Smart, cosy room above a nice, small people-focused pub. Great British ale slection on tap. The breakfast included was a la carte, for which local people were coming in to buy. Very central location to centre of historic Warwick. Parking at the rear of the pub (or free on the street at the front overnight). The young staff were very friendly, professional, helpful.

Unfortunately I arrived too late to get dinner, even though it was only around 8:00pm. The floorboards squeaking from the room next door was really quite loud (but understandable for an old building).

The Tilted Wig was more than a 3 star venue. The room reflected the pub. It was really stylish and the bed was comfortable too. The food was great and most of the staff were really helpful and professional.

On the Sunday evening, there were few staff around. A young girl was doing her best with serving the tables but the other two guys were a bit less professional, larking about between the kitchen and bar. At one point no-one was behind the bar. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before going to the bar and ordering drinks and asking if we order food here too.

Very central for walking round Warwick. The staff were great and I loved the fact they said to just let them know if the music was too loud ( it is a pub after all). Music only minimally heard from the room. The food was delicious both the breakfast included in the room price and the dinner we had the night of our stay.

Not so much a dislike but a bother. The bedroom door was so very difficult to open and close although it looks like they have just fitted new carpets throughout upstairs and just need to get a chance to shave the bottom of the doors before they wreck the new carpets.

Met our requirement for somewhere with parking, close to the castle Staff were brilliant and very friendly.

Bathroom tired and general noise in and around the property. Bathroom needs attention; very small sink, hot water took an age to come, tooth paste spots on wall behind sink, poor lighting; shower head kept drooping and seal worn out on door. The square is very noisy, along with creaks from floors, not so ad after midnight when there is little movement in the hotel. Emergency green light is very bright in room and stays on permanently. Could do with a fan in the room.

The room was perfect for the two of us. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The staff were very helpful and moved their car so that we could park overnight. We had a key to get in late due to us staying for a concert. It was quite noisy outside but there was a concert on so the town was a bit busy. The location is perfect, very central and accessible and Warwick castle is only an 8 min walk away. Breakfast was included and very tasty. The breakfast waitress was on her own and did an amazing job providing great service and juggled lots of tables by herself quite quickly and to a high standard. Perfect cappuccino and flat white and she remembered our orders.

Our waitress slipped over holding plates going into the kitchen and what seemed to be a manager/senior staff member did not seem to be very supportive or helpful and spoke down to her which wasn't nice to see after she had done such a good breakfast service. Sorry, myself and my partner are from hospitality ourselves so couldn't ignore this.

Central location. Breakfast was lovely. Friendly bar staff.

The car park is really small and tight, but the pub had a keg delivery at 9.30am-ish and check out was at 10am, which was not convenient. after breakfast we had to walk round back to the room and then was waiting over 20 mins to leave the car park due to being blocked in. We would not ordinarily mind, but we told staff and delivery staff we needed to be at Warwick castle for 10.30am for a tour. Didn’t end up leaving till 10.10am, which was not ideal. As we very nearly missed our tour. The bed is super comfortable! The shower in room 2 trickled other than being a shower. Overall room was clean and comfortable.

The staff were really accommodating, considering we arrived at a busy time. The room over looked the square, which was lovely, especially nice with the sunset. Didn't really have space for parking, but there was a large free carpark in walking distance. Breakfast was lush. The pub had a really lovely, relaxed, friendly vibe with locals enjoying it, too. Lovely busy pub. Nice decor with a rustic feel. Warm and welcoming. Definitely will be visiting again and definitely will be recommending.

The only only thing, the few stairs , to the rooms could have been tidier and carpet clean. But that certainly didn't impact on our stay.

I liked the design of the room, with the reused wooden planks, though this was an issue with the bathroom. Location was great, on the marketplace in Warwick. Staff were helpful and breakfast freshly cooked.

There is an issue with using wooden planks to surround bathroom sinks. Can these be properly cleaned from splatter from toothbrushing and shaving? It did not appear so. Although people in neighbouring rooms were quiet, hey could be heard a lot. Soundproofing is not good.

The general manager, Chris, is hilarious and shows us everything for our rooms. Also introduce us to a few of his workers and best friend. Our room is comfortable and fits our needs perfectly. The food is really fantastic, we got fish & chips with beer of course. The workers are lively folks and wonderful. I definitely will stay here again. Thank you for making our trip Warwick more enjoyable. We are more quieter folks and don't talk much, but everyone was very friendly to us and still talked to us. We felt welcome. The rooms are above the pub and it is noisily, you will hear music, people and things moving around. Which of course you would hear it, being above a pub! I think this place is great for younger crowds or night owls. There is annoying green light in a room that has to be there safely because of the steps in the room. So bring a sleep mask!

Firstly, this is a pub, it is a very old building that has creaking floorboards so expect noise. On arrival we were met by Chris who was very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we needed and introduced us to his team before showing us to our room. We were in room 3 at the front of the building overlooking the market place. It was clean, functional with all facilities needed. On entering the room Chris pointed out the step down and for that reason there is a green light that is on permanently on although it didn't have any effect on us getting to sleep. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were very good. It is ideally situated for the town and the castle.
