The location in Point Loma is excellent. You’re close to downtown, and close to the beaches. The marina is right across the street, with good restaurants and a great place for a morning or evening walk. Quiet neighborhood, peaceful and clean. The Point Loma Cafe (hotel restaurant) is wonderful for breakfast. Our server, Bing, felt like a friend, and the food was very good

the old part of the hotel is a bit dated. clean, but not modern. the Bayside Bar, which is open in evenings, was the polar opposite of the Point Loma Cafe…bad service, the food was not good, overpriced. the staff were arguing openly the entire time we were there. take my advice, avoid the place.

Very spacious room. It looked like it was recently updated. It was nice to have a fridge, microwave, desk and extra chair with an ottoman. Though we were right by the pool, it was insulated well enough that we could not hear anyone. Fantastic location near the water and lots of restaurants. Close to the airport as well, but out of the flight path so you couldn't hear the planes taking off.

The shower and toilet were in a separate room, across the entry, from the sink. It wasn't a bad thing, just a little awkward and unexpected layout. Also had to use the room key to enter and exit the parking lot.

3 weeks later, and am still waiting for my $50 deposit to be returned and payment to process. 3 calls to IHG, 3 to the Hotel, 2 emails and 2 voicemails later and I'm told that it's been processed. At 30 days, the charge gets cancelled and my stay was free! Good Grief! Show some courtesy to your Rewards members (14+ years) pretty please? This is a deal breaker for me and my travel planning...

came into town early and needed rooms sooner. hotel was able to provide one of the two requested rooms but we greatly appreciated they could accommodate us at all at a full hotel. the hotel has by far some of the best amenities outside of a dedicated resort. pool, jacuzzi were well maintained and very clean. putting greens, ping pong, and kids games were very nice touches. the location was very convenient for getting around town.

one of the nights there was a loud party at pool. hotel is in the flight path of the airport. the rooms are very soundproof so that was never an issue,, but outdoors they can be distracting. breakfast was included in our reservations, but use a sit down cafe to provide it. we are more used to a quick grab it and go buffet style.

We specifically asked for “newer” section. It was great! Not sure what older section is like.

Close to the bay, everything in San Diego feels within 15 min one way or another.

The pool/golf/relaxing area was beautiful and so peaceful to hang out at. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean and staff was so friendly. The location is unbeatable and the views of the harbor were unbeatable. We walked to an amazing dinner at Mitch's Seafood, then to Eppig Brewing (both right on the water) and enjoyed a stroll along the harbor watching the sunset. The location of this hotel is amazing.

Close to the airport, but no noticeable plane noise in the room. Convenient shuttle bus from/to airport. Room was clean and comfortable. Cafe & bar staff were friendly. Little area at reception where you could buy snacks & drinks. Loads to do including 9-hole putting green (club hire free), table tennis, corn-hole, giant connect 4 etc, as well as pool, gym. On site laundry was very handy!

We opted for a pool day one day, but the bar beside the pool didn’t open til 5 (even for soft drinks). Also, I booked this hotel to include breakfast. The reality was a $30 breakfast voucher between 4 of us.

The receptionist was very helpful. We requested to leave our bags at the hotel at 10am as check was at 4 but they allowed us to check in at 10 as the room was available. Also allowed a late check out as we had a later flight out of San Diego.

Parking should be free for guests.

This staff is exceptional. Everyone here is super helpful and kind -I could not have had a better experience.

There’s nothing wrong with the property. It’s just not super fancy. The only thing it needs is coffee however there is coffee in the room, but it would be nice if there was a coffee shop !

the location was great ! there were many great restaurants in walking distance. the bed and pillows were very comfortable . It was nice to have the pool, their own restaurant and bar near the hotel. I was always seeing maids and maintenance working so it was a well maintained hotel. They also responded to any requests like blankets . They also moved us due to a leaky air conditioner in the room .

The bathroom counter space was very small, the rooms in general were dated . I usually don’t mind but the price per night was insane for this hotel. It had a motel feel to it and needs updating
