Good night! We are some girls from Spain (Granada) that have come for a few days to London and we chose to stay at this amazing hotel. In just two days at this hotel, it has become our home, saving us from the cold streets of London. They gave us a warm welcome with a delicious hot chocolate, coffee, tea… that quickly finished because we drank it instantly. Nevertheless, the next day we had chocolate again, anda that healed our heart. As you can see in the photo (the first one) beds are huge and quite comfortable, and the TV is really modern (thank God that we haven’t stolen it), the only issue is that we couldn’t Watch la isla de las tentaciones in this tv (highly recommended, and the Chunguitos too). If you wanna try something similar to chocolate, you can try la morcilla española. In the second photo appears our bestfriend Prem: the best hotel worker in the world. He treated us so good as a mother with his newborn. That is why we wanted to compliment him because of his kindness. We were so brave that we asked him for a photo, and he said yes! Size only works for one person; my husband and I had to turn sideways to get by each other in the very limited floor space..... and no light above the sink

Great location, very clean and well run hotel. Reception staff are a credit to hotel. Coffees better than nearby chain coffee shops & reasonably priced.

Thumping music from nearby nightclub. Reception were aware of issue, but have been unable to resolve with management of the club. Only affects a few rooms (222 in my case) that back onto club. Offered to change room (not taken as no guarantee would be quieter) & gave complimentary late checkout & free coffees. 2nd night club was much quieter & room very quiet. Room was very hot & a/c struggled to cool down.

The room layouts can vary slightly but size and facilities are very consistent and so, if you've stayed in Zhotels before, you know exactly what you're getting. I am a big Zhotels fan but this one is perhaps my favourite yet. The foyer and bar area is really inviting, with very nice interior architecture, space and atmosphere. The location is just about as good as anywhere in central London, there are Zhotels deeper into the westend but this one is about equal distance between theatreland/Soho and the finacial district/old City, so convenient if you're thinking of walking a lot. As standard, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Nothing comes to mind

1.The plumbing worked - it is erratic and difficult to use in many hotels in UK but not in this Z. 2. The room could be darkened totally by closing the press-button blind. This made it easier to sleep. 3. The TV worked. After being in Europe and unable to get English-language TV, it was nice to hear/watch the BBC. 4. Cleaning, bedmaking, done daily, no fuss. 5. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplied. 6. Sheer convenience of location to what I wanted to do and see. 7. Very quiet.

1. Very small room! Hardly anywhere to put my backpack. "Wardrobe" was hooks on the wall. But I finally appreciated that small can be convenient: there's nowhere to misplace your stuff. No long walk to the bathroom during the night! 2. However, the room size meant a stay of 3-4 nights max would be my maximum stay in future. I stayed 8 nights but would choose a place offering a bigger room next time in London. Is room size in square metres (or feet) given on the site?

It was my first trip to London. I was attending a course at King's College London Guy's campus. Booking.com gave me a bird's eye view of all the surrounding hotels. It has the features to (a) list the available accommodation choices, and (b) the nightly rates. Z Hotel has very competitive pricing. It is along the Picadilly Line direct from Heathrow Airport Terminal 2. And to my pleasant surprise, Z Hotel Holborn is so well located to everything: grocery stores, attraction sites, and tube train station (Holborn). It is also within comfortable walking distances to British Museum, Oxford Street, The Strand, Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair, Trafalgar Square, and literally everywhere. This central location, convenient travel to and from the airport, together with the always smiling and helpful 24/7 reception staff, and also the easy convenience of very well-priced breakfast makes Z Hotel Holborn a genuinely pleasant and rewarding find and experience. The top choice of where to stay in London. I will book Z Hotel Holborn again and again the next time I travel to the great city of London,

Nothing really. If there is one thing, I wish I can have a microwave even in the common area to heat up cheap and delicious supermarket pre-packaged meals.

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. I have stayed in many hotels in my life and some of them the sheet smell was overwhelming but this was really pleasant surprise especially when the room was so small everything was well balanced.

The walls should be repainted room after room in the future because some of the places from white wall you can see those black marks which makes you feel like you are in a dirty room. Also I would suggest if you would like to fit in the same budget, you should take a hot chocolate out ( because hot chocolate that is very rarely you can see in any hotel) and add individual cookies to enjoy for people with their tea or coffee which would make more kind of sense.

A great location close to all main tourist sites and food outlets all round . Older building but a new hotel interior. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. A nice, warm foyer/meal area (we visited in cold January) with friendly staff. The positives of this hotel far outweighed some minor negatives for us. We would definitely stay there again.

For us minor, but, the rooms are small. In our room (305) the length of the bed is the width of the room. We paid a small extra fee for a wider double bed, which was spacious and comfortable. The bed location means the person one one side of the bed needs to climb over the other person to get to the toilet in the middle of the night. Not an issue for us. The small room also means limited space for luggage, worth noting if you have a large suitcase. This is a very nice and well located hotel and these minor negatives do not stop me from highly rating this hotel highly.

Great location, plus clean, presentable and efficient. Lovely bar / restaurant on the ground floor. Inside rooms without windows are great for getting restful sleep. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Moments from Holborn Underground, and a short walk from Covent Garden. Surrounded by excellent eateries and a variety of stores. Given its location, and the prevailing market, good value for money.

My only minor quibbles: Couldn't' connect a computer or phone to the TV, restricting it to broadcast channels. The coffee tray could have used a higher shelf on the wall, to free the small desk space and its power points.

Excellent welcome from the front desk, room was clean and bed very comfortable.

I booked a windowless room so knew it was going to be small etc which is totally fine - didn't need anything more - but £200 seemed excessive.
