Excellent location for US Bank Stadium (only 3 blocks away). Metro train to Airport and Mall of America only a couple of blocks away and very easy to navigate. The hotel was bright and clean and our room was surprisingly large. All the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful.
The initial entry point is a bit confusing. If not driving, you will be dropped at the building entrance where there are a bank of elevators and a mini-mart. Take the elevator that says "Hyatt Place Hotel" and it will take you right up to the lobby. Also, we didn't notice a ton of eateries close by but we did have dinner at the Normandy House which was pretty good.

Complimentary breakfast every morning. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were spacious and stocked well. Very clean rooms and common areas. 7 minute walk to the light rail station and other transportation is all easily accessible from the street entrance. Great place to stay if your going to a concert at the armory as well only 2 minutes away. Security is excellent. Key card access to hotel lobby after 5pm and you cannot use elevators to rooms without a keycard either. Early check in was available to us at 1pm. Baggage storage available aswell upon request. There is a pantry at the front desk but also a larger convenience store at the bottom entrance to the building. The pool was a great place to relax two hot tubs with jets and the pool isn't very big but the water wasn't chilly. The hotel was overall very quiet and family friendly aswell.

The hotel is centrally located, modern, well maintained, has great interior visual appeal, and is connected to the Skyway system. The included breakfast had many tasty selections and was decent. The coffee was of good quality and Rainforest Alliance certified. The kitchen has green practices in place. The double queen room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was well insulated and quiet. We received our request of a room away from the elevators.
We could smell Marijuana smoke through the vents into our room, possibly from the room next to ours. The bathroom door in the room was a glass sliding door. This is insufficient for a bathroom door. Parking was $30 per night (beyond the cost of the room) plus additional parking taxes. Breakfast food ran out and was not restocked prior to the 9 AM end of breakfast time on a Friday morning.

The breakfast was great, the room was huge and the front desk staff were friendly!
The hot tub, which is one reason why I picked your hotel was broken the entire time I was there. AKA broken as in, I was told, someone had 'Peed in it' so it was getting flushed, I would guess. But, seriously, I rarely travel and was counting on the hot tub and it was a no go. Super bummer. Oh and also, is there not a way to not have Styrofoam bowls in the breakfast area. Really, those are so bad for the environment and unnecessary. Oh and my only last thing is, the recycling is not obvious. Couldn't it be sortable for you? Or does someone sort it. Really, we all have to do better.

The location and ambiance was outstanding. Room size very large. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Their system was down when we arrived, but still checked in with relative ease.
Was very disappointed that had to pay for parking and $30 too for the night. Guess that's the cost of staying at downtown. Breakfast variety was quite limited compared to what we had at Hyatt Place Chicago (spent the night before). Washroom size was small and congested compared to room size. The bathroom glass door wasn't balanced properly so would not lock. There was no microwave.

We liked the size of the rooms and the layout. There was plenty of room to spread out. It was nice that there were more than enough towels in the bathroom for our use. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. The breakfast buffet was excellent and convenient. There were many gathering spaces on the ground floor. The location was good as we were attending an event at the Convention Center and wanted to travel there via the Skyway.
The bathroom was quite clean with the exception of the mold in the shower. We were not big fans of the coffee maker. It appears to be the usual cheap hotel coffee maker and we had to struggle to fit the prepackaged coffee packages into the coffeemaker.

We loved the selection of breakfast items at the daily breakfast buffet.
I thought the bed was uncomfortable. I woke up with my back feeling achy. Also, there was only 1 regular coffee pod and 2 decafs. Given the rooms aren't tended to daily, there was definitely not enough coffee for 2 people for 2 days. We also would have appreciated an actual dining experience, since it seems as if there is a full kitchen on site. The burgers at the bar were less than palatable, but we were truly starving. Otherwise we likely would have sent them back.

Upon arrival the receptionist (Angela) was very helpful answering all of my questions. I didn’t know where to park and how to enter the hotel. Angela directed me to the garage and explained the parking situation and validating the ticket. As for the breakfast, it exceeded my expectations. The taste was above your normal continental breakfast from other hotels. The staff are extremely helpful and available for emergencies. I’m going on my sixth day and so far so good.
A couple of ladies at the front desk was not as friendly as Angela. I had to speak to one of them several times before an acknowledgment. Maybe she was having a bad day.

We arrived two hours before check in and while the room was already empty/clean/ready we had to pay an additional $25 to check in "early". Monetizing like this is really just a money grab.
Had 3 adults staying in the room and they didn't have enough hangars and toilet paper to accommodate. Had to call multiple times to get items delivered. Should have been in the room already.

The location on skyway was great. Parking garage super close was great, too.
Bar and restaurant were ill equipped, running out of food and good beers. Stairs should have been available when the elevators weren't enough for the number of people coming back on skyway from Viking's game; it took over 45 minutes and at least 10 elevators until we got one. Stairs should be made available.
