Nice welcome, tidy comfortable room

The price is very good for the area and the location is convenient for access to Central London. The staff are polite and helpful.

The bathroom was a little smelly and the shower head looked unclean. I found pictures on the website of a dining room, along with previous reviews, misleading, as there is no breakfast available. However, I was mostly happy to overlook these issues considering the price of the room.

Spotless clean. Rooms cleaned everyday. Great staff. Great location for this price. Very good heating/conditioning in the room. Quiet street. Rooms are really tiny, but very comfortable, especially the bed. Great Pizzeria just 3 mins down the street. So if you do not have a need to take walks around the room or do not plan staying in the room all day (with exception of watching tv all day from the bed - the room is great for that purpose :)) but you just need a decent place to stay for couple of days, then it is perfect hotel for you.

Warm welcome on arrival and from all the staff we encountered. Location is great. It’s convenient to train, tube, and bus connections. There’s restaurants and bars nearby. Grocery down the street. The street itself is pretty quiet. You may hear some passing cars at night if your room is street-facing, but it certainly didn’t bother me. The rooms are small but not the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. Shower works great and is surprisingly ample in size relative to the room and bathroom. The hotel is housed in an old converted building. The walls are thinner. The floors can creak a bit. It’s charming in many ways. It’s not a luxury resort. You’re looking here because it fits your budget, and it’s fine!

AC doesn’t work too great - it wasn’t too hot in the room so I didn’t mention this to the front desk. The walls are thin, and the doors to rooms are not equipped with kind of soft-close mechanism so you’re at the mercy of every one else staying at the hotel to behave as though they aren’t alone on the planet and not stomp around at 2am slamming doors. Not the hotel’s fault at all, really, and I had earplugs. The cleaner or deodorizer they spray in the lobby is a bit overbearing, off-putting, and irritating - everything smells chemically clean at least! If you catch it right after a spray, just be prepared to sneeze and cough a bit. I’m also not sure if any type of breakfast is offered. I was never told, but I also didn’t ask. Not sure I needed it anyway.

Great value for money. Everything in walking distance. Walk to Victoria station and nice restaurants. Clean room, comfy bed, quiet night, TV and little view of London eye. No frills budget stay, but very good value for money for a night to rest whilst exploring london with my daughter. Safe for kids and friendly check in staff. Enjoyed the stay

Staff is very warm and welcoming. Love the location as it's hardly 10 mins from Victoria Coach station and Tubes. Place has lifts so luggage is not an issue

Not much really though I missed certain basic facilities like Iron, Blow drier and a decent space to keep my toiletries in bath. For some the space might seem smaller but then the trade off for me was the location and we stayed only for a day. This was not a big problem.

The location was good, and the underground was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They had good local knowledge and provided all the information to our questions about restaurants and travelling around London. The staff also provided us with extra pillows when we asked for them late in the night. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Overall, the room was clean and adequate for our short stay.

The bathroom needed updating. The toilet seat was ill fitted and needed adjusting. The shower tray and walls had some mould. The shelf above the sink was too large, and it was difficult to use the sink without knocking our heads on it. The liquid soap provided in the bathroom had no fragrance. The containers were not cleaned, and they were old. The tea and coffee sachets were not replenished, and we had to request for more as there was not enough for both of us, and there were no spoons provided.

I think sound travel is a nuisance and it's mentioned in many other reviews but to be fair it didn't really make much of a difference to me. The room I had was a 3 person room and the double bed was quite comfortable. the room itself is a bit tired and if i am honest needs a deep clean but that said I had a peaceful sleep so that's all that matters.

The hotel was super clean and comfortable, in a great location. And the room wasn't roasting hot like most hotels I've been to in the UK, it was a comfortable temperature. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Nothing I disliked, this is a mid budget hotel and it fulfilled the brief. One thing to bear in mind is that the windows are single glazing, the street is relatively calm but there is inevitably some traffic noises.
