I've stayed at a variety of different hotels within and outside the county, and my stay at Auberge NOLA was easily the greatest hostel experience I've ever had. The staff were incredibly helpful, fun, kind, and caring. Shout-out to Gabe, Kat, Emma, & Myrridas for being such amazing human beings! They made this so much more of an experience rather than just a place to stay and my trip wouldn't have been nearly as great without them being there. It's a prime location where you can get to all the major attractions on foot, by bus/street car, or a very short Uber. The common area was super cozy and the backyard area was such a great place to hang out and chat with other guests, as well as the kitchen. All the amenities you need are there and you've also got a Walgreens, liquor store, and multiple restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the place. I got the privilege of getting to spend extra time with staff members Gabe and Kat and I appreciate both of them so much. They made it so much more fun and comfortable for everyone. I went in hoping for a nice place to stay and I got to share my trip with a family of new friends at Auberge and it was seriously an experience I will never forget and one that I am so incredibly grateful for. If I'm ever back in NOLA I will definitely be staying here again, 10/10 would recommend

Nothing! Everything and everyone was amazing

Very clean specially the bathrooms and all other spaces as well, the decoration is beautiful and they have everything you need. The crew that works there is very nice and friendly and always cheering up everyone to small parties before going to explore the city, they even did a delightful barbecue and always recommend good and cheap places around to go when they have good prices, like the taco day. Perfect. 😌

Only con is the noise of the bed, if I move just a bit doing an annoying noise. But apart from that, everything was perfect!

Positive friendly environment. The energy was chill and inviting. The location is wonderful. You can get to great places quickly from the spot by foot. The street car is only a block up, on st Charles! It’s definitely in my favorites list for hostels. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bunks have plenty of head space. It’s a beautiful place. Great front porch. Great courtyard. They were BBQ’ing when I arrived. The downstairs bathroom is a single so you have the whole thing to yourself for showering and general bathroom needs. I’m not sure about the upstairs.

I don’t have complaints.

Beautiful Victorian house, comfortable and clean, lots of sharing places to hang out (+courtyard), super friendly staff with nights event/out almost every eve 🥳 House is big enough to keep to yourself if you prefer it sometimes and enjoy chill dinner/movie night 👌🏼 Convenient location, 20min away in Streetcar from nightlife/French Quarter, 10min walk from Magazine Street/Garden District! Speciaaal thank to Kat, you’re such a gem 😚😚

Missing a chocolate bar in the kitchen 💁🏻‍♀️

Best hostel I was at in the US! Very social, amazing staff, and the facilities are great and clean! Every night the staff organizes an activity and people go out to the city together. The hostel is close to the street car and a few bars and restaurants. It's a morning's walk distance from the french quarter.

The office closes at 17:00, so make sure to check in beforehand - but the staff is always there if you really need something.

It was clean comfortable, all the Dorms are passcode locked. Communal showers and bathrooms always stocked and clean. They have pregame and activities everyday gives you a great scope of the city with people who know a lot more. Staff gave me loads of recommendations.

Pregame can get pretty loud and continue into the night - however where my room situated is was never a problem. That is just to b mindful of other people who may not want this.

It is clean and nice hostel, which is located in a good location in the neighboorhood of the garden district. Also a streetcar and multiple bus stations are in the surrounding area. But the part, which made the stay expectional, was the crew of volunteers, who organised events every evening and created a nice atmosphere to connect with them and other guests.

The bed was a little bit short.

I just spent 4 days at Auberge NOLA and I honestly didn't want to leave. New Orleans is a magical city and this hostel fits right in 😊 the staff are wonderful and welcoming, the house is spacious and comfortable and hospitable and I've never before had such an easy time of meeting wonderful people. Do yourself a favour and plan an extended stay! There's so much to see and experience in Nola, you definitely won't get bored.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Hostel is located near the beautiful Garden district, and easy to get to French Quarter by foot or tram. The hostel itself is clean, spacious and well decorated. Lucia and Robert, the owners, love what they do in life. You feel like you are visiting relatives, that are always opened to hangout with you and show you around. It was the best hostel experience in my life.

That I had to leave

It was my second time there but surely not the last one, because: - perfect combination of a party hostel and a homie one; if you want to party or socialize- you’re in the right spot; if you need some time alone - you can easily find a space to work or chill on your own; - clean and tidy, both rooms as well as bathrooms and common areas; - great location - just 2 minutes to a streetcar, but also it’s located in a walking distance to the French Quarter, Magazine Street or the Garden District; - a lot of common areas - front porch, backyard, common room with tv, big kitchen, working space; - last but not the least important- staff: international, social, helpful, vibrant; both working staff and the owners.

You can always find something negative, but definitely nothing that can negatively influence your stay; if I was forced to give any example I would say that the lockers could be slightly bigger; but it’s really not a big deal
