Great location in a beautiful building. Can imagine in summer it’s very busy round here right on the Hoe. I stayed in a ground floor small apartment round the back. It had everything I needed. The company provided a code for the door and were very helpful. Mandy in particular. Cosy and warm with underfloor heating.

On arrival I found the standard of cleaning to be sadly very poor. There was a water glass in the shower, actually on the shower floor. There was plastic on the dining table, a used tissue in the bedroom bin, a half empty carton of milk in the fridge and the skirting boards were thick with dust. It appeared someone had changed the bedding and given the bathroom a clean but not checked the rest of the apartment. I was a little apprehensive about the code for the door and no key but it appeared perfectly safe. As a lone female I didn’t go out at night due to the entrance being at the back of the building on a very quiet street.

Absolutely amazing. Great response from the host. He was amazing as I didn't really understand how to use booking to find my code but he was there immediately to help. The accommodation was absolutely perfect. Clean and tidy yet cosy and warm. The layout was perfect for us and the bathroom...... Well what can I say other than wow. The heated floors were a treat for my feet :) Parking at the property was easy. Right on the sea front and only a short walk to the town. I will definitely be booking here again so see you soon!

The accommodation offers stunning views, with the beach scenery being particularly amazing. The room was spacious with a cozy bed, and the staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat.

While my stay was overall enjoyable, there were a couple of minor issues. Firstly, I found that the main door was difficult to open, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the size of the lift was rather small, making it a bit cramped, especially when carrying luggage. These were minor inconveniences, but worth noting for future guests.

It was a lovely apartment and the kitchenette was well equipped and was well camouflaged! It looks like cupboards but when one tries to open a cupboard, it magically opens to a whole kitchen! Really enjoyed staying there.

There was a mix up with apartments initially but was soon sorted out. We paid more than we would usually pay but we usually only book a room not a whole apartment. The price was the only negative thing that I would say but it is right on the Hoe, used to be Lady Astor’s house and had parking which is at a premium in that area. All in all we had a great stay.

Location was great, right on the Hoe which was perfect. Apartment had everything you needed. Welcome cookies was a great touch.

Only negative is that the door to the apartment did not 100% feel secure. Having a keypad to get in is great as you are not carrying a key about but you have to check several times that the door is locked when you leave/get in as it sometimes didn't feel like it shuts properly.

Great location and availability of parking. Comfortable sleep. Good internet.

Dinning chairs, while attractive did not make for comfortable seats, (WFH). Kitchen cleanliness on arrival, pans etc was below expected standard. No washing-up liquid was provided and a dishwasher seems such an extravagence for only two!

the first apartment I booked advised it was a 1 bed plus sofa bed, I also call the office to check it was a 1 bedroom and sofa in lounge and advised yes it was, as the apartment was for my son (36 yrs) and me. When we went into the apartment I had booked it was a studio, therefore no separate bedroom. Andy the manager advised there was a 2 bed apartment available, we took a look and Andy called for the increase in price, we paid the uplift. The 2 bed Sir Francis Drake apartment was stunning so all good in the end.

Great location and amazing views. The apartment was very clean with enough room for a family of four. The dog welcome pack was a lovely touch too, thank you!

Not really a negative but we would have preferred the internal door to the apartment to have a lock on the inside and we were expecting a corner sofa - however wasn't a big deal!

The instructions to access the property were clear and easy to follow. The view from the apartment was absolutely spectacular! The beds were comfortable and there were smart televisions in all rooms. Excellent location for accessing the local restaurants and bars!

The access keys to main entrance keypad were sticking a little. There were crumbs on the floor of the dining/living area.

We loved this apartment. The location was great, the decor was lovely, beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for a 2 night stay to explore Dartmoor National Park. We absolutely loved the views, even with a rainy afternoon you would never get bored with the that gorgeous view. We really appreciated the tea, milk and biscuits, a nice touch!
