Highfield Guest House has got to be one of the best properties to stay at in Sheringham, perhaps even the best. The location is superb with easy access to both the town and sea-front from different directions. The property itself is very clean and well organised. The introduction of a beer garden and bar out the back is welcome. The breakfast is excellent as well with the best scrambled eggs I have ever had! The hosts are kind, respectful and go out of their way to accomodate.

The bathroom in the room I stayed was a tad cramped but I appreciate the effort to fit all the amenities in.

Hosts were very friendly..allowed us in when we arrived too early...guest house was very nice and festive, room clean comfy and warm. breakfasts were lovely, hot, fresh and quick. Dining room very nicely set out. Close enough to walk into town, loads of places to eat. Steam train 5 minutes away..Would definately stay there again.

Toiletries could be better,as in hair conditioner, could not get a comb through my hair after use.needs a bit better quality product , also maybe have some semi skimmed milk for tea making facilities . Only had full fat milk.

From the very start on arrival at Highfield we were made to feel at home. John offered to carry up our luggage and explained all we needed to know . Our room had been thoroughly cleaned and had everything in we needed. An exceptional breakfast was on offer each day and cooked to perfection by Sam and served by their polite and smiling daughter. Despite their obviously busy lifestyle they all found the time to chat about our day and how our visit was going. This is by far the best B & B we have ever stayed in and highly reccommend it. You will not be dissappointed !

Absolutely nothing. We cannot speak highly enough of the Highfield.

Having booked only the day before travelling, I was REALLY pleased with my choice. A friendly welcome, a very clean room with a shower, a good selection of tea & coffee in the room. Very comfy bed. The room was tidied every day and the bins emptied. The breakfasts were outstanding; delicious and generous. A lovely touch was a chocolate Easter egg for every guest on Easter Sunday. I came to visit the North Norfolk Railway and was delighted to find that I could just catch sight of trains arriving and departing the station from my window, and hear the whistles and hissing of the locos. Sheringham is a lovely little town and I would definitely return, and Highfield would be my first choice. Thank you.

I have no complaints.

Situated near to town and beach on a very quiet residential area. Lovely owners - very friendly. Really loved the mixed fruit and yoghurt for breakfast! Delicious! Room had great TV with Netflix etc! WiFi was good too! Very clean, lovely bedroom decor and was warm and cozy. Good tea and coffee tray with biscuits. This is our second visit...such a great location for exploring the area!

Bed wasn't very comfy this time! Mattress was lumpy. The bathroom shower screen was black with mould at the base. It was a real shame because it was a good shower and a small but perfect en suite. Also, very difficult to fill the kettle in the tiny sink! We had to use a glass to fill it....

The hosts were frriendly and willing to help us enjoy our stay to the full. Breaakfast was excellent in quality, quantity and pesentation. The bedroom was clean, bed very comfortable and supplies of tea, coffee etc plentiful.. The en-suite bathroom had a good size shower, towels could be changed on request and good quality toiletries available. On street car parking was easy. We recommend this homely place and its hosts.

have nothing to say here

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was super, well cooked and delicious, the Eggs Benedict especially was very tasty. The beer garden was a nice touch and perfect to sit and cool off after a long day in the sun.

Our only fault we had was that the room and en suite were very small for two people, I appreciate there is nothing they can do about that but maybe it could be advertised as a single rather than double.

Location was perfect just a few minutes walk from town centre, theatre and sea front. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the guesthouse had a homely feel on our arrival. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits plus alternative milk were provided as requested without any problem. Wifi available and had good connectivity. In the morning we enjoyed a fantastic vegan cooked breakfast, really nicely cooked and presented.

The ensuite bathroom was lovely, modern and clean but with no radiator it felt a bit chilly even though the heating was on in the bedroom, maybe a heated towel rail would sort that out. Unfortunately the window view was disappointing as it looked onto an adjacent house wall that was not well painted.

The hosts Sam and John are just amazing, friendly and helpful, helping with any information we needed. A HUGE positive is that you can eat in instead of walking to town and I can highly recommend the food and portion size which was generous. A plus for those wanting to drink there is an outside bar, undercover if required. We stayed in Room 4 which has a walk in shower, the bed was so good my wife slept all night, unheard of ! The Breakfast was excellent. as was the service, we are going to return for the Spring Poppy Season, which I am told is wonderful to see. There is a 1 mile total walk up to Sheringham's Coast Guard Look out post, the views are incredible, I highly recommend that walk

I cannot think of a negative

A warm welcome from husband and wife team John and Sam. It has a very relaxing beer garden to enjoy before going out for the evening. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the town centre and seafront. Great choice for breakfast, and the dining tables have your room number on, so there's no aimless wandering about wondering where to sit.

I would be nit-picking if I said there was something I didn't like. Some reviews have said there is nowhere to put your shampoo bottle in the shower, we used the flat surface of the chrome bracket for the riser rail, problem solved! The water pressure was just fine, no problem for us. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!
