Everything on site was as good as we could expect. Also, the fact that the property is located right off the expressway was nice. The breakfast was like the cherry on top of the sundae, a great way to start the morning. The variety, quality and the fact that the breakfast bar was well maintained put an exclamation point at the end of our stay. I would highly recommend visiting the Frederik Meijer Garden, located just across the expressway.

That area has become way too congested. Trying to navigate through the intersections in an attempt to visit the mall or local restaurants, and then return to the property was a nightmare.

I came in for a wedding. I was to arrive a day earlier but flights were problematic. When I called to delete a day, the front desk said no problem and did not charge for the night I was unable to arrive. When I did arrive the next day, I was able to check in immediately and was advise they upgraded my room since I was staying 3 nights- no charge. I used the exercise room while there, and appreciated that Gravity was within walking distance for dining. I also like the microwave in the room to heat left overs. Th ebed was INCREDIBLY comfortable. Thank you for the accommodation!!

the breakfast served was absolutely incredible! the only thing that would make it even better if it were served till 11:00/11:30! the location is very interesting! interesting in a good way. the hotel itself is honestly very beautiful and the inside is just breathtaking. the lobby is very lovely and truly love how this hotel stays cleaned and being cleaned! always seen staff cleaning around the hotel. the staff were also very friendly and lovely all around, also very helpful!

something that could be worked on is maybe the time checking in just for those who arrive earlier than the time set.

It was in a good location, looked newly renovated in the lobby. Lots of parking and there was a nice restaurant next to it. The breakfast was decent and had a lot to offer. Staff did a great job keeping it stocked because there was a baseball team there too.

Although the lobby was refinished our room was a little dated, but clean. I did think the suite we got had a different set up than what we picked online which caused some issues when we were trying to figure out a sleeping situation. But we managed. My only big complaint was the bed was SO LOUD. Like every time I even moved an inch it woke people up! I’ve never slept in a more uncomfortable bed in my life.

Wow fantastic. When we first got there they had delicious coffee and snacks. The hotel looked and smelled clean. The staff was genuinely friendly. Our room was large very clean the beds was very comfortable, lots a channels to watch on TV free Wi-Fi. The whole hotel was very clean and it smelled good. It was shocking to see even the pool area was clean BTW the pool is heated 😊. Breakfast was very good. This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in the staff goes above and beyond. Thank you Country Inn for making our stay the best, we will definitely be back.

The only thing we didn't like was we had to leave.

Really convenient location. Not far from downtown Grand Rapids, and super close to Frederik Meijer Sculpture Park. You could even walk it if you wanted to. Having a pub/restaurant almost in the parking lot is a nice convenience but we didn't actually end up eating there, but heard it was good. The breakfast area has plenty of seating and lots of choice (not for vegans but for vegetarians like us it was totally fine). Room was quiet. Bathroom layout excellent for an extended stay. Staff were great. Late hours for the pool also great.

This hotel was beyond our expectations. The front desk staff Stephanie allowed me to check in early and upgraded us to a bigger room which was very kind and unexpected. Due to my long flight from Ecuador I was able to go to my room and rest. The breakfast was included and it has great selection. The bed is very comfy! My husband was using the gym and spa and we just felt like we were home. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping and kitchen staff.

They should have a dress code at the restaurant. It was disturbing to see a couple and their little girl walking into the restaurant for breakfast with their pajamas and barefooted. Several guests couldn't be bothered to put on normal street clothes or comb their hair. Sad.

This is a good all round location. We have family who live in East Grand Rapids and this is only a few minutes drive from where they live. I like that the property offers free parking and free breakfast. Complimentary coffee and cookies are available throughout the day. Rooms are clean and well equipped, and staff is friendly.

The property is located close to the freeway. Depending on what floor your room is on, you may hear traffic noise from the freeway during the night. Our room was on the ground floor this time, right by an entrance/exit door, even though my preference is set for a high floor. We were woken up during the early hours by someone pulling on the entrance door, trying to get back into the building. Travelers should keep this in mind if they are light sleepers.

We always love this location! Easy to get on and off the freeway to get downtown, close to East Grand Rapids shopping districts and safe area near Calvin and Cornerstone Colleges. The pool is open 6AM till midnight, which the kids love, avoiding the "is the pool open yet?" question always being no! There is a little arcade as well that we haven't been able to use yet. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, breakfast is served hot!

Could use a bigger parking lot or access to the bank lot on weekends only if they could work out a deal.

Loved our room. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was super clean. There was a large selection at breakfast both mornings we were there. The pool and hot tub are in working order and enjoyable. They are on the lower level, which was nice because the rest of the hotel doesn't smell of pool chemicals like other hotels we've stayed at.

The only thing I would mention that we noticed that we didn't like was the pool room floor. It wasn't as clean as the rest of the hotel. From people walking about with shoes. It just seems like it could have been cleaner, especially between the hot tub, pool, and table in the corner.
