Sissinghurst is lovely, Sissinghurst farmhouse is a beautiful listed farmhouse. The owners are very friendly. On our visit we were welcomed with a lovely room , with tea, & coffee in our room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful with great views, a lovely classic room. Only downside for us , the pillows were too soft so maybe if you prefer a harder pillow bring your own or maybe ask the owner before you arrive. In our room we had sash windows which are beautiful but we were unable to open and we were quite hot at night. We had tea & a selection of cakes when we arrived which was fantastic and the breakfast was very tasty & a good selection to choose from. We will definitely be back in the spring/summer. The hosts are lovely. We went for dinner in The Malthouse which is in Sissinghurst high Street. Great food. Lovely friendly staff. All in all a beautiful area to visit , well worth a visit or two .

Pillows for us were too soft Even though it was December , we would have liked to open our window/s as we were hot sleeping & there was not a fan. No shower gel , only shampoo & conditioner.

The farmhouse is a stunning house with beautiful views of the castle and gardens. It could not be more conveniently located if you have come to see the castle and gardens and go hiking through the beautiful countryside. The hosts were very kind and friendly and the breakfast was also nice with a wide selection (although we were surprised that our neighbouring table was offered alternative milk options and sour dough bread) which we did not know were available to my lactose intolerant son. I suppose we were supposed to ask for it? Nevertheless, that aside, the complimentary afternoon cream tea with cake accompaniment was also delightful and very delish! The rooms were very pleasant although as we were on the very top floor, just as something to note, we did not have the pleasure of the high ceilings as in the rest of the house and you do have to go up a flight of stairs if you are disabled. However we did have lovely views and bright rooms. Also the bathroom sink is a bit tiny so you need to throw down the bath mat if you don't want to get the whole floor wet. All in all it was a very nice stay . The best part is the beautiful building and location.

There could have been a proper dressing table with a mirror in the rooms and as mentioned, if the sink was larger, we would have managed to wash up without getting the entire floor wet!

The farmhouse has been modernised and skilfully converted. The rooms were spotlessly clean and practically furnished. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was all made with fresh or homemade products (granola, fruit salad, jam). Anna welcomed us in a very friendly and courteous manner. She puts her heart and soul into the business and is fully invested. We would definitely recommend it to others and look forward to coming back. Terrific breakfast. One of the couple who operates the place is a professional chef. There was an elevator for my mobility-impaired husband, even though this was an historic old house, which usually doesn't have such a thing.

I didn't realize when booking how difficult it would be to get to town and to other places, always needing a taxi ride. But the hostess prepared excellent dinners for us so that we didn't have to go off the property for those.

Lovely, welcoming staff and an absolutely flawless location in the Kent countryside. Staying at the Farmhouse is a delight and made for my special birthday weekend. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge with a good choice of beverages and room was comfy and clean. Breakfast is superb and the service was quick and friendly. Would recommend the Farmhouse anytime!

That I didn't book to stay longer!

In our 6 weeks of travel in UK, this was our absolute favorite lodging. It was perfect. We loved the breakfast, the offering of dinner salads from local produce, afternoon tea, luxurious room, walk to Sissinghurst gardens, view of Sissinghurst tower & sheep pasture from our large “Sissinghurst” room. All the rooms have special names. Gracious, Lovely & accommodating staff and host. Thank you so much for everything!

No mini frig, but at the end of our time in UK so not necessary for us.

Staying at the Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse was a highlight of our time in Kent. We stayed in the Lovehurst suite which is set up for families with two separate rooms that share a bathroom. The accommodations were amazing and everything about our stay was exceptional. We had lovely views of Sissinghurst Castle and gardens. The breakfasts were outstanding. We would definitely recommend this as a home base for anyone exploring Kent and its attractions.

Beautiful property and surroundings. Very good breakfast and very helpful staff. Rooms were good.

We had the suite which meant a shared bathroom. We presumed we’d all be in a suite together that had its own door as this is what I’ve had elsewhere but it was basically 2 separate bedrooms with a very small shared bathroom across a landing outside both rooms so it wasn’t a suite.

Exceptional- probably the most indulgent breakfast feast. The owner is a chef and makes her own marmalade and jams. All produce locally harvested and it shines!

Loved the grandeur, furnishings and location. A special place for a treat. The high tea on arrival was lovely, and the most amazing breakfast options I’ve ever experience on offer - everything you could want and more, and cooked beautifully. Downstairs mini bar options were very good, too.

The bathrooms are definitely small, but this was apparent from the photos, and not any major inconvenience. Also, it was the middle of a long heatwave and the rooms - all upstairs - were baking - so a fan would have been nice.
