We stayed in a second floor suite. Lots of space and plenty of room to fix meals, store food or leftovers, etc. It had a very NOLA ambience that we enjoyed. Lots of helpful information and staff at the front desk. Cheaper than staying directly in French Quarter and was easily walkable. There was a nice little pub right down the street for a quick lunch or stop as well that was inexpensive. We enjoyed watching the Saints game there.

This is so silly, but the only thing we would have liked was better lighting in the room. It was tough to do my hair and make up because it was so dark. We moved a few lamps around and it worked and was not a deal breaker at all.

Location was awesome, within walking distance from everywhere we wanted to visit in New Orleans. We liked that it was a smaller boutique hotel with only a few other guests staying there. The front entrance required a code which made it feel very safe. We had a dishwasher, stove, iron, pots and pans, mini fridge/freezer and everything needed for our stay. The water pressure for showers was really good and we never ran out of hot water. Check-in and check-out were super easy and we had no issues.

The furniture and sheets were outdated. One of our dining chairs kept breaking.

Beautiful space!!! Well decorated, clean, nice amenities and the staff is SO SWEET!!!! We were able to check in early upon our arrival and we were given so much information about the city and local spots! Great location, easy to get to all of our destinations in a short walk. Comfy bed too!! Would definitely stay here again! Stayed for the Eras Tour weekend and they decorated for the occasion and even had out some extra treats during the day!!

Room was clean and comfortable, would be perfect for an extended stay. After hours check-in was easy (always a relief), and staff were lovely.

My room was pretty dark, and several of the lamps in the room didn’t turn on. Pic is from my late night arrival, all the lights I could turn on are on. This is genuinely my only complaint. If I had been less busy, was staying longer, or needed the room for more than just sleeping I would have tried to troubleshoot the lamps but it didn’t really matter for my short trip. Just wish there was more light.

I went to New Orleans for a work conference and was delighted to find this hotel at a great price just round the corner from the conference centre. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. Self check in was clearly explained. The manager also puts a fresh pot of coffee in the foyer in the morning which was really lovely.

The room I had did not have windows, but I didn't mind because I wasn't in there during the day. If you plan on spending lots of time in your room then maybe contact the hotel to request a room with a window. The manager is very nice and I'm sure they will help you out.

I loved how homie the room felt. It had an antique vibe, clean, smelled fresh and came with all of your necessities - including a kitchenette! The building was mostly quiet. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The building is in walking distance of our favorite restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Very little details: the tub was very high up for my short legs to step in, but the shower head was exactly at my height. The toilets water pressure was low. We had to wait for water to fill the tank to flush.

Location, size of room, interesting architecture. It's an adapted old brick fire station with nice traditional craftsmanship & embellishments (huge chandelier, ornate woodwork & extensive crown mouldings) made into a high-end timeshare in the 90s. Since then, there has been a bit lax maintenance and investment but, it still works for the most part. The mattress in our unit was sagging somewhat, there were several burned out bulbs, low-end tvs, microwave, etc., A slightly rusting kitchen sink etc. This didn't detract much from the stay for us, but for anyone expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel, they may be disappointed. We liked the quirks and the wonderful staff, but we told them the mattress was not satisfactory.i hope they take a little more effort to maintain things because this iplace s a gem that just needs a little more love to stay viable. We will definitely stay here again if we can see reviews that indicate the needed maintenance and mattresses are being addressed. The rate is definitely discounted to account for this so, as long as you dont need perfection, it's a great place to stay. Other huge pluses are the very short walk to the Quarter, a quieter street than most, many great - even iconic- restaurants and bars within 3 blocks.

Older mattress, low quality tvs, a few light bulbs out, some deferred maintenance... Not a huge deal breaker at all but, would prefer these were addressed. We knew most of these things from prior reviews.

I liked that we could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The room was very clean. The bed was great, very comfortable. The restaurants that were close by were very good.

The only thing I didn’t like was getting into the shower. It was a very tall tub(a spa tub?) with a very big step to get in. For us older people it’s not good. Would rather have a walk in shower.

That was the second best hotel room bed I have ever slept in. The location for Mardi Gras is unbelievably perfect. I really don' want this secret to get out. That's how much we were pleased with this property

There is no available parking and again, I'm from the city and worked as a NOPD officer for 26 years, the last 3 in that area so I know what to do about parking, but it would be great if a deal could be arranged between that property and a parking Garage such as Harrah's Casino garages. One Right behind the property. But that's where I park and it works out ok. Cheaper than most hotel lots and garages anyway. And if you gamble at the casino you can get free or discounted parking.

Location, Room Size and unique layout. Had a nice crew of adults and kids visiting during the parade and we were comfortable lounging around waiting to go out to catch the parades each day. Such a short distance from the route and able to catch parades at multiple locations. The price for this room was almost like staying for free considering the full kitchen allowing us to store and cook food saving hundreds per day on restaurant options.

Full sized refrigerator. would have made kitchen better (But we managed ok for two days. I think a longer stay would have required an ice chest). No associated parking. I knew to park in Harrah's Garage, but this wasn't mentioned in room information, I think. Harrah's is a great option, and this should be mentioned
