It’s a very characterful 17th century old pub hotel right in middle of very attractive Cotswold town . Lively atmosphere in the pub with good restaurant . Hotel rooms spacious and clean . Staff enthusiastic on service if a little unpolished !

The WiFi was a bit 17th century You have to have a night key after midnight as no one on duty like normal city hotel . You never think you’ll be that late but when you’re having fun…,

We were walking the Cotswold Way and the Swan was right on the Route. The Room was beautiful it was very well decorated very airy. The bathroom and shower were brilliant and it was such a nice Space. The evening meal was lovely and the service was ok. There was one lady who was a bit grumpy and sharpe, but to be fair, it did look like they were a little short staffed.

Smooth check-in. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly.

The safety seals on the shower gel were a nightmare to remove, especially as I hadn't anticipated them and once in the shower with them being so small and the tabs to remove them being so small it was impossible. Please make life easy for your guests by supplying easy open shower gel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. We may well be back next year!

Because of the local event, a lot of the guests are likely to come down to breakfast earlier than usual, and there only appeared to be one person working. It meant that service was slow, and the eggs were overcooked.

Well situated hotel for the centre of Wotton. Car park not too far away although some advice on the best place to park would have been nice. Breakfast and staff all good. Nice to have a bar on site with good choice of drinks.

Room a little dark and small but for the price it was fair. Breakfast filling rather than outstanding.

the property seems to be under redeveopment. But that said it seems to be on improving it. Staff were excellent . The rooms were good but interconnecting areas a work in progress. Food in restaurant was excellent.

rashackle interconnecting corridors but it is a work in progress and the owners dream is clearly visible. Keep going!

The staff were helpful and friendly and really added to the quality of our stay The accommodation was being upgraded so could only get better We met a variety of nationalities given its proximity to the Cotswold Way

Lack of a Carpark But not a big issue

Breakfast was good and service efficient.Bar was cosy and again service was very good.Our room was spacious and the bathroom quite luxurious. Food menu looked good although we didn’t have time to try the food.

Unfortunately our room was over the bar and due to the hot evening and windows needing to be open there seem to be a lot of noise which disturbed us till late. Also this room no 1 is on the front of the hotel near the road. So I would definitely book a room at the back of the hotel if possible.

The property was very clean, the room we stayed in had a really good shower, but the food was absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault one thing about it, anyone who stays here will be pleasantly surprised, and the Guinness was also very good ( that’s important )

The only one small thing if I’m being picky was the bed creaked and the mattress wasn’t amazing but still slept well hence the 9/10

Friendly staff in a pleasant hotel/pub in a quiet village that is convenient for northern Bristol.

Parking was OK (in a car park up the street) over the quiet Xmas period, but might be a problem in busier times.
