The location is in centre of town so very handy for shopping. As I have disabilities we had ground floor room which was appreciated. But if you are very restricted in movement ie. A wheel chair i don't think this hotel would suit you as there is a lot of small and larger flights of stairs and no lifts The breakfast was very nice and good quality and displayed buffet style. Only one point I would raise would be that the serving plates were cold. Therefore the food went cold quickly. Suggest they have a heated plate container next to serving table. At breakfast.

Heated plates at breakfast.

The room was quite spacious and the bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom had both bath and shower (always welcome for me) and it was clearly quite newly fitted. The breakfast was good with freshly cooked fare and the restaurant served good food in the evening. The hotel's position on Jury Street makes it both attractive and convenient for the castle, the town and the Lord Leycester Hospital.

Some of the light fittings were unreliable and room-doors were a trifle tatty. However, these didn't detract from the overall appeal of this historic establishment.

We arrived around lunch time and parked in the hotel carpark with no troubles , it is first come first serve. we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, the hotel staff were lovely and accommodating - it was quite busy but the hotel had plenty of staff which showed . The hotel has a nice vibe we enjoyed our lunch in the bar and were pleased with the value £9.50 for a steak ciabatta, and skin on fries . Breakfast was buffet style , plenty to choose from and warm enough again breakfast staff very attentive . Great location would stay again

We would stay again but request a room not a the front of the hotel , the noise was quite loud from the road and we were woken up earlier by the road sweeper - not a deal breaker as the room was very very clean and well furnished

Very friendly and nice staff. When we arrived in the hotel for the check-in we were welcomed by the receptionist in an exceptionally nice way, which made us feel at home straight away! Very pleasant and refurbished rooms, better than expected, the more so since the rating of the hotel was only 7.4 - 7.8. I think it deserves a 9! Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were very good. Many small areas with sofa's to seat in the hotel. On the whole a lovely old Georgian building.

Just a couple of minor points: the tea at breakfast was not quite hot, and a bit too strong for our continental taste. Only on our last morning we discovered that we could help ourselves to tea from the hot water container, so that we had really fresh and hot tea. The dining room could have been a little bit more cosy (however, the bar part was lovely).

This is right in the centre of Warwick and very close to the castle. We were there for a concert in the castle grounds and it was just a short walk back to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good with cooked choices or cereals. Also short walk from the racecourse. They have parkrun on Saturdays so I took my running kit and took part. We would most definitely stay here again if we are in Warwick.

We are used to a kingsize bed so found the standard double bed small. It was a hot day so the room was hot but a fan was provided. There was not much power in the shower but we were only there one night so managed to freshen up enough. When we had breakfast there were no baked beans. These were available after we had finished. I also had to wait for my vegetarian sausages to be cooked and had finished the rest of my breakfast by the time they came out.

The Hotel is in a lovely old building in the heart of Warwick. The room had everything I needed. The lobby had an open fire and the bar and restaurant looked very welcoming. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, I left my scarf and they sent it to my home address the same day and then followed up with message to let me know. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was a standard double but it was on the small side. I am 5 ft 5" and the shower cubicle was small. had I been any larger I would have struggled to get in.

Staff were lovely and friendly it was well centralised

The events room is directly below the bedrooms so you couldn't sleep until the event had finished. Rooms were very expensive for what they were. We stayed as a family group booking several rooms and out of the 6 rooms that we booked only 2 of us were happy with the rooms.

Location was perfect - in the centre and 2 mins from where we needed to be. Stylish and well presented ground floor public rooms with lovely little private quiet nooks for sitting in. Good choice of rooms for breakfast. Very clean and modern but rightly celebrates its amazing history and characterful charm.

Was very noisy in corridors in the early hours but this wasn’t the hotel’s fault. My room was very close to the kitchen fan which interrupted my sleep. I wasn’t asked how my stay had been on checkout.

Beautiful decor in the communal areas. Very welcoming and clean. Room was simple but clean and very comfortable. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient with lots of choice. My 5 year old son was welcome and everyone was very engaging with him. Breakfast too was simple but delicious. Importantly the buffet was kept well stocked. Overall a lovely hotel, with the quirkiness of an old Inn but with a modern and fresh makeover! Perfect location for a visit to the castle with am added bonus of its own car park which made check in and travelling with a 5 year old much easier!

Staff not present at reception and breakfast. Not sure if short staffed but typically had to wait for someone to appear. At breakfast the service was very friendly but staff were not present in the dining area rather out in reception chatting to a colleague. Myself and every guest in the dining had to get up and ask for hot drinks they were not proactively offered. The room was comfortable and quiet however the bathroom had an unpleasant smell like the drains might need a good clean.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable,we have stayed a few times here and would not stay anywhere else, staff are very nice and helpful would always recommend it.

If you have last breakfast at 9.15 which for a Saturday and Sunday is early when you are away for the weekend, ought to be at least 10 -10.30 as breakfast is not very good items are missing and what there is is not very hot also they always do herby or spicy sausage which some people do not like so should be plain for everyone.
