I had GREAT customer service from the first day I came to the property, Antoine was super nice and welcoming. He made conversation with us and was very friendly. He has great customer service, he was very knowledgeable, greet us with a smile and he gave us brochure. We ate breakfast there twice and the lady and gentleman was great making food was constantly there. I ask for something and they got it for me and smile. I meant Essence when we where leaving, great customer service. I would definitely recommend and would definitely return to this hotel. I wish I could do something for them other than a review!

The property was close to the downtown area and extremely convenient for my boyfriend and I. John at the front desk was exceptional and helpful. We arrived a little early but he was able to upgrade us to one of their lovely suites not too long after we arrived. The two ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful as well with information and the checking out process. All in all, we will definitely be back again to stay at this lovely property. 10/10 highly recommend.!!

The hotel was experiencing difficulties with the elevators which was a MAJOR inconvenience for guests. We plan to make a trip back soon and stay at this same location again so I’m hoping things will be resolved with the elevators by then. The staff were polite about informing us about the elevators which helped put me at ease. We had to use the service elevator a few times as a result but it wasn’t a hassle.

Some pluses didn't work in room or the room phone didn't work

We arrived early in the day well before checkin time and I just went in to double check about the parking and my reservation and the manager on duty checked us in early!!! When we came back after walking the French Quarter to relax the TV wasn't functioning but a staff came to repair it and was very friendly and promptly took care of the problem. Breakfast staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The price of the parking garage was economical compared to others in the quarter, it's located behind the hotel and the area was what I expected from a large urban center. The elevator was in working order and yes it is small but it's a beautiful historic building it adds to the charm in my mind.

Didn't have anything that disappointed me about this stay.

It was a great spot to be able to walk everywhere we went without anybody having to worry about drinking and driving. They also had an area where we could store our luggage until our room was ready. The staff was amazing!!!

I requested an early check in. We went to the hotel 3 different times before we could finally check in at 4. All we kept getting told was that "your room is still being cleaned". We arrived at the hotel at 9:30am.

We were upgraded to a suite due to issues with our original room which was lovely. Complimentary breakfast was lovely. One particular member of reception staff was really lovely. Coffee and iced water in the lobby.

The toilet was broken from the moment we checked in so we reported the issue. It was over 2 hours before we were moved rooms. The hotel only had 1 working lift for 16 floors. And sometimes the other lift didn’t work either so we were taken to our floor by a member of staff in the service elevator.

Great location, parking available across the street. Bar on premises, a plus. Helpful staff and good views.

Room was compact (610), bathroom shower claustrophobic and had no soap holder. Toilet paper sat on top toilet because the roller was missing. The sink was cute but not practical. I had to use the window sill to do my make up. The Keurig didn’t work, my husband had to hold it down to brew a cup of coffee. Some people got suck in the elevator while we were there and we had to take the stairs, six flights while fire department worked on getting them out.

Location was great. Rooms were quiet. Staff was awesome (Terrance)! Bed was very comfortable.

Should have more pillows. In the suite, you should have had more than one remote for the t.v's. Water pressure could definitely be stronger.

It was well situated very close to a streetcar stop. Breakfast was adequate something for everyone. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was very small with no bench space at all. The shower gel container was broken and unusable. The lift was never working at busy time so a few trips down the stairs. (One lift was out of service the whole time we were there.) paid parking close at $20 for 24 hours but from what we saw very little street parking anywhere so ok under the circumstances.

The location, staff, breakfast and cleanness

There was only one working elevator. One of the employees (a guy) did offer us a ride on the service elevator a couple of times due to waiting on the elevator so long. We had to use the stairs several times during our 3 night stay from the 8th floor. The parking for the hotel guests should be free or if you are going to charge a fee is should be reasonable price weither they leave to get something to eat or to sight see.
