Very nice boutique hotel. Decorated beautifully. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bar, restaurant on main floor. and really good baked goods. Will stay there again.

Parking lot was challenging and our last night we had to park across the street in a dentist's parking lot. Parking lot is for guests and people that just come to eat and drink.

Very nice historical building. The interior of the Hotel is super charming and the rooms, even though are in an old building, are nicely decored in modern style. Comfortable bed and right size room for two people. Super nice staff at reception, very kind and they provided with lots of information and foc water. The bar of the Hotel is super nice and very good for having breakfast in the morning. Great location to walk around St Petersburg. Just outside the hotel there is the bus stop of the looper (the foc public trolley) which can be used to move around the city. The car can be conveniently parked in the area next to the hotel.

A bit too little bathroom.

We were surprised to find out that the hotel offers a free shuttle to all the local destinations from downtown to the museums and theaters. ( no driving in St Pete traffic or struggling to find parking ) Just park at the hotel and they do the rest. Gregg the shuttle driver is a great guy and very helpful. We caught a show at the Mahaffey, he dropped us off and picked us up a few hours later, it couldn't have been easier for us. Our Room was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a lot of charm and the entire staff is probably the best we have ever met at any hotel we've stayed at. The food was very good and Michelle our waitress at the poolside dining was fantastic. We are already planning to go back in March.

Location is excellent for most activities downtown. Staff was good and professional. The bar/restaurant downstairs was just wonderful, great food, excellent beer selection, and server was outstanding.

Walls/doors are a bit thin but this is a 'legacy' hotel and not unexpected. Room was small but fine, they need more hardware to hang things on the wall outside of the bathroom. There is a desk but the chair was a bit uncomfortable and it was difficult for my wife and I to find a setup to 'hang out' in the room. Fortunately there was a nice space by the elevators with comfortable couches and chairs to sit and drink a bit of wine.

We booked multiple rooms at The Hollander and their sister property next door, The Avalon, for our daughter's wedding October 2024. To say we were delighted was an understatement!! Chris was amazing, helping us coordinate rooms, deliver welcome bags to guests, notifying us as rooms became available for check-in and so much more! Every interaction was amazing, from Chris & Jeff at the front-desk, to house-keeping, to the Tap Room and Pool Bar. Our guests were delighted with the experience. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to down-town, with ample FREE parking, although the spaces are a little tight, so bring your smaller cars if possible. Such a great all around vibe and we can't wait to come back again!!

Research showed that this was going to be the best mix of location, price and comfort for my trip and I feel 100% that this was right. Great older building and nice lobby. Parking was convenient and easy. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and eating our takeout dinner from La Teresita. I worried this was going to be a bit of a party place but it was quiet enough to get good rest for a high stakes work trip with early mornings.

You need to be ready for a very small, and pretty dark room. Wood floors in hallway that make noise. I was top floor and I worry what it would have been like with a room above. Some would call this a "European style hotel" due to these features. I was willing to accept this in order to get a good price and a historic hotel vibe.

Nostalgic atmosphere decor from the early to late 30's possibly. Pool area was lovely peaceful & relaxing. Food was delicious big portions though, guess being in America 🇺🇸 it normally is. The staff were very pleasant & accommodated our needs especially for our granddaughters who were picky with the food, they got a free dessert each for eating what they could. Rooms were cool as AC was working properly as it was extremely hot outside.

The coffee pot had hair inside so refused to use it, didn't say nothing just left it open for the housekeeper to clean. Rooms smelt slightly moldy but it was sort of a weird fresh smell.

The location was perfect - close to downtown restaurants and attractions. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and spacious. The hotel restaurant had a great selction and tasty foods and drinks.

The bathroom was very small. I was glad I wasn't sharing it with anyone. It would be tough for two people with limited counter space. While I understand the party pool is a BIG Sunday attraction - it's over-the-top for those who are hotel guests and want to spend time relaxing. I walked out and turned around. Not a good vibe when you're paying for you get-away.

Its an older hotel refurbished. Absolutely beautiful . Pool area lovely , indoor outdoor restaurant convenient reasonable pricing . Location so close to everything we wanted to do . Staff super friendly . Well staffed facility. The room was spotless and the bed very comfy. All I can say is , I was skeptical when we booked but I wanted to be with our other parties at same hotel . I was not disappointed , pleasantly surprised So happy we booked here .

I would have liked larger shampoo conditioner bottles for our use, as in the newer hotels . Thats a small thing definitely not a deal breaker . Next time bring my own from home Not a big deal.

What an amazing boutique hotel! The location is about 3 blocks from the main restaurant areas of town, and the parking is free - and it is a short walk to the Coliseum. I thought the staff there - from the desk staff to the restaurant to the cleaning staff - all ranked as just outstanding. I loved the holiday setup and tree and the fireplace as you walked in, and the breezeway set up of tables outside at the front... it was beautiful! The room itself was very nice with a AC unit. There were a few spots were you could tell it had been restored... but the room itself was very clean. Nice soft bed and nice old school type of shower too. I would definitely stay here again when have to overnight in ST Pete!
