The room was a decent size, clean and tidy with all the expected facilities and accessories. Given the proximity to the A1, the traffic noise was minimal and not a problem. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Parking was easy as it is part of the roadside services complex so there is a large car park immediately outside but no dedicated hotel area for guests.

The room was cold on arrival and I didn’t realise until morning that the electric heating was not automatic and needed to be switched on manually. A heads-up from the desk clerk would have been helpful, particularly given it was December and around 2 degrees outside. The duvet was also quite lightweight, so, without the heating on, the room was quite cool overnight. Struggled to get Netflix or YouTube to function without downloading apps, but standard TV channels were fine. Breakfast was adequate but limited choice on cooked options with only sausages, bacon, beans and scrambled eggs. £6.20 for a can of Guinness.

Good staff, bedding, fab room size, easy to use TV, good water pressure in bathroom. Towels and tea and coffee replenished daily if required. Bar in the hotel foyer is good and charge reasonable prices. They serve breakfast which always smelt good. A range of shops selling fast food on site but a bit expensive and not many healthy options. Wetherby is a five minute drive up the road with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Would have appreciated a fridge in the room to store meds in

Luke...LUKE....LUKE BAKER, Receptionist/Manager/Problem solver... Loud children, Wedding party hanger-ons, NOISE... and he and his cohort understood and gave these two tired travellers a room farther down the hall so we could sleep!!! Thank you, Luke! You are "Customer-focused".

I was happy there was a hotel at Wetherby Services as my car decided to die there. The rescue couldn't repair it so I had to arrange towing the following day. I was glad I could stay at the hotel: the rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Staff was super helpful and even offered to keep the car key so that I could keep travelling down south while the tow truck was travelling to recover my car. The facilities are good (places to eat and drink) in the area. I could have broken down in a much worse location.

It was not extremely cheap because bought on the day, but still fairly reasonable.

The room was a good size, clean and the bathroom was fabulous, loved the wetroom. I had a comfortable nights sleep even though the bed was a little firmer than I usually prefer. The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. The room was facing the car park and the window opened slightly which was enough to provide a cooling breeze. I live on a busy main road so did not find the noise intrusive, it was what I am used to. Great location!

Nothing really. Although I must admit, having recently returned from Australia and Spain, I found having a small fridge in the room is great for keeping any snacks etc cold, but understand it is not normal in the UK.

Location was fantastic, staff friendly, size of room great, good TV, loved the idea of the shower wet room rather than a shower over the bath. Breakfast was good.

The cleanliness of the room could have been improved on. Carpet was covered in dog hairs, sticky patches on the carpet, oil or tarmac on the desk and kettle tray, one of the bed sheets was clean but heavily stained. The room was very cold when we arrived and took a while for the small electric wall heater to warm the room Hot breakfast limited to sausages, bacon, scrambled egg and beans, very limited selection for vegetarians. Food and drinks weren't clearly labelled with ingredients/allergies.

Rooms good quality and beds nice and comfortable to sleep in. Busy at the time of our visit. Free car parking once registered. Good location off the A1 and varied food facilities at the service station. Bit of green space around the building. Be nice if there were more planting. Nice that they offered breakfast if you wanted it onside.

Had a rear ground floor bedroom, the view was poor due to working area of portacabins and fencing etc right outside the bedroom. The Work people were outside the bedroom window working from 7.30am which woke us up. Had to keep the curtains closed for the duration of the morning to get dressed.

Convenient free parking. Very warm welcome at reception, particularly from Michael, who was very helpful when my room card didn't work when I inserted it wrong way up! All staff were very person oriented, and pleasant. Room very comfortable, and buffet breakfast much better than some other chains. Our first stay with this group. Just a shame that you didn't provide evening meal options, rather than KFC etc!

I had problems when booking,failing to receive confirmations requested, meaning I had to cancel one booking, and make another one, to ensure my booking had been accepted. Very frustrating, even when confirmations promised during phonecalls, failed to arrive.

Location was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the best night sleep I've had in ages. The bar downstairs was very good.The staff were very pleasant.

The only thing that I would say needs changing is the cost of breakfast. If you have a full English breakfast then the price is fair. I do not eat a cooked breakfast and only had a slice of toast and a glass of orange juice. I had to pay the same rate as if I was having a cooked breakfast. So £11.50 for a slice of toast and juice is un exceptable. You need to charge half the price for people who only want a continental breakfast. Other hotels do this.

Very good, location excellent

I booked a twin room, accessible, however on arrival at the hotel I was allocated an accessible room but found it had a double bed, reception very kindly swapped for a twin room explaining that all accessible rooms had double beds. Not all disabled persons are married to their carers, hence the request for a twin accessible room. Consequently using the bathroom was problematic. The hotel was excellent staff very professional and helpful, in every way except one the hotel was faultless. Sad to say I will not be booking Days inn again.
