The room was very nice, and the little considerate touches that did not cost them much but made us feel special. The staff are very nice without being pompous. Our waiter at dinner was great fun and accommodating. 5 star without pomp!

It's expensive when you are expected to Tip well! It's not compulsory but a bit embarrassing to decline! We don't understand why a Hotel at this price point does not pay staff better!

All staff, in whatever capacity, were exceptional. Service was faultless, and the smiles & laughs were genuine. All facilities were spotless, and in superb condition. It looks like the hotel takes great pride in its offer.

Room was smaller than I had envisaged. Corridor between bathroom and service wall a tad tight, especially for two people. Billed service charges are really annoying. I would like to be trusted to leave a generous tip of my own volition. It left a negative feeling, to what was a faultless experience otherwise. I should say this is an increasing trend amongst all service providers, so you are by no means alone, however, to my mind it suggests patrons cannot be trusted, and that is sad, from a high end business such as yours.

Very comfortable and wonderful staff…nothing was too much trouble. Very central for Covent Garden and many theatres. Food is mainly Gluten and Dairy free in the restaurant for dinner. Good choice for breakfast.

In a noisy traffic area…but typical for central London!

Such a beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated with wonderful staff. It's location is fabulous and you really aren't far from anywhere! You have the Lyceum Theatre next to you, so you can see Lion King, Mama Mia, Frozen or Tina Turner musical with just a few steps from the hotel. Covent Garden is literally round the corner and it's all well within walking distance to the hotel. The room was spotless, the bed huge and very comfortable. Thankfully the room has aircon which was well needed during our stay. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, the usual cooked breakfast or healthier options, along with other options, depending on your taste. We used the valet parking service so just pulled up and they took our car off to the carpark. Wonderful service by all the staff we encountered and a beautiful part of the city. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and the hotel left some lovely bits in our room for our arrival, overall a wonderful stay and we'll definitely stay again.

Impeccable service in an amazing location. Heated floors, fantastic housekeeping, lovely sauna & steam room with great room lighting & so quiet for London. Loved every minute!

Pricey drinks at the bar

We were upgraded to the fabulous Somerset Suite and it was a fabulous and generous surprise that we really loved and appreciated. Gorgeously decorated, beautifully designed with an amazing view. So very comfortable, calm and quiet - we didn’t want to leave. Staff were second to none: polite, knowledgeable, unfailingly helpful. We were extremely impressed. Thank you!

Not mad about the lobby area. Cavernous, badly lit and lacking in atmosphere. Didn’t look like somewhere we’d want to hang out ( unlike the library, which is plush, cosy and lovely)

Location is very central. The staff and service were excellent. We arrived early and were able to access our room straight away. The pool, steam room and changing facilities were very clean and provided useful products and equipment (Dyson hair dryers; ghd straighteners; Natura Bissé cleansers / toners; etc). The king bed and seating area in our room were very comfortable and the towels, linen and room generally were all of high quality. Lovely homemade chocolates were left in our room in the evening.

We booked a Superior room and it was a bit "cosier" than we expected, although not uncomfortably so (especially for London).

The service was outstanding from the reception concierge to the restaurant and bar staff. The hotel is very high quality and situated in the heart of theater land, ideal for a night stay and watch one of the great shows located literally a step outside. Had a great experience even got to see the newly installed Christmas decorations fantastic

Not much overall a very nice hotel

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and very well appointed, with a complimentary mini bar. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. We were able to check in early, which was a bonus. We did not eat an evening meal at the hotel, but breakfast was excellent and the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea was exquisite. Were left a handwritten note and sweet treats in our room, which was a lovely touch. Great location too, with a view of the Lyceum Theatre and within walking distance of Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and many other locations.

Pipes were a bit noisy, but this did not detract from our stay in the slightest. I would not usually pay this much for a one night stay, but it was worth every penny.

This was probably the best stay in London I / We have ever had. The hotel location is superb, right next to Covent Garden, the Strand etc. The staff were excellent all round. Everyone was very helpful, polite and courteous, and especially to our little Pekingese who enjoyed himself so much too! A clean fresh, comfy doggy bed and two bowls were provided for us in our room, along with some welcome doggy snacks, as well as some delicious macaroons for us ! The room was just lovely - beautifully decorated and fitted out with really nice features & lighting - super comfy bed (seriously, I want one the same!), toiletries, robes/slippers all there and lovely. The bathroom was great too, with dual sinks, and a great double size shower, with rain head and normal shower. The Spa was excellent, really great pool, as well as a very nice sauna and steam room - again, really great staff and everything very clean and tidy. Breakfasts were just delicious, and whatever we ordered was fresh made, and utterly lovely! A great hotel, run by enthusiastic and caring staff, and we will definitely come back again to stay in future.
