Myself and two friends came to Santa Cruz for a quick get away. We are three older ladies, our room was on the second floor the room was nice, view was remarkably beautiful. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we left. Easy walk to the beach, pier, and boardwalk. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning, cookies in the afternoon, and cheese and wine in the evenings. It was a safe place to sit by a fire in a private spot on the property and enjoy the amenities and sites.

The private sitting areas, enjoying the fire pits, and the security. We felt completely comfortable enjoying the sounds of the waves knowing we were safe.

The location with ocean views allowed us to listen to waves all night. The grounds are pleasant to sit in and watch the coastal life. The breakfast each morning offered a good variety of foods to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the blueberry scones and the yogurt parfaits. Offering free parking and a free breakfast is a positive incentive to bring us back.

We wish there were more restaurants within walking distance. The selection is limited to the wharf and the Boardwalk.

The location can’t be beat. The views both in the morning in the evening or wonderful.

The rooms have no air conditioning. Not even a ceiling fan, which would have helped give some breeze in the room. It was warm and stuffy. It would have also been nice to have had a full length mirror on the inside of the closet door. Two very simple fixes that would have made for a nicer stay.

The view was outstanding from our room to the private property. Loved the seating arrangements to choose from. All with a view.

Had cleaning services every day but we were given one washcloth on day 2 and none for day 3. Asked the front desk for 2 washcloths and she brought was 2 hand towels because she said they didn't have any.

Beautiful views, private patio with locked gates all around. I love that you can hear the sounds of the waves crashing all night long.

The bathroom door does not lock. I didn't like this because i couldn't shower without my little one getting in and slipping on the floor.

The view was amazing! We loved the convenience factor of the location being so close to the beach, Boardwalk and Peir. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved that parking was available at no additional cost.

The bathroom door didn't close all the way. Rooms could use some minor updating/fixing. But, we were not in our room very long, so it was not a big deal.

Gabby is your best asset! You can tell she loves her job and her customers. I could go on and on about her but I’m afraid you’ll promote her to another SeaSide Co property. She’s the best thing at Sea&Sand!

Wi-Fi kept going out and getting spotting around 1:30 everyday. Made it hard to work.

location, staff:),value,parking,breakfast,afternoon cookie and cheese & wine, felt safe. I showed up for coffee at 6:30am (instead of 7)and the staff accommodated my need :) blinds in the room, fireplace and the view of the ocean:)

pretty close to street traffic with police activity across the street which woke us up.

I love staying at the this hotel. I come several times a year and enjoy the location and the service. The grounds are wonderful for enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine.

The breakfast was good, it had the basic food to start the day.

The bathroom was to small, no place where to put stuff in the sink. No pane window to lower the outside noise. Before I left visited the suites, small tub. No jacuzzi for the guests.
