The office personnel was great and very accommodating. House keepers were very rude. I asked for sheets to change the beds and was told to give them the dirty ones right now! I stripped the beds immediately and put them outside the door along with the garbage. Then the female housekeeper literally opened my door while we had some of our family changing their clothes, and she threw the garbage cans in our room and a garbage bag. Don't ask housekeepers for extra towels. When I did, it was like I was asking them to pull a tooth. We had 3 adults and 1 child. 2 adults were female. My granddaughter and I use 2 towels 1 for hair and 1 for body. They only wanted 4 towels in the room. When we were leaving, vacation was over, and the man literally pushed past me as I was walking out. They also had a child with them every day while they were cleaning in the rooms. Also they acted like they couldn't understand English. Worst housekeepers I have ever had to deal with.
Housekeepers were horrible!

location is great. parking is good and the bear that sniffed my new Jeep was a bonus. even he/she thought it was nice.
I felt like the showers could have been a little cleaner. Overall cleanliness was great but a little more care to make sure the shower was cleaner would have been perfect.

Location, price, on-site parking. Day shift employee was amazing! Quick check in! Room smelt clean when we walked in.
On our second day BOTH of our key cards were deactivated and we were unable to get into our room. They were carried separately, by 2 different people and stored in 2 different locations, so this was not an accidental deactivation by another electronic device. I went to the front desk to get them fixed. The night employee ONLY said, can I help you? And there you go. No apology, nothing! After being out all day with 2 small children, not being able to get into your room, lugging them across the street to the front desk and waiting for them to fix it, the LEAST (and really only thing) the could have done/said was hey, sorry about that! She seemed more annoyed I was interrupting her watching the TV show she had on. Also, mattresses need to be updated.

The room was very clean, and met all my needs. The location by the pool was nice. Rockers outside the room was a wonderful touch. Just a short walk to all that Gatlinburg has to offer. I was extremely satisfied!
They were replacing the roof and parking was a bit of an issue, but improvements are required and expected. It was not a problem. I loved the location of this Hotel. Just a quick walk across the parking lot to the next street to a tram stop. We have stayed here before and will always try to book this Hotel. Thank You Econo Lodge for a wonderful experience.

The location is great at a great price and the rooms are well worth it I go here every time now. Seen no bug's of any type here the last 3 times I've stayed here other than a bee outside lol. Also has a pool balcony decent parking and comfortable beds.
One small thing I didn't like was some corners and behind the bed under the bed looked like they haven't been cleaned in a little while (some dust dirt and hair) not allot but could tell it was over looked. Definitely not a big deal though other than that was pretty clean .

Location! Location! Location! My husband and I were in town for our two year wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The grounds were well kept and the pool was clean and amazing. The walk-ability is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere from Ol Reds back up the strip to Shoney’s and other restaurants towards then end of town. The lady at the front desk was super sweet! I would definitely stay again! ♥️
The front desk was under construction when we checked in and made it difficult to enjoy the pool that evening due to the noise. Obviously upgrades and maintenance are inevitable so it wasn’t really anything negative and they were done that night.

We requested a first floor room because we have two small children and have to pack many extra things for them to make their stay comfortable and keep us sane in the process. We were told over the phone that we would be in a second floor room and were not given an option to change but when we arrived at the hotel, the night shift staff was very understanding and accommodated our request and put us in room 101 which was perfect. The room was very large and had plenty of space for us. The hotel was also walking distance to anything we wanted to do in gatlinburg. The heater in the room also kept the room very toasty and comfortable.
The first night, there was a bad storm that came through which wasn’t a problem but the smoke detector in the room started dripping water onto the floor below it. The parking was hit or miss, we arrived on a Monday and got parking right outside the room but as more and more guests arrived, the limited parking in front filled up to the point that we had to park all the way around the building and down the street. It was awful lugging children and everything that we had with us from down the street to our room.

The staff was wonderful! As lovely as can be. The room was spacious and the decor was great.
The ice machine in the hallway beeped loudly through the night. I requested the next morning for it to be addressed, but the following night it still beeped loudly and consistently. I made sure to check that it was not the fire alarm in the hotel hallway, as the sound was similar. In addition, cleanliness could be a tad better — the bed and sheets were clean, but the bathroom and shower could be cleaner. The carpet is dated.

We love that it’s so close to town. They accommodated our room request which was fantastic!
It’s astonishing to me that they will not be bringing back their hot breakfast…EVER…according to the lady at the desk! Using COVID as an excuse is getting tiring!
