milks for only £2, location was perfect for Camden, only 10 mins walk away!

The room had a bit of a smell which I thought was like the underground, my husband thought it was a bit like damp which meant we kept the window open on the latch all night and therefor there was a bit of noise from outside. No tv or chair but didn’t need these things anyway as spent most of our time out!

Fabulous location, room was great with a brilliant view of Chalk Farm. Loads of pubs and restaurants nearby. My only build would be the check in as the guy who was on reception really didn't have a clue so wasted 15 minutes until someone helped him find our booking. Just a tip for him - if the customer says their name 3 times then that is probably their name so asking them if 4 or 5 other bookings are them probably isn't the best approach. And maybe acknowledge the wait to the guests when you've taken that long and still not booked them in - a small apology goes a long way.

Very clean and comfortable. Had pretty much everything you would need and room was well decorated. Great location opposite Chalk Farm tube and walking distance to Camden and Regents Park. Despite being in a busy area room was quiet and we slept really well. Nice bathroom with small but powerful shower. Checking in and out was easy.

Room was on the small side considering the cost of the room. No TV in room but that didn’t bother us. If you had wanted breakfast you could book for the pub next door. For what we paid would have thought it would be included in the price.

The best hotel stay I’ve had in ages. Location is amazing, right in the heart of Camden - literally opposite the Roundhouse and the Chalk Hill tube station (where you can easily explore the rest of London). Staff were warm and welcoming, the bedrooms are super clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. The shower is the best I’ve ever had! Powerful, hot and luxurious. We had breakfast at the hotel which was also incredible. Blueberry pancakes are the best I’ve ever tasted. For real. We had an amazing stay. 10/10, no notes. Thank you. We will be back!

all staff we very pleasant , the location is perfect for all transportation around London set on a quieter part of town in daylight hours. very close to primroses hill. a lovely area.

Very noisy outside at closing times. Nice bar across the road. so it's understandable. But if you're the picky type it's not for you. there's no TV in the rooms if that's your thing.waiting to hear if they have quite rooms available. Altogether a very enjoyable stay. I'd definitely go back

Location was excellent. Less than a five minute walk to the nearest tube station. Also walking distance to Camden Market, The Roundhouse, and many other restaurants, venues, and pubs. Staff was very friendly and helpful with tourist type information as well.

Room was comfortable and clean but very basic. No refrigerator, microwave, or television in the room. Wasn't an issue for me as I was only using the room to sleep and shower, but might seem strange to travellers who are used to North American hotels.

The location was fantastic, 2 mins from Chalk Farm tube. The rooms were beautiful, I loved the Senetti monkey lamps, the amazing bed, (one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in), and the Victorian shower and wash basin were stunning additions. I will definitely stay again.

All was good. However, I was locked out of my room after one night (despite booking the room for two nights), a system error was to blame, however the lady sorted the issue out for me by giving me a new digital key.
