This place is a little gem. I travel a lot to Weymouth for Work almost weekly and due to places hiking up the prices I stayed at the Driftwood as that was in works budget i am so glad i did. The staff couple where lovely really friendly, explained where everything was the set up lovely hosting i felt really welcome. Free parking and on the drive :) it says no breakfast - but there was a lovely choice, which was clean and tidy and fresh Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits ! biscuit jar was a lovely touch ! Clean and tidy room I was upgraded to a bigger room as well Not to far to walk to the Esplanade - less seagull noises Wifi was great TV in room worked no signal problems and there was a dining room, which was lovely as in some communal spaces you feel like you have to sit with everyone but there was a plenty of tables if you are a bit antisocial like me slept like a baby no noise in evening really lovely stay would defiantly come back

Couldn't fault the place or hosts. Only downside was that someone's kids where up early and a bit noisy

The room was a lovely clean family room with adjoining toilet/shower. My 7 year old loved the bunk bed and my partner and I could keep an eye on him from our almost adjoining bed. The tv in the room had built in Netflix which was great. Breakfast was a self service and on offer were all sorts of fresh/cold items such as cereals, fruits, yoghurts and bread. The dining area also had a warm family feel to it. The hosts are very friendly people who gave advise on the local area and even offered that we use the buckets and spades for a trip to the beach.

To be honest, there wasn't really anything I didn't like about this property!

A nice family room with a small en-suite. On site parking always a benefit. An easy 10 min walk to the beach & town centre. Breakfast was simple but just what we needed. And a special mention that there were a number of Gluten free cereals & a loaf of bread. The Host also said if we had wanted to bring a takeaway back we could use the dining room & utensils.

There are flags outside of our bedroom windows which made noise all night. As it was fairly warm we needed to keep the windows open. I think this is the only room that had them, so you may want to check when booking.

The owners were absolutely superb and could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure my daughter enjoyed her breakfast by going to the shop and buying certain fruits that she liked. Would definitely stay here again, value for money

The room above us were noisy throughout our stay - sometimes until 3am! I don’t know if this was because they were overly noisy or that the walls were thin.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE HOST AND THE ROOM AND SETTING WERE VERY GOOD INDEED. HAD A GOOD NIGHTS SELEEP EXCEPT AROUND 12.30/1AM WHEN THERE WAS A BIT OF DISTURBANCE OUTSIDE THE ROOM

GOOD CLEAN ROOM WITH PLENTY OF SPACE FOR A 1 NIGHT STAY LOO AND SHOWER WERE LOVELY AND CLEAN WITH PLENTY OF TOWELS ACCESS WITH THE KEY SAFE WAS SIMPLE ENOUGHG A PLEASANT STAY AND WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO STAY THERE AGIN NEXT YEAR

The room was spacious and clean. We had a small jar of biscuits and bottles off water that were topped up everyday (great for the kids) The staff were amazing, very welcoming and helpful. They had a dinning room that you could use to eat takeaway meals in, with plates, cutlery and sauces to use. Great location with a safe 5-10 minute walk to the beach and town centre. They had a very big variety of cereals, fruit and juices for breakfast as well as toast, jams, yoghurts tea and coffee which you could help yourself to in the morning. The place had an overall relaxed feel to it, which really made our stay very comfortable

Honestly there wasn't really anything we didn't like. If we had to try and find something then it would be something really silly like the towel were a bit on the small side. This was nothing that bothered our stay or would put us off returning

We just loved the location of the property, value for money . The host is a gem of a person who greets with you a big smile and always ready to help us . The breakfast was awesome and a good spread. Also the beach is walkable distance from the property . Our host helped us in planning our trip to Durdle door . I would love to visit this place again and enjoy the experience

Nothing to complain

Everything was great- the host, friendly vibe of the place, buckets and spades in the porch to borrow, help yourself breakfast, fridge stocked with milk all the time - v handy for early birds like me!

Only slight tiny downside was noisy guests chatting loudly on first night but noise didn’t last for long and we all slept ok.. was never bad enough that we went to complain!

Room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy. I was impressed by what was in the room ie hairdryer, drinks, biscuits, towels etc. I got there quite late in the evening and was asked if I was hungry. Even though breakfast wasnt included I was given a very large choice of tea, coffee, juices, yogurts, fruit, cereals and toast which I could help myself to. Very polite and helpful couple.

Nothing that I did not like about it.

The owner was extremely welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, fresh towels, and plenty of amenities, including snacks and water bottles. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a wide variety of cereals, fruits, and jams to choose from. It's located in a very convenient location which is approx 1miles away from the train station and walkable distance from the beaches.
