Accommodations were perfect for our trip. If you're looking for a lavish breakfast, staff readily available to cater to your every need and high thread count sheets, this might not be the place for you. However, if you have a sense of adventure and want to be close to the hot spots, Fleur De Lis Mansion is the place to be! I would rebook here with no hesitation what-so-ever. - Location is PRIME. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't need it again until we left. Walking distance to just about everything, including the trolley, which will get you everywhere else! - Kitchen was well stocked with eggs, bagels/cream cheese and coffee. That was all we needed to start our daily adventures. - The patio/hot tub area is AWESOME. Yes, it's under the interstate! But it's comfortable, private and a perfect place to enjoy that cup of coffee before venturing out into the city. - We came to NOLA to appreciate (among other things) the amazing architecture... Fleur De Lis Mansion fed that appreciation! Beautiful building, funky outdoor areas, details for days. And less than 2 blocks from well established residential areas with tons of amazing homes to see!

Need to update the mattresses! At least the one in the Hollywood Room (that's right) needs replaced.

We stayed at Fleur De Lis the week prior to christmas and had a fantastic stay. I don’t stay in super luxury places often but to me this definitely felt vintage luxury and in no way run down. Check in/out were easy and the stay was very private. There were other guests staying there but it still felt like we had the whole mansion to ourselves. We stayed in the Royal Suite which has a large private balcony, a jacuzzi tub, and private outside shower. There is also a 10 person hot tub in the back of the mansion. Our room was clean and absolutely gorgeous with 6 chandeliers, a huge leather sofa, beautiful vanity and full body mirrors. The house and our room has a baroque design and felt so nostalgic. I truly don’t see how anyone could write this place a bad review. There are plenty of great walkable restaurants/coffee shops and the walk to bourbon street took only 25 mins. The walk there also lets you see some of the gorgeous nearby architecture (an uber to bourbon was between $2-$6 from the mansion). Also a 20 minute walk to the haunted Pontchartrain hotel which has the Hot Tin rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the city. There was also complimentary breakfast bagels which we weren’t expecting and no issues with street parking or internet. We even brought our small dog and there were no issues about that either, she loved the balcony. 10/10 we will absolutely be back for longer next time.

We LOVED the Fleur De Lis Mansion! We stayed in the Champagne room for 2 nights and didn’t want to leave. The room was beautiful and historic and quirky and so very New Orleans. It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The area was extremely safe and we were able to leave our car parked there and uber to and from the French Quarter for $6. The common areas were beautiful. We loved that the kitchen was “serve yourself”. There were other people staying there but we barely saw them and it truly felt like we had the whole house to ourselves. I can’t say enough about that HOT TUB!!! It’s amazing and we want one for our own home now! We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

We loved everything!

The room was comfortable for the most part, definitely a solid NOLA style room which was fun.

I wish I would have known we were staying off of a busy road with our room being right in the front of the house. We did hear traffic noise pretty much all night but that’s not a huge issue. I also wish I realized that the toilet was part of the room essentially, my boyfriend and I got unusually close on a whole new level after this stay, haha. The shower being outdoors was also a new experience for me.

We stayed in the Fleur de Lis suite, and it is very spacious and beautiful. The property is gorgeous with apparent care in restoration. The bed was very comfortable and the spa tub was a welcomed addition. While the property is located beneath an interstate, it was surprisingly quiet! Lots of extras including outdoor hot tub and theater screening are included. The owners were incredibly responsive and over-the-top helpful!

While the 7-headed shower was very cool, we could only figure out how to get 4 of them to work. Parking could be problematic, but this is not the fault of the property owners.

we loved the stay, went and bought groceries and didn't realize the kitchen had some breakfast items but that is okay. the middle handle in the shower in our room, was broken off and sharp, so I cut my finger on it. but nothing serious, just something that will need to be replaced. I saw the other pieces to the handle in the drawer in the bathroom so looks like it had been broken for a little while

headboard was a little dirty, you could see handprints or smear marks on it. but it wasn't near our head so that is okay. otherwise besides the broken shower knob, everything was great

We actually stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at the Magazine Mansion due to a double booking at Fleur De Lis. The location was in the lower Garden District close to all the wonderful restaurants and shopping on Magazine Street. It was also very close to the bus line and walkable to the St. Charles streetcar. The property was lovely and decorated very nicely. The house had been completely redone inside blending current design trends with the Old World charm of New Orleans. We got to meet Jim, the host/ owner upon check in and he gave us some restaurant recommendations. He also was very accommodating by allowing us to check in early as well as leave our luggage there as we had a later flight on our return home. There is also a luggage lockbox in the gated courtyard behind the home. There is hot tub and seating in the courtyard as well as bicycles available to borrow. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting New Orleans and hope to return soon!

Odd but cool and convenient place for one night's stay. Not much interaction with the staff since there were code locks to all doors and the front gate, but we met one of the owners and a friend of his and they were very friendly and helpful. Had no trouble finding free parking a couple of blocks down the same street after offloading our luggage in front of the accomodation.

The surroundings felt safe enough but maybe not the most picturesque with visible concrete highway overpasses within just a stone's throw. However, we were aware of this and in some ways it is part of the experience visiting the urban area of a major city.

kitchen was very well stocked. i brought my own meals and cooked. you do need a slotted in the utensil carousel . we absolutely loved the facilities and the room. it was spectacular! did hear other guests comment on the breakfast. they were not too impressed with bagels. but we loved them. I could not get the tv or bed to work and within minutes of texting the staff they were there and resolved the issue. very impressive!

honestly i would not call the pool a pool. it was more of a giant hot tub extension. still was enjoyable. Our room needed an oscillating fan for sure. we found a fan downstairs and brought it up for the second night and it was so much better! the air is cool but with the high ceilings still slightly uncomfortable for sleeping. fan just makes it perfect.. only thing i would add. everything else was superb!

I liked that everything had coded locks, cameras, the shared kitchen with amenities was a beautiful touch, lots of different areas and things to relax all around the property.

Flight got in late so it was very dark when arriving as all the outside features were new to me and hard to see in the dark so at first was very wary but in the daylight I saw that it in fact was beautiful and not creepy. I also did not know which room we would be in so walking into a room of completely mirrors was disconcerting and funny but we got used to it quickly.
