The staff minus one weird older security, who thought he was top flight was amazing. Zee from valet made sure he had my vehicle ready, always smiled and helpful. Houng from the lobby bar was the best he suggested different foods and drinks to me. Omg Miss Debbie from the elevator, what a beautiful, sweet lady. She is amazing and spoke with everyone. Just a really great experience overall. The lobby, halls, pool areas were always clean.
There was only 1 escalator to go upstairs to guest rooms. I guess it was a party so the lines were really long. We were not allowed to use the staircase either. I personally like stairs better, it’s a good exercise and help reduce obesity in USA.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, I love that the rooms have a darkening panel for the windows. I’m a light sleeper and I am awaken when any source of light sneaks in. We had a really good night and didn’t get to sleep until 2am so it felt really good to sleep until 9am because it still looked like night time in the room. The beds were super comfy, enjoyed the amenities and the credits we received to enjoy some of the amenities. Overall this was a good experience and we will definitely be back!
The only downfall was it is my personal preference to have heavier comforters. However, I cranked the heat up a little with no issues.

The view and how clean the rooms are. Location is close to the Superdome. Most of the employees were very nice and helpful.
For parking we were told it was included in price, it was not. When we arrived we were told we could self park for 30 which was incorrect, We had to pay $20 to move vehicle. The front desk told us to move the vehicle to valet for $50 for the entire stay so we did and then were told it’s $50 per night. After this the parking is $52+ tax per night. It has nothing to do with the money but simply the misinformation.Valet was very rude when we ask him why there was so much confusion and none of the prices were correct.

Super clean. Huge. Great location. Several self serving garages around ( one adjacent to the building). Has Starbucks in the building, as well as Chick fil an and donut place right around the corner.
It’s too big if you are staying just one night. By the time you learn exits and everything it has, you are leaving. It is a hotel that hosts conventions. We came for one day and it happened they were hosting a convention and it was crazy. Couldn’t use the pool which was the main reason we booked the hotel. The front desk gave us $50 credit to use in the hotel bar/restaurant to appease that we never used.

Room was very spacious which was extra helpful because I ended up traveling with a broken ankle and a knee scooter! Very pleasant staff. Great location - easy to get around town but not too close to the craziness of the French Quarter. For JazzFest it was great - the shuttle had a stop just on the other side of the block, although because of the knee scooter we never used it. Plenty of good dining options close by, and it's an easy walk to the theaters on Canal Street, or down to the river.
Our room was never cleaned - we had a 3 night stay and had said we'd like to have it cleaned, so that was not the best. Not terrible, because we aren't demanding about new linens, but it is nice to have the wastebaskets emptied, and since there are not towel bars or places to hang hand towels or wash cloths, it would be nice if housekeeping came to check on that.

We decided to stay here because it was close to the smoothie king arena. this hotel exceeded my expectations. the staff was very nice. this hotel felt like a resort. with restaurants, bars, and even a Starbucks. 10/10 stay.
I will say with how huge this hotel was, I found it difficult finding my way around the hotel. I felt like I was going in circles. the staff was very helpful though. also since it’s on a Main Street you can either valet or park in a garage. parking in the garage made it stressful already trying to find the way back into this huge hotel. we stayed for 2 nights and the day we left we were still confused.

Location is great for anything going on downtown. Hotel was very clean
The pillows were not good. I had 2 rooms booked that I was paying for. One for me and my wife and a second for my elderly in-laws. Upon check-in I was at the front desk and they were waiting for me on 3. The desk clerk would not let me check in both rooms. She made me have one of my in-laws come down and be present to check in. This delayed us by around 15 minutes. That's not a long time but this was an event weekend and there were many people in line who were also inconvenienced.

We could never get anyone to answer the phone from the front desk, we tried at least 10 different times. I also requested my suite to be clean because I had guest coming over that evening. We followed the online (early AM )instructions for room cleaning for the day and asked for additional glasses in the detail section and nothing occurred. The cleaning attendant was just outside our room when we left for the day. She spoke no English when we tried to get her assistance. It was very disappointing because our room (RM 1948)was perfect for entertaining for cocktails.
Simply answering the phone.

I was attending the NMA ( National Medical Accociations Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly July 29-August 3, 2023. I also extended my stay after the convention August 4-8th, I liked the fact that the convention was held (everything) at the hotel where we didn't have to go out to the convention center for our sessions. The hotel was convientley and centrally located to bus and trolly transportation,to the French Quarters restaurants and the Riverwalk, supermarket and CVS pharmacy. The staff was friendly , accomadating and professional. he I come back to New Orleans..The Hyatt New Orleans Will Be my hotel of choice.
There was nothing that I didn't like.

The breakfast was amazing. Staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. The top floor gym has amazing views, lots of equipment, and spacious. It was my birthday and the manager (Benson) was kind to upgrade my room that has amazing views on the 25th floor. I would definitely come back on my next trip to NOLA
The pool was closed during winter season even though it was fairly warm and the pool is heated. They should consider having it open during this time. The cleaning service could be better trained to clear dirty glasses and be more thorough.
