The common area of the hotel ( the deck, the restaurant, the pool, the fireplace ) is just amazing! We truly enjoyed swimming in the pool and enjoying the views!

The room by itself (we had a queen room) is ridiculously small. The pictures on Booking didn’t match the factual room at all. The bathroom is so small (I’m a 0 size person), that even for me it was hard to shower there. The view from the room… no view at all. Even no assigned parking spot!!!! We didn’t like that, while paying approx $300per night… and yeap, still mo breakfast at all for that price )))

Beautiful place, great food and amazing location. The view from the main porch is just stunning. The food in the restaurant was great compared to the prices, better tham most restaurants I came across during my stay at Colorado (I have to admit I haven't gone to many foodies locations during my stay) It was quite and pleasant, the pool and hot tub were clean and nice and that was exactly what we were hoping for after 4 long days of camping at the RMNP - I would totally recommend staying at the GLL and would for sure come back there as soon as I get the chance.

The beauty of the property

There was no attempt to follow ADA guidelines: no railings to the main entrance, our cabin and many other places. We realize that the property is historical but there needs to be more railings for safety. We helped an elderly couple walk to their cabin. Staff should have been available to assist. More signage is needed for check-in. We carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs and was then told at the desk that we needed to drive to our assigned cabin. We carried the heavy suitcases down the stairs to put them back in the trunk.

The view, the amenities, the charm, Grand Lake Lodge is such a treat to visit. The cabins are quaint, but have all the essentials needed to make your stay comfortable. I loved getting to sample the spa bath products. The view from the lodge and fire pit cannot be beat! Treat yourself to a drink on the patio after a long day of hiking and watch the sunset. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back.

The rooms are small, but have all the essentials. Not an issue for us as we were out and about most of the day.

the staff are incredible. Excellent wifi available, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was small and parking was a bit difficult - couldn't get close to the cabin for unloading luggage. Bathroom was small but pristine. The food in the restaurant was awesome! the lodge has a lot of character and the property is gorgeous. Million dollar views from the porch! I really appreciate how pet friendly this place is! And i love staying at a historic hotel at RMNP!

Room size. a little small. But really this is a minor issue. I would totally come again.

The location was beautiful. The biggest part of what I liked about the property is that commuting to activities took around an hour out and back to the property. It gave a lot of time to sight see. Local people probably take the view for granted, but there was always something to look at, especially considering the snowfall that had occurred prior to my arrival.

Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The location is near the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, making an early arrival there easy. Outstanding views. A wonderful walkway between the lodge and the cabins. Modern, comfortable bathroom in the cabin.

The restaurant in the lodge, while serving excellent food, was very expensive. The forced air heat in the cabin kept the cabin warm and snug, but was a little noisy.

The location, the staff, the bar/restaurant, the decorations... everything seems to be perfectly adapted for a pleasant and unforgettable stay.

It is a little too expensive. The cabins may be a little bit old. Some of the windows are stuck and impossible to open but when you finally do it, you notice the mosquito net is broken and the little bugs are coming in.

The location was great, a great view to see the town of Grand Lake. A few minutes driving to get to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. The pool was great to play with my kid. The staff very helpful and friendly.

The cabin was great but they are small size room. However, the comfortable bed and its location compensated it. Also, even though the food is delicious, I will recommend to add some additional appetizers to the menu.

The location is outstanding.

I didn't realize how small the rooms were. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room, although we were able to go down to the Lodge to get coffee without charge. When we went to the Lodge on the porch at 7:30 am, it would have been preferable to have quiet with such a gorgeous view. Instead there was loud, bass music which detracted from the beauty. We did speak to a couple of people about that. The staff was very amiable.
