Breakfast was included in the price and we had a lovely selection from which to chose. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but there was a great atmosphere and the food looked good. We did have 2 delicious cocktails in our room later on.
Nothing at all really. We did have parking at the front of the hotel and then lost the space to another car when we moved to go off somewhere. There is a pre paid car park arranged by the hotel nearby which was absolutely fine. I do prefer to have the car parked securely on hotel grounds but this is naturally always a limited option in a town. No problems with the car parked in Louth.. safe as houses.

Everything was well maintained clean and comfortable The staff are well turned out and helpful We only had breakfast and it was nice coffee was good
Our room was hot, too warm there was a fan and big sash windows that we had fully open all night The heat came from bellow unfortunately it was above the kitchen a air conditioning unit would solve this problem. Also a dressing table would have been nice standing and balancing make up hair dryers ect to get ready was a bit frustrating, while there was lots of mirrors seeing in them to get ready was a challenge and the bathroom was simply to hot to get ready in .

Room was small but ideal for us as only stayed one night had everything in the room we needed for our stay, if I stay for more than one night I would be happy to pay extra for a larger room. The breakfast choice was very good, we were a party of six and everyone had a excellent breakfast..
Was disappointed with the parking because on the confirmation it said parking at front of hotel non market days, but was limited to half an hour so quite a walk to the car park, this wouldn’t stop me booking again but they should make parking arrangements clear.

Had twin room. Reasonable size. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom (rainshower over bath). No lift, but staff carried our cases upstairs. No onside parking but free parking on nearby car park (about 10 min walk). Good inclusive breakfasts. Lots local pubs & restaurants. Lovely market town with wide range of shops
No evening bar. Restaurant closes at 5pm (except Fri & Sat). We had intended to have a late lunch on arrival, but catering staff off sick (staff very apologetic) Some hand tissues in room & a shower cap would have been welcome. Booking.com room info indicated that wine/champagne & glasses included - this was not the case.

The room was very good size and clean. The shower was excellent.
It would’ve been nice to have known that we were unable to keep our car close to the hotel as it was market Day on the day we were leaving the hotel. As a disabled driver, it was quite a walk to the co-op supermarket with our bags on the day we left. I’ll arrival we were told that our room was at the top of the building, The receptionist understood that I was a blue badge holder, There was no offer of any help to carry or help us with our bags up three flights of stairs, which would’ve been a good gesture.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room (standard double) was a bit small but the upside was that they'd fitted in a very comfy king-sized bed. The shower ensuite was spotless and seemed quite newly installed. Including coffee and tea making equipment was an added bonus.
Perhaps a greater choice for breakfast would have been nice. Eating a large cooked breakfast each day proved too much but there was no real alternative, although the staff did what they could to offer something lighter. I'd suggest they also offer, in addition to the cooked breakfasts, a continental style option (toast, pastries, local breads and maybe cheeses/eggs to boil etc.).

Lovely hotel with loads of character and classy touches. Staff were friendly and responsive. Breakfast was great. Perhaps an additional simple vegetarian option would have been good for my partner. Really enjoyed the vegan breakfast but it got a little repetitive after 3 days. Brilliant location.
Shame that the bar and restaurant was only open during the day. Appreciate cost of opening during the week though.

Located in the middle of Louth, an historic market town on the edge of the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds. A warm welcome at reception, who showed us to our room. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated in a modern style. Breakfast was served in the pleasant bistro restaurant and although the choice wasn’t exceptional, the food was excellent, plentiful and pleasantly served.
Difficult to find anything not to like about the property. Being in the old town centre does mean there’s a walk of a few minutes from the car park (although the hotel arranged a parking pass which was welcome).

Location, friendly staff, food at breakfast, even though the parking was a 4 min walk away it wasn't a hassle, really large bedroom that was nicely furnished. A washing machine was advertised as being in the room which is why we booked. However, that listing was a mistake and has now been deleted. That listing error was quickly rectified by a washing machine being made available to us by the reception staff. It was handled well.
We did request toast at breakfast which didn't arrive. However, in the end the delicious cooked breakfast was enough food. To be fair to the gentleman taking the breakfast orders, he was busy and delivered friendly service too, just an oversight on his part.

Really comfortable bed and room, good size, nice toiletries and extras in room (tea, Nespresso machine etc), breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and staff were lovely and helpful. The decor itself is super nice. Really clean and looked after hotel. Loads of nice places to eat and drink all within walking distance. Taxis were reliable and often. Excellent location to most things but also has its downsides...
The location itself was a little noisy at night from a nearby bar, finished at 12am so was okay. Early morning market traders were putting up stalls which was again noisy with the window open as it was warm, but was lovely to be able to walk out onto the market. If you are a light sleeper I would request a room not facing this way. There were also noisy pigeons above us - sadly we are quite sensitive to sounds so this was a bit annoying but didn't detract from our stay. Also the bar and restaurant are not open past 5/6 which was slightly unfortunate as we wanted a cocktail in the hotel, this could have been made clearer on booking but we found the local Blocktails bar was excellent!
