It feels like glamping. A little cleaner than camping, but still camping. That means the floors of the cabins will be dirty with mud, but the bed is clean and an actual bed, there’s bathroom facilities out there in a short walk (but also with mud). Overall well planned, but it’s not a clean clean environment or vacation. There are signs about hantavirus everywhere
There could be more lights or a clear remark saying that you need flashlights (or even head lights). At night when you shower or go to the bathroom, that’s outside the cabins and the walk there can be long and for sure dark. Could also have a better system to not make the floors so muddy everywhere. Maybe a couple of towels or carpets at the entryways to clean the shoes

The perfect place to stay in the heart of the park. A great hikers atmosphere in the village, with the common room and restaurants. Very easy access to some incredible trails either by walking or frequent shuttle.
Manage your expectations, you are staying in a tent.

I like everything in this camp
1. I had to go outside of the tent for a shower and using the restroom. 2. the facility of the unheated tent showed the heating on booking. com is wrong. But the staff was kindly help me switch to heated tent with a little bit extra fee

Camp Curry is an awesome way to experience Yosemite NP and the Yosemite Valley as well. The location is centralized in the park, has every amenity you need when camping (showers, dining hall, clean bathrooms), and is located very close to shuttle stops that take you everywhere in the park. The dining hall provides hot water, and guests can use two microwaves that are available. Since I visited solo, it was easy to heat pre-prepped food that I had brought over. Wifi isn't all too bad, but is only available in the dining hall. Staying at this camp is awesome if you're looking to truly experience the nature and beauty that Yosemite provides. The heated tents are a must for the colder seasons, but I can imagine the non-heated tents are great during warmer climate seasons.
My only issue is that despite having the heater, things were very cold at night when it snowed (I'd even brought an extra blanket). On nights without snow, the heater was very solid and kept the tent/cabin very cozy. Snow, on the other hand, accumulated on the roof of the tent, which kept the internal temperature much cooler resulting in the heater not being as effective. However, it's not like this is a situation that can't be remedied. There are blankets provided by the camp, and one should always check weather conditions when planning a NP trip.

The location is very convenient. There is a nice store in the area and food options. They also have a lounge where we hung out for a while and it was nice and warm. You can’t cook right there but we found a picnic area less than 10 minutes away where we could use a grill. I always found the bathrooms clean which is something I really appreciate.
The tents are very close to each other and you can hear everything. In my case the people next to us had a dog and kids. They started making noise even before sunrise. I also would suggest to provide more blankets at least during winter time. Luckily I read some reviews before the trip and decided to bring extra blankets from home.

November 2024
Just for the experience, camping in November was great and the view is beautiful. The night was one of the first coldest of the season when we arrived and it was great to have a heated tent. Beds are simple with a cover and a very thin blanket so without heating you would need lots of layers (in cold night). Finding the place at night was a bit of a problem. Everything is poorly lit (which is brilliant once you are used to the dim light!) and signage are very hard to see at dark so don't arrive late at the place. The queue for the check in was very long with a mix of people queuing to be checked in or others from the camp asking for informations/questions. The food on site is a bit pricey but the pizzas very delicious and big. Cooking your own food on site or eating in your own tent are forbidden and would be problematic as it attracts bears so everything has to be locked away at night (even food left in your car). The communal shower rooms and toilets are fine and clean.
It really feels like a business more than a relaxing place to stay with so many people cramped into a campsite with tent next to each others and wood log cabins too. Parking is away from the tent (which is perfect as it means no car traffic in camp) but car needs to be all emptied.

Perfect location, friendly staff, cozy tents, fresh towels if needed, extra blankets if needed, good service.
Cleanliness (restroom, showers) could be way better, you’re not allowed to cook or eat in or around the tents, guest lodge etc.. also you’re not allowed to do a camp fire (300 feet on another camp everything was allowed - doesn’t make sense to me?!) - very disappointing and would be worth to mention in the booking or description.

The location is perfect, our stay was very enjoyable, we were there at the end of November and it was very cold, but its facilities meet the expectations for a trip with friends or family. There is heating in bathrooms, in tents, there is a gift shop, and the food vending place is extraordinary to take shelter from the cold drinking a hot tea or coffee. The proximity to hiking is wonderful, wherever you walk you find a beautiful place to enjoy. I loved the place, I would go back a thousand times.👍
I liked everything

It was completely worth every penny for the location and the cute village feel Curry Village has. The pizza was amazing and I didn’t expect there to be a shop but there was and it had loads of stuff
The bedroom lock, when locking from the inside was flimsy. As a solo traveller it didn’t make me feel very safe. Even something very basic but more secure would be an improvement. The bedding is definitely not enough to keep you warm itself. I’d recommend bringing a sleeping bag. It gets really cold at night. The heater was powerful though!

I stayed in an unheated cabin for one night. It was verry clean and two woolen blankets have been provided for free. The staff was super kind and helpfull. A broken lightbulb has been replaced within 10 Minutes. The restrooms are heated and really clean. (The cleaning scedules rotates so there is allways at least one facility open. There are bear-save lockers where the luggage can be stored in in case you arrive early or on the day of departure. The campsite itself lies directly at a bus station for both, the yarts and the free valley shuttle which is verry convinient. I definetely would stay there again.
The wifi works only in the lounge/food area of the campsite but because the coverage in the valley is great this is only a minor issue. During my stay the saves did not work which did not impact me personally but is worth to mention.
