Friendly staff, comfy bed and brilliant breakfast choices, very good value. The toiletries were really good, they smelled amazing. There was nothing cheap about the place. They even use Kleenex tissues on the dresser. The room was refreshed each day, and it was nice to come back to a tidy room. The place is restful and peaceful. I imagine it's even better in the summer. We did not get a chance to explore as the weather was terrible. But it was just the right location for our needs on this visit, When we got back at night after our family and friends visits it was just what we needed, a great place to rest and relax, ready for our next visit.

The shower was not the best. The water pressure was poor. We were in the disabled room, and I was disappointed about not having a bath - I'd read that all the rooms had a bath. I would have liked to have a soak whilst drinking wine, eating fruit and chocolates. They offer a reasonably priced experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hall Farm Hotel. The location was exactly what we were after, peaceful, away from the hustle of everyday life and being surrounded with nature. As soon as we entered the hotel, we noticed how clean it was with ample parking spaces and were welcomed with a friendly smile but unfortunately were unable to get the ladies name. She greeted us and even offered to take us to our room. Our room was easily accessible and the hotel have leaflets and maps of things to do around the area. These are kept in the reception/check in area. We had a 4 poster bed, which I must say was VERY comfortable. The room was very clean, with lots of storage space, two comfortable chairs to sit on and it had a a lovely large bathroom that has toiletries and towels provided. We had dinner at the restaurant on our first night which was exceptional. Such beautiful flavours and a good variety on the menu. The portion was really good too with friendly staff working in the restaurant. I've added some pictures to my review. Breakfast was included in our stay and the chef was very friendly, inviting and cooked us a beautiful breakfast choice all 3 mornings. I couldn't help but choose the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and he did the scrambled eggs perfectly every time. Sorry we never took your name but thank you for being so welcoming. There is a menu where you can choose what you'd like and we loved that there were also cereals, juices and croissants available to help ourselves. There are options to go for walks around the area ranging from 8 to 10 miles. But we decided to just walk around Hall Farm Hotel and the beautiful greenery that surrounds the hotel. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and really enjoyed going for walks only hearing the noises of birds, so peaceful!

the staff were on the most part very good, certainly they were able to cater for our non alcoholic request for bubbly in the room which is not listed on menus etc. The bath treat menu was very nice as it was our anniversary and again the hotel catered for our non alcoholic request (though this was not a listed option) The restaurant food was wonderful, though the cooked breakfast option seemed a little small. Loved the his and hers bath and four poster bed.

the room (s) were lacking a nice view, only really seeing into a public courtyard, not very attractive, but I admit I doubt much could be done to improve it. Though the bed seemed very comfortable, my wife and I woke both morning with back ache, honestly not sure if that was the bed or just us, but we dont get the same at home. I would recommend having a non alcoholic option included on the bath time menu rather than guests having to make special requests for it. also as the bath is big enough for two, I'd recommend either a longer non slip bath mat or two.

What a place! Lots of parking, lovely friendly staff, large room with a really comfy bed and pillows and a really nice big clean bathroom..loved it...ate in the restaurant and the food was brilliant... slightly on the pricier side but can't fault the quality at all so didn't mind...would definitely stay again

My only criticism and I'm nitpicking....the breakfast in the morning.....please add beans to the full English....seemed a bit off to have sausages eggs and bacon and toast and nothing really moist...where's the beans?!

The hotel was excellent. All the rooms are individually decorated in themes and too a very high standard. We were a large group of 13 family members attending a funeral in Grimsby. The hotel were exceptional in everything the did for us over the two days we stayed. Every request was met and done with a smile. The restaurant is also worth having a meal in. Breakfast was fantastic.

Not really having a separate lounge that we could all sit together. The reception area is too small for this purpose. However they did open the restaurant 3 hours early for us so that we could all sit together and chat.

Very good location and would recommend the hotel and area, Excellent breakfast, most of the staff were very pleasant. shower, TV, WIFI, kettle/coffee/tea, towels, tissues, bed pillows, bed sheets were very happy with.

waiters could make an effort to serve with a smile and we have to make effort to make them pleasant but service was very good, bed was too soft and sloppy which caused back pains, no handles in the bath and accident is waiting to happen!, walk-in shower was asked for but not available. provided only shampoo and hair conditioner but no shower gel, no face towels even when asked for. The second room that was provided was in the converted loft and whenever got up from the bed hit by the ceiling. Bed has to be rearranged or ceiling has to be raised.

The room. Was gorgeous, beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed. Huge bath towels. The restaurant serves great food at a very reasonable price Will definitely return for another visit

Room felt a little overlooked, there was a wedding on and the guests used the courtyard. Which meant we felt a little exposed when relaxing in our room, especially when they moved chairs right up to the window. Nothing major though

We only stayed for one night stopover on a trip home from Scotland but did use the restaurant for both the evening meal and breakfast. Both meals were very good. The evening menu offered a good selection. There is a bar area within the restaurant that you can use without having a meal. Opening hours are 5:30 to 9:00ish. Our room was large with a comfortable king size bed. Staff were friendly.

The Hotel is in a very quiet location and the approach to it gives a misleading impression of what you can expect to find. One settled in the spacious car park area, access to reception is achieved across the pebble, stones, surfacing. Once inside, the interior was found to be modern, clean with a very personable receptionist waiting to greet us. The registration process could not have been easier after which we were directed to our room. The room was very acceptable, perhaps a little small by some standards but it lacked nothing other than to make our stay a good one. The bathroom was absolutely fine, no complaints in that direction. When we registered the question was raised regarding using the hotel’s restaurant in the evening and we most certainly did. On arriving at the restaurant we were greeted by name by the genial gentleman in charge of the proceedings. We were given plenty of time to peruse the interesting menu and select our chosen dishes. The food was outstandingly good and we were not surprised as it began to become much busier as the evening progressed. From what could be ascertained from a distance, a number of our fellow diners were “regulars”, due and, in our option, warranted testimony of the quality on offer at the restaurant. There was nothing we did not like about Hall Farm Hotel and Restaurant. We were not surprised on hearing the complex has bookings in their books for weddings and Christmas parties. Given the opportunity we will return to Hall Farm and Restaurant again.

We had not the afore sight to book for more than one night. We were not inconvenienced by the hotel’s location but it remains anyone staying there will need a car or have a taxi booked.

This hotel was perfect for a quiet night away. The attention to detail was lovely in the rooms and you could tell that a lot of effort has gone into the hotel. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. There was a huge bath and bath robes in the room. The staff were friendly in the restaurant and the food was good. Good cooked breakfast in the morning too.

There’s nothing I can think of that would have madr our stay better.
