Amazing food, and lovely people! Great value for money and in a lovely location.

Sound proofing in the rooms! The shower cubicle was fab until the bathroom floor was soaked!

The value and comfort of this inn was unmatched. It was a gorgeous, cozy, well appointed room in a spacious country property and was easily accessed by car. It had plenty of parking and lots of outdoor space. The bed was really comfortable, the food in the pub was amazing, and the breakfast was great too. Lots of options on the menu for both meals. Highly encourage a stay and they bill themselves as very dog friendly :)

The landlady Tammy was an absolute superstar I have two rescue boys that are quite hard work and she really went above and beyond to let us enjoy the two night stay over Christmas. There is an entire area next to the pub where we could let well behaved dogs off the lead just one I couldn’t as he could escape so it’s not fully enclosed but very handy for nighttime toilets and we both stayed in one of the hard floor rooms which was perfect as we didn’t interfere with other guests. Food was fantastic and my friend who stayed one night with her pawpal Archie is also well travelled and very fussy so we were extremely impressed Thankyou for having us and thanks for the late check out it was really helpful.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Staff were absolutely superb. Other than that all outstanding. The chef, whom I checked in with (as I was early) was great, and was really helpful with my daughter's vegan tastes. To the extent that he provided her with a packet of vegan cheese in the morning as it was the first vegan cheese she'd had that she liked! I've never known a bath run so quick! It's amazing - you've got to have it. Gorgeous location with some delightful walks nearby.

New fella in the morning wasn't quick but he was brand new. Not a bad word to say about anything.

We recently stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The pub was very welcoming and the decor very relaxing. The room was nice with country style decor. We had a superking bed which I found very comfy but my partner found it too soft ( you can't please everyone!) The lighting was quite dark in the room though & the sockets were not near to the main mirror for hairdryng/styling. I always take an extension cable but it'd be a good idea for one to be available for guests. The room was otherwise well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, iron & board, hair dryer, fab etc and was a very warm room . The staff, Rosie and Chelsea were fantastic all weekend. We had breakfast each morning and the first day I found that there was way too much sauce on the eggs Benedict but the quality of the ingredients was fantastic. Maybe put the sauce on the side or ask if the guest wants this. The coffee, juice, pastries were all excellent too. The cooked breakfast on the 2 and day was fantastic but sadly on the 3rd day staffing issues meant all we had the option of was a bacon sandwich and pastries. Rosie did her very best to sort this out for guests when it clearly wasn't her role to do it but got stuck in to make them for the guests. We had 2 evening meals and both were an excellent standard. The hotel doesn't serve food on certain nights so we dined in a nearby pub on the recommendations of the staff and it was good to see local businesses supporting each other. The meal there was also fantastic. My only point to highlight was there not being enough wood / coal to keep the fire going on the Monday as it's a large premises but cold pub without the heating on & fire going through the winter. I'd highly recommend the pub and would definitely stay again. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Better room lights.

Bourne Valley Inn is a beautiful quaint Inn set on the rolling hills of Hampshire’s country side. The outstanding staff team made our stay extra special and a truly incredible experience. The female manager went above and beyond to welcome us for our one nights stay to celebrate my mothers birthday. The rooms are bespoke, bed’s are super comfortable and spacious. The restaurant food is exquisite.

All was great

Easy to find. Great welcome, shown to our room not just pointed in direction of. Room good size for a one night stay, very comfortable. Good parking. Slept well, lovely and quiet. Breakfast was very good, in front of log fire. Would stay again

Not their fault, but a problem in the kitchen meant no evening meal,(which we knew before we arrived) no fire in the evening and bar shutting at 8pm, as only 3 people in. No milk in room for tea and had I noticed earlier I'm sure we could have got some. They had helpfully booked us in the pub in the village for supper

The food offered was excellent. We had dinner when we arrived and breakfast the following morning. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. Excellent location for what we wanted with plenty of parking.

The room was possibly a little basic and access to the double bed was from one side only, with only one bedside table and one chair.

I stayed for one night. Lovely room and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast - I had two courses. Vegan options provided too.

I found it was very cold at night. Windows had been left open in the hall way until I got in at 12am which I then closed. Unfortunately was no way to put heating on in bedroom.

A very quaint and atmospheric inn in a quiet and pleasant countryside setting. Our room was small but fine for one night. The room was well equipped with iron & ironing board, tea & coffee tray with a Cafetière and very fluffy towels. My husband enjoyed his fully cooked English breakfast! We had dinner on the evening of our arrival which was very tasty and on Wednesdays there is 25% off your food bill, which was a bonus.

Our room was small with the bed pushed up against one wall which isn’t the best situation. I think this affected my sleep quality. Also what sounded like a bin lorry collection at 5.40am woke me up. Breakfast was limited with no cereal, fruit juice or yogurt offered but there was a good choice of cooked alternatives if that’s what you like.
